There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Couldn't this game be expedited by also voting that Black will then advance whichever pawn it can until it queens. And then white can decide if it captures the pawn or not, where it moves its queen, and then we can resume the game once both sides have queened?

I think one of the characteristics of chess players is to be patient I agree that most of us can probably predict the next few moves pretty easily but the idea may confuse a few beginners looking at the thread. This game has gone on for months so I don't think saving a day or two is that important. I can be patient:)

I think white cannot escape perpetual checks after both b and f pawns queen? Honestly looks like a draw here.

A draw is our only hope at this point I hope we can force a perpetual but I do not think it will be easy. White has too many options to calculate. Our king position will make it harder to force a perpetual because of many situations where he can block check with a check. b3: 5 votes (tifozi, Morecoin, boolberry, GoldTiger69, languagehasmeaning)
