I've been looking at this thread for a while now without participating as i consider myself as a really bad chess player.

Congratulation to everyone as it was really interesting to follow a game between players who know how to play!

Below are some brief comments on the game.  After I made few inaccuracies in the opening the game was close to dynamically equal (although quite complex) until move 26. The resulting endgame was very difficult to defend and you put up great resistance until move 50. Your quality of play was much improved from game one and I was particularly impressed with how you navigated the tactical problems I tried to present.

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bb5 a6 4. Ba4 Nf6 5. O-O Be7 6. Re1 b5 7. Bb3 O-O 8.c3 d5 9. exd5 Nxd5 10. Nxe5 Nxe5 11. Rxe5 c6 12. d4 {12.d3 has been more popular at the top levels recently.} 12... Bd6 13. Re1 Qh4 14. g3 Qh3 15. Re4 {15.Bxd5 cxd5 16.Qf3 may offer better chances to fight for an advantage.} 15... g5 16. Qf1 Qh5 {Qxf1+ 17.Kxf1 Bf5 leads to a roughly equal endgame.} 17. f3 Bf5 18. a4 {18.Nd2 may have been more accurate.} 18... b4 {An accurate response. Black has full compensation for the pawn because of my lack of development.} 19. c4 {19.Bd2 Rb8 20.c4 could transpose to the game with a loss of 1 tempo for both sides.} 19... Nf6 {Bxe4 20.fxe4 Nc7 was also playable with an unclear position} 20. Re1 Rfe8 21. Be3 c5 {another good move} 22. Nd2 {22.d5 Be5 gives black a nice initiative} 22... Rxe3 23. Rxe3 cxd4 24. Ree1 d3 25. c5 {Activating my bishop was a must} 25... Bxc5+ 26. Kh1 Rd8 {Bg6 was more accurate for tactical reasons. The rook may prefer another square.} 27.Re5 Bh3 28. Qe1 Bd6 29. Rc1 Bxe5 30. Qxe5 Qg6 31. Rc6 Rc8 32. Rxc8+ Bxc8 33.Bc4 Bd7 34. Qd4 g4 35. Bxd3 Qg5 36. f4 Qd5+ 37. Qxd5 Nxd5 38. b3 {38.a5 looked strong but I felt b3 might present more practical challenges.} 38... It's amazing that he beat us even after allowing group thinking and all the time in the world to respond to his moves, with both Black and White. Goes to show us how sharp he must be in real time ! Very very impressive.

I think the board might have to be enlarged and possible more pieces added. obviously the higher the piece count and squares the lower the chance factor. And I think we would still lose!
