Dump on bittrex with poor buy support. We need cryptsy and/or poloniex.

How do you arrive at poor buy support?

How does being on Cryptsy and or Poloniex increase buy support?

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

2.5 BTC buy support only, sell side is 37 BTC... more exchanges equals more diversity.

Just need one quality exchange, Poloniex.....Bittrex is slightly better than Cryptsy, Cryptsy is just plain slow when a coin is trading hot....

Maybe so but an exchange doesn't create buy support. Community interest does. Poloniex isn't going to add a coin if there is not already a demand and volume already.

Some times they add coins that they think have potential and not so much in demand, but rarely. ie. Burstcoin and Siacoin.....

The secret for a good coin ? Market Makers ...
Will market makers invest in a coin with ~500k premine and only 84k mined for now ... ? hum

250K premine. You can do a ./shift dump 0
this will print the genesis.

this is not a criticism, I give my opinion that is all. Premine is normal. Also, maybe they have their own market makers ....who knows .. this is crypto ^^

diff is low, perfect for me

About the 500k premine, I remember a print screen with 250k + 200k + 10k but i maybe wrong... but i still have the adress.

250 + 200 + 10 = 500 ? The premine is 250k. You can use the shift binary to check every block starting from genesis.

./shift-bin dump 0

This is not an insult, but how the hell is 250+200+10=500? It's 460, you don't need calculus for that...lol

Don't dwell on the premine so much, if the total pow coins end up being 2 million, then that's just 12.5%. Compare to Ethereum, most of the coins are IPO/ICO are way over 50% (just being nice, more like 90% of the current total). It's either a partial premine and/or an IPO/ICO, projects do cost some capital to start and/or maintain.

The problems with all cryptos, including BTC, is adoption, practical usage, simplicity and gross power emissions (ie. gpu mining, asic, etc aren't very eco friendly). Some have transparency issues that create trust issues, possible ponzi schemes...

Hello friends, I've been mining since the beginning and was wondering what are some of the bounties available right now? This coin is doing amazingly well compared to Ethereum. The #1 bounty I want to see is an Augur clone without the ICO premine.

Someone needs to make a real-time block explorer, that would be nice for starters. Maybe a couple of creative DAPPS. Another pool would be nice that has email notifications if a miner(s) are submitting share or is down. There's tons of other things that probably others can think of. Maybe a miner that has more optimizations, especially for Nvidia. A QT wallet. Ask the dev what bounties are available or wait until an update on the OP about it...

Maybe if the dev sets up a bounty list we could get more people involved that would like to develop something on shift.

Someone posted a better block explorer back in the beginning of this thread. It was Ethereum compatible. I think https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ is only Bitcoin compatible.

What is the bounty for the real-time block explorer? I can spend 1 BTC to get it built. Would the bounty be around today's rate of 2200 SHF?

Cryptoid is the best blockexplorer and costs 0.25 BTC/year
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/

$100 USD/year, not .25 BTC.

Someone posted a better block explorer back in the beginning of this thread. It was Ethereum compatible. I think https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ is only Bitcoin compatible.

I can't seem to find any open source ethereum block explorer. etherscan.io looks the most powerful
