There have been some surprises these days in the preliminaries of Champion's League and Europa League:

The bad shape of teams, affects the results

There is bad news for Leipzig as ther participation of the Leipzig in the Champions League has become questionable as EU investigators said the German club could not compete with the Red Bull Salzburg team at the same time because of the rules of ownership. they were agreed to compete in in the Championsleague earlier but both teams failed to prove that they will be fair in the competetion and In this case, the Salzburg team will be able to participate as the Austrian champions, while the Leipzig team will be eliminated because they are second in the Bundesliga behind Bayern Munich.However, the European Union's judicial chamber opened a case in which Salzburg was able to prove that the cooperation between the two clubs had ended, and that Red Bull's membership in the council had expired, and Red Bull's sponsorship agreements had been amended.The European Union also stated that there was insufficient evidence that one club exercised decisive influence over the other. So both teams need to be carefull with their meetings in the futur.

Both teams  were both cleared by UEFA on the 20th of June, so there are no issues if and when they meet in the champions league. As far as there is no evidence of collusion, they will be fine.

The bad shape of teams, affects the results

I'm benefited from Zalgiris win against Ludogorets, I bet few bucks on this game. Well, second Zalgiris goal was quite amazing.
Unexpected results happens often in qualification rounds. For many teams qualification games is first official matches of the season and they aren't ready to show best what they can.

Teams which lost in 1st qualification round will receive 200k € from UEFA, teams which passed this round will get 250k € for this win, and more in next rounds. Also, they will get additional money for sold TV broadcast rights, sold tickets and etc. It's not worth to fix games in UEFA competitions, especially for such club like Rangers. Teams or individual groups of players rather choose to fix games in national championships.

champion league can give more money for every the participants that's why more teams has more concern to playing in this competitions and income from champion league can be additional income for small teams especially for those who able to reach group phase because every round the prize will more increase and increase

But there are other reasons that make small teams try to appear in the champions league if they get a chance to play in the champions league then they can get experience to deal with a strong team.

Most of the teams at this qual phase are too unknown to have a decent information about how to bet on them and how are they really playing in international level. Because they are usually their own country champions /or 2nd-3rd/. But they are too unpredictable on international games. So i'm avoiding to bet on this phase.

Exactly and those are the teams with low budget and stand a chance to be easily influenced by cash from opposing teams if any or even bookies to let a game go in a particular direction so it's safe to stay away from such games for me really.

most of the teams who play in the first qualifications only weak teams and most of us are so blind about the strength from those teams so that's why some people don't dare to take the chance and i personally more prefer to predict the matches from group phase rather than for qualification matches
