If you guys are saying you aren't waiting for a price increasing, you are lying to everyone including yourself.
Others are just spending it as they earn it. They do not wait for a higher price before they exchange their bitcoins. So they are not lying. But of course, we all wanted bitcoin to have a higher price. Higher price, better income. Yeah its better to hold for next couple of months as halving is also coming so we can expect some good price, so I am holding my bitcoin for few months and will sell after the halving. Indeed. I am also holding my coins. I think that patience is very important in the Bitcoin world. Because you dont must to early to sell your coins, because that isnt good for your money. Just wait and see. Wait when you think it is a high value. |

Yes its good idea to hold bitcoins for price increase but I am not hoding any bitcoins, reason being i do not have enough to store, I would not like to store some 0.1 btc or a price increase, right ? Yeah obviously. |

Yes its good idea to hold bitcoins for price increase but I am not hoding any bitcoins, reason being i do not have enough to store, I would not like to store some 0.1 btc or a price increase, right ? Yes its good idea to hold bitcoins for price increase but I am not hoding any bitcoins, reason being i do not have enough to store, I would not like to store some 0.1 btc or a price increase, right ? Yeah obviously. Yes that's a good idea and even i am doing it, just waiting for the price to increase bitcoin collect as much as possible. and hold it is a great idea. I think 0.1 btc is still too small to hold. you will not get a lot of profits just by 0.1 BTC |

Maybe you can wait later and than you must wait for the price is rising, and than you can sell it with a good value, so you can have some profit.

I hold most of my bitcoin for a price rise. The price will rise in the future if it is used widely by many people in the world. |

You are right, I'm holding them also because I think its the best thing you can do these days, you can make a lot of profit by it so why you should not do it right ? I'm also waiting on the halving because that will really let the price go up in the future. |

Yeah and I am really thankful now for the increasing price. Profits are coming again slow but sure. It is really lovely seeing bitcoin move specially when it is going up. My bought bitcoin from the past are now working itself to make me money.

I think the best reason to motivate people using and holding the bitcoins is really the price and the money, and it's normal mate people need money and treat Bitcoin as real currency |

Without it's fiat value bitcoin will not be become popular compared today so the thread title is really obvious to answers. Majority holds because of price because that is the way it used to be. |

Not always. People might just be saving like they do with cash. When people put money in banks they rarely do it just for the interest (which is minimal these days and not worth it anyway unless you have huge sums of cash that can be tied up long term). |

I think 0.1 btc is still too small to hold. you will not get a lot of profits just by 0.1 BTC I think we all do that. And some people are now even investing to have some maybe profit later if they want to sell it. You can now see that the price is also rising and that is very good for Bitcoin and for the people who has made an investment. |
