I am into using bitcoin as currency but it would be impractical if i wont take advantage of Bitcoin price increase. So I can say if there is an expected price increase, ill be holding it until i feel it's time to sell or use it. Then accumulate once the BTC become cheaper.

All of us are holding our coins. Sure some have sold a part, but I don't think people sold all their bitcoin. That would not make any sense.
Since the moment has been good for 9 months now.

That is the right strategy to follow and you cannot afford to miss any opportunity of earning profits from it, if price goes higher you should sell and again wait for price drop to buy. |

I heard that ethereum have been compromised by hackers so for the moment I prefer to buy bitcoin and held it until prices rise. also i refer to this incident has give a good signal to the rise in price of bitcoin.

It would be awesome if it breaks the all time high price which is the $1200, for sure most holders will sell their coins to make the highest profit. I see btc a more progressive for the future, after halving exactly. I'm planning to sell my coins before the day of block halving.
It would definitely be awesome if it did break the all time high but apparently, that won't be happening anytime soon. We'd probably need a lot of big and heavy investors plus adoption and publication to go over the current all time high. |

It shouldn't really matter whatever is happening with altcoins as Bitcoin must be the nr1 choice at all times. Altcoins come and go while Bitcoin is here to stay and make a serious impact in how we store value and do payments. |

Sure, i believe that price is gonna grow till $800 and maybe even more, but nobody knows what will happen after halving so better to sell your coins soon.
Yeah we don't need to wait like to reach the price up to $2000. We need to be smart on making decision on when we are going to sell our coins i think $800-900 per piece is enough for me to sell my coins because i also think that other users will also sell their coins for $800-900 and it will result for a price drop. |

Yeah to be honest. I'm going to hold some for the long-term. If it turns out to be successful globally (i.e. everyone uses it), I have some to spend. Same here also  To be honest, I'm still holding almost 50% of my remaining bitcoin and the other half was sold when it reach $700.00. If it reach a thousand more (hoping). I still have bitcoin to sell. i think the price is now raise to its high level . we should be a little carefull know. because i think the market will take a little correction mean the rate will come down to some level. i think we should wait for that time. yeah that's why you should be able to take advantage of opportunities as possible. when prices are high then selling itcoin its best choice/ bitcoin has fluctuated definitely the price will go down. so you can buy more at lower prices. markets see the current price is too high. will probably go down again so better take advantage of opportunities as much as possible |

I haven't yet collected any bitcoin but am hoping to save some eventually for the longer term, primarily as a pension safety net. We currently own no assets or hedge against fiat at present so Bitcoin is one way to be able to provide something for us perhaps when we will really need it.

I definitely am. Bitcoin prices have been on the rise for weeks now and I just believe this is not the end of it yet. We should be in for more future price rises, especially in the long term when bitcoin is used as a global currency.
In the long term, bitcoin will be a good store of value when fiat collapses.

This is the correct time to earn more BTC with more profit. Really all the wallets are going to be piled up on or before halving. Really waiting for the good moments to come. Really happy to see the price hike. Price will go even higher as we reach near to the halving stage, as people are buying bitcoins now and that is the reason price is moving up, it would be good to hold till the halving. Yeah price will go higher by the days of halving. Now too regular price increase has been continuing, so holding with patience will give users assured profit. Exactly price is climbing up now and if we wait for the right time to sell then we can earn very high profits, and selling at halving will be the best option. The price of bitcoin will continue to increase till the next year just like before, so I will not sell at that time and will wait for more so that I earn much more with my collected bitcoins, and become richer with that. |

Yes, right now I keep Bitcoin to increase prices. Due to the increasing cost altcoins I've been trading on the stock exchanges,of course, fell slightly in price, so I have to just watch. Trading temporarily abandoned. But I am glad the rising price of Bitcoin.

No. I use Bitcoin as a currency, not as an investment commodity. In my opinion there are too many bubbles and the price isn't stable enough to confidently hold it and wait for price increases.
Anyway, Bitcoin is more about the ideology in my opinion. If you're here just to wait for price rises and make a quick buck, I don't really know why you're here at all, and you probably should go look up some get rich quick scheme and go join Charles Ponzi.
agreed!!! it would be best if the btc that you own have a rotation like use,earn,sell,earn. holding btc just for price increase is just ridiculous you cant always expect for the btc price to increase |
