I did offer that service. Now what is wrong with that? It does not mean I am evil or that AmsterdamCoin will not be a success.

Well for me personally, that is a red flag. It gives me a sign you actually dont give a shit about crypto, and are willing to pop out shitcoin after shitcoin as long as you get paid. I don't like that.

I dont care if you use those earned funds to pump AmsterdamCoin or whatever your plan is.. I dont like the idea that the head developer of a coin I support is creating shitcoins for other people.. Maybe this happens ALL the time... I don't know that.. but at least they are smart enough to do this under a different name if that is the case lol

Anyway, good look with your project Wink

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

The one that gets chosen will recieve 1000 AMS.

We also want to hear the voice of the community here. Please post/let us know which design you like, we will take all votes in consideration.

Working hard on the android wallet at the moment. If all goes well it should not take that long to get it released. I forked https://github.com/hank/litecoin-wallet and its dependency https://github.com/hank/litecoinj

A few questions. Apologies if they have been answered already. I didn't see this info in OP where it should be.

How many coins for ICO exactly and how many for bounties, faucets and such?
What will ICO price be?
Will leftover coins from ICO be burnt?

Thanks.

I first have to speak with Yobit before I can say things in public. Lets say that if they do not respond within 3 days the ICO might be off.

Quote
The goal of AmsterdamCoin is to be the most accepted crypto currency of Amsterdam.

How are transactions easier than fiat?  For example, if buying items in a shop - how would paying with this coin be easier (or faster, even) than handing the cashier physical money?

Also, your post history doesn't help the legitimacy of this ANN Tongue

You have to look at the total usage of the coin where tourists do not have to change currency and the shops get paid on there bankaccount. That makes it easy, fast and secure. So

  • Easy: No need to change physical currency
  • Fast: Shops get paid on there bank account instead of bringing the physical money to the bank
  • Secure: Shops do not need to have (lots of) cash money so it is more secure

I do not care about your opinion of my post history. I am here to make this coin just great.

Fair enough mate Grin sorry if I came off as hostile, no offense intended
