Ok - after some much needed help from team members (woody, metamorphin, and timc) I have finally got my wallet up and running again!  It seems I had to do the dumpprivkey, importprivkey, then resynch wallet.  Now all is working and I am on the right chain.

New wallet fixing Yobit withdrawal problem

Well - I said less than 24 hours for a fix and here it is less than 2 hours later!!!
Yobit has the new wallet and a test was done of a withdrawal.

TimC suggested that if you do a dumpprivkey in console (carefully copy  and paste it into a text file), you could avoid the hastle of step #7 if you run into problems. Note: once you export the private key, anyone with access to it could take your coins - best to save it in a text file on a flash drive. The private key is litterally the key to your coins. Anyone with it could import your coins and move them. If you are not comfortable with dumpprivkey  - go through steps 1 - 6 and ask for help if needed

Read all steps before you start!!!
1. Change name of wallet.dat and/or Backup wallet.dat (in AppData-Roaming-FlyCoin)
    with a name like wallet.dat.FlyCoins
2. Delete all files in Roaming-FlyCoin except your wallet.dat.FLYcoins
    This is necessary due to new nodes (coded in wallet) and peers. (Do not use the old nodes in the Ann).
3.  Click on this link to new Wallet

3. It is a good idea to keep a copy of the old wallet in case you need it - you could remane it flycoin-qt.exe.old
    Put new wallet in location of present Flycoin wallet-qt and Start new Wallet & re-synch
    If your wallet gets stuck on re-synch - just close and re-open (mine got stuck around 21,000 blocks)
    My wallet re-synched in 1/2 the time it took to write this)
4. Close your wallet again
5. Go back to the Roaming Folder-FlyCoin and delete the newly created empty wallet.dat
    (not the wallet.dat.FlyCoin) then, re-name wallet.dat.Flycoin to wallet.dat -
     keep a copy of wallet.dat.Flycoin somewhere in case you need it
6. Re-open wallet - should be good

Edit: 7. We have had a couple reports of not being able to reopen the wallet after
          re-naming wallet.dat.flycoin to wallet.dat - this happened to me in a previous Flycoin version and also in another coin.
          The fix is go back to the previous working version - export priv key - reinstall new wallet with empty wallet.dat
          and import priv key. You will then need to do a new name claim because the old wallet address will be empty

         If you need a previous version see a previous presstab post with the link or ask here on thread.

An updated source and wallet has been uploaded by keesdewit. The only change was to increase the version number so that it will be showing as 1.6.2.

My wallet is all good now.

Backup, backup, and a third backup just in case.
Do Not Put your Backup in you %APPDATA% directory!  or a subdirectory thereof.  Things may get erased.

Went from 1.5 to the old 1.6.1 to the new 1.6.1 wallet.

It worked when I allow each new version to sync up with an empty wallet, then added my wallet.dat to the roaming directory and started the wallet with the -salvagewallet commandline argument.

Didn't seem to work straight from v1.5 to the keesdewit v1.6.1.

 So not wanting to leaving any person/coin behind and still moving forward with the funding of SuperFLY we will be doing one more fork which will put back in the 10% fee. These forks are needed so people can get their coins off the Yobit exchange.

 So you have about 10 days to withdraw all FLY from Yobit and put them into your wallet as we are moving to Cryptopia and we will fork again in 10~14 days. We are asking you to remove your coins from Yobit since once it forks you will most likely not be able to withdraw your FLY from Yobit since their system does not handle the 10% fee but Cryptopia does.

Wow, such action Thanks for notice on PM. I'd like to share my experience from switching to newest version of wallet, maybe it will help someone.

Pro tip (for pro users): There is quicker way to switch to correct chain. No need to resync from scratch, renaming wallets, etc. What I did (linux, but similar for Win) :

1. Use (compile, download) newest sources (1.6.2)
2. Stop current wallet (always use "FlyCoind stop true")
3. Make backup of .FlyCoin data directory (just in case) [always make backups!]
4. Remove just peers.dat
5. Run wallet (it will connect to hardcoded - good - peer). Coin has ability to reorganize blockchain so it will start syncing from where blockchain splitted (just xx blocks).
6. Wait for sync, and check you are on correct chain (do not compare with presstab's explorer as it's on wrong fork for now and hash for this block is different, it is also few blocks ahead in count) :

SWEEEEEET Finally received my FLY from YoBIT! AND, with that, I just cracked the top 50 on the richlist. I know it's not a big deal to most of you, but I really worked to get that 100 FLY. Made it ALL off of trading and selling. Not easy but it's amazing how much some people will pay for your old, dead coins. Took me a while....but I did it!!

Thanks to the FLY Team!!  Way to pull it together. Looks like Rum-n-Coke time....AGAIN! ARRRRRRG me Mateys
