I think I have changed my perspective since the first time I came to this thread. At that moment, I was actively spending my Bitcoin buying things like games, right now I am waiting for a price increase to spend my coins in a decent laptop (I have around 0.65, right now that would only buy me an old laptop, I am getting more and waiting for a price increase to be able to buy the one I want).
Same is here I was also actively using my coins for online purchase and converting them to fiat after earning but now I have kept my coins with me and I am waiting for a few months more to see that upto where my coins are going to increase in value.

I'm also doing this because there is such a good chance that the bitcoin is going to a higher amount this year.
Holding right now is the best thing you can do in my opinion, the halving will help us all for sure.
There is a chance that the price is gonna rise to a high amount but this is still not sure, so keep that in mind.
The bitcoin can still collapse this days, although it would be very weird.

I don't think that bitcoin will fall in coming days, now its time to grow and bitcoin is successfully doing it in recent times so I think holding till halving is best option.

The most people with a smart mind are indeed holding their Bitcoin and that is because many people wants to make some profit with Bitcoin and that is quite logic.
It wont be that smart if you are selling your Bitcoins now because the value is not event that high now.

yes selling our bitcoin now will be a silly attempt by us, as the price of bitcoin is increasing on a large speed and with our holded money we can earn a good amount daily without any efforts.

The smartest thing to do for any investment is to not keep all of your money in one place, no matter how good you think that one investment is.

A lot of people may be expecting bitcoins to do what they did in late in 2013 / early 2014, where they hit over $1,000 per coin. It could happen, but that was before a lot of prominent companies were accepting bitcoins. It was also a time when there were few "safe" exchanges, and not many good US-based options.

Say you have 100 BTC. You could hold and hope for a price jump of 20-50% or more...but you may also end up with a price collapse of that amount or more. The incentive to continue mining falls sharply each time the difficulty increases.

Consider that if you keep half of your BTC  and then convert the other half to cash, you'll essentially be locking in at least 50% of your current value.

If you then take that half of cash and invest it, you can grow your account while leaving yourself an opportunity to catch any price jumps in BTC. Going "all in" on any one thing is gambling more than investing.

Almost every user were in need for a additional profit which can be earning only these days of regular increase. With this thinking I continue holding my hard earned bitcoin.

Yes, holding the coins for price increase is the most profitable decision  these days. You will soon be rewarded for it on Halving and it can make you rich if you have a few Bitcoins.

The simplest way of making a profit though bitcoin is waiting. Though sometimes it is still risky and there is chance of lost if you are a regular trader but for a long investment then it is good.

Yes, I have invested in Bitcoin is because of its growth. I invest a small amount when the Bitcoin was about $ 350, diversify their savings. And I got a profit. Due to the rising interest rate Bitcoin will grow further, I think.

Price going up would be good but price really only gets bad when it starts majorly going down, other than that, minor changes are fine, and a price increase would be cool, but I'm not obsessing over it.

The steady price of Bitcoin over 450 USD for a few days now its a CLEAR indication that we should keep holding our bitcoins as the future maybe bright and we may made another extremely sad story like the guy who bought a Pizza for 10.000 Bitcoin a few years back, lets learn from past mistakes and not do them again.

Hold for long term would be wise decision if anybody can afford to hold it there, i can be hard for all people to keep their investment into bitcoin for a long time, i just holding 50% of my savings into bitcoin and i have strong believe into this, soon it will go to mainstream and price will explode to its all time highest level.

The only coin which is rising with BTC is LTC. Most of the other coins are falling with any increase in BTC price.
You guys think LTC has a future too?

LTC is going good at a moment but I don't think it has long life like BTC, and BTC is accepted everywhere which factor is missing in LTC, BTC will be more popular.

So are you holding your bitcoins for future events such as halving or you more like to spend your bitcoins when you get it? I personally like to spend it for digital goods usually...

Yes, i wait for price increase.
Yeah so do I. I believe that more than 80% of the Bitcoin users are holding on to their Bitcoin for the future. This really shows that these people are confident that the price in the future is going to satisfy them.

Yeah and looking at the present rise in bitcoin's price has led to have more faith in minds of the people and now they are confident that price will surely go high at halving.
