So are you holding your bitcoins for future events such as halving or you more like to spend your bitcoins when you get it? I personally like to spend it for digital goods usually...
Yeah to be honest. I'm going to hold some for the long-term. If it turns out to be successful globally (i.e. everyone uses it), I have some to spend. Same here also  To be honest, I'm still holding almost 50% of my remaining bitcoin and the other half was sold when it reach $700.00. If it reach a thousand more (hoping). I still have bitcoin to sell. |

If you have hold it since long time, then I think you should wait for little longer, as now we are sure that price will reach to $1k very soon, so that would be the best time to sell your coins. |

Right, not happen panic sell on yourself be patience to wait for bitcoin price will get more increases. If bitcoin price is reached $900 and more it's amazing and will give a more profit. I think that the most people are now holding it and especially now because the value of Bitcoin is becoming higher so that is really nice for people with Bitcoin. But it can takes a long time until the value will be higher so we have just to wait for the right moment to sell it. What do you consider to be a long time before Bitcoin reaches a higher value? 6 months? 1 year? Remember that no matter how long you wait, Bitcoin will give you much higher returns than for example investing in stocks and such. And don't forget the poor 0.5-2% annual interest rates that a savings account can offer you. |

Unlike real currencies it looses value when the price goes down. If $ goes down 3% tomorrow there will be no difference in the price you pay for stuff but if BTC goes down the price for stuff goes up. That is because it is 100% linked to dollar and does not have a value on its own.
Many nations want their currency to get lower exchange rates because it is easier to sell their goods to other nations. Only nations who import a lot of stuff want a high exchange rate. Bitcoin has realy nothing to do with trading and it has its whole value based on current exchange rate.

No. I use bitcoin for things around internet, in my case coins circulate all the time. Today I have, tomorrow I have more, then I`m on zero and from beginning again. Most of my coins are in casinos, looking for nice bonuses, or nice promotions is something where I make money.
So for me its important that btc price is high as possible, I don`t think its really matter how much, I look at that as a nice bonus on my income.
I think this price fluctuations are good for traders, they earn from that.

I already sold everything, for now I don't see single reason to HODL except long term badgers with papers in vault:P
You missed out the chance of getting bigger profit because of the price increase and maybe somehow you need the money because you sold it earlier. But for sure, most of the people today are holding bitcoins for a hope of price increase. |

That's why we just need to hold out our bitcoins and you just need to wait for it. That's all we are waiting for all time. The price increase and we just need to be patient on it. Because once it reaches in the price that we want then that's the time of selling it. |

Yeah and if you had any plan to buy then yesterday was the best time to buy as price was below $700 so I think you should wait for some more time if you want to buy as current price is too high. |

This price increase won't be stable IF you ask me. I think it will drop again to 680 or near it. and you can buy bitcoin that time. and don't sell your bitcoin too fast. you should wait till halving. we are hoping for big achievement in this halving. bitcoin will hopefully touch 2k$ at this halving.. and You are right. almost 75% users voted that they are holding for price increase, and now every holders would be happy after seeing new price. |
