I guess 50% of the people who post are really holding their bitcoins because they know that the halving is near and those people who knew what halving is are the one who is waiting for the price increase.

Im holding my bitcoin for price increase but not to the point that I will wait for long months just to make a sell. If I sees profit out from my buy rate definitely I will sold it then repeat again the process of buying.

Agreed, you don't want to wait for long months, but wait for few months, halving is there which will be more profitable than selling before, you can earn a great profit. Then again continue the process as you stated.

Some are holding it yes. But there is good percentage of people here also that are trading in altcoin and bitcoins every week or days. I guess that is kind of good also. Profiting through small increase.

Why would they do it? Most people here think Bitcoin is underestimated now so why would they sell their coins? I think to sell now is silly if you don't have reasons for that of course. If you need real money right away then selling is not silly.

you are right. if saving bitcoin longer, I think the price will not always get you to profit, so hold for a few months I think is enough to make you a profit, and maybe it could reduce the risk to the price of bitcoin

Holding too long can be risky sometimes, as we never know what will be the value of bitcoin in future so its better to keep on selling when the price goes higher.

Holding is done by most of the users, also it's the right time to hold than getting involved into anything else. Some are following altcoin trading strategy in which people use altcoin trading and invest those profit into bitcoin.

There are a lot of people that is holding their Bitcoin for a price increase and that is logic because we all want to earn some profit with it and that is nice for Bitcoin and for you.
You will never know what the value will be and what the best time is to sell Bitcoin, so you have to take risks.

There is no exact time to hold our coins to make profits. That's a classic doing leading to missed some supposedly profit when the price fluctuates. What if the price boost from 200% tommorrow would you still wait for halving?
