I agree that Roma are in a decent condition in the league right now. And they have still many games to go in this season. They still can qualify for even the Champions League by ending as the fourth team but it would be really difficult at the same time. The current fourth team in the standings are Atalanta now. And they are having another solid season also. Roma should be able to defeat Atalanta first of all and they are going to play home against Atalanta in one month. If they make it, then I would believe in Roma more to make it.

Securing the 4th position on the standings won't be an easy task for Roma. They are currently 5 points behind Atalanta, while Atalanta have an outstanding match to play. Which means they Atalanta eventually wins, that will increase their points gap from Roma to 8. Also, we should not forget that Juventus are occupying the 5th place. And they are just 1 point from the 4th position. Any slight mistake from Atalanta might result to them losing their position to Juventus. However, the League is getting more interesting.

I'm vouching for Juventus to be in the top four at the end of March, they weren't looking too good in front, but with the introduction of Vlahovic they have an edge now to score as much as many goals.
Can Roma get into the top four ? A whole lot of uncertainty their for them what are the possibility of them, they have to put up a strong performance by winning it drawing in other to achieve that.
Atalanta might be the once to drop out of this , they be looking weak I don't see them innit.

Personally as a team I don't think Roma are too strong. However, since Mourinho became the coach, everyone had high expectations from the Roma team. Because Mourinho is a very experienced coach. However, for a good performance, you need an experienced coach as well as good players. Roma's striker is good enough, I have no complaints against them. But, Roma's defense is weak. Due to weak defense they concede goals against strong teams and cannot win. Mourinho should now be added to the experienced defender squad.

You set the Atlanta team as an example. And I agree with you. Atlanta is a great team. We don't see too many star players in this team. Yet their performance is excellent. Each player is playing well in his position. And their performance at the end of the day is excellent. Roma's coach is experienced. Now they need experienced players. And of course management has to spend money and have the mentality to buy the necessary players.

If that's the reason you can't compare the two, Roma was built with more money than Atalanta. But unfortunately, the achievements of Roma and Atalanta in the last few seasons and also this season Atalanta are superior even though they were not built with a lot of money. As we are talking about Roma's chances for this season, I believe that they are not a very trustworthy team first of all. They lost nearly the half of their matches played in the Serie A until this point. If we take this into account, it is not easy to believe in them for a Champions League spot. That's true, but we also couldn't expect him in the first season he arrived at Roma. Even because the club was not in a very favorable situation before. I think he's fighting for 4th or 5th place, he looks pretty good.

100% Mourinho is a great coach but he can't produce results without a good selection of players. If there were coaches who could secure the championship without having to buy the stars and the strongest players, then everyone would hunt them, not the players. But we all see that in reality both sides of the equation are important and the best coach can do nothing if the composition of the team does not meet the desired goals.

Leading by 5 points is not that safe because there are still 15-16 matches remaining till the end of the season. Juventus might be the hardest competitor for Atalanta, the new player Vlahovic may make significant improvement in Juventus side. Atalanta need to do their best till the end of the season to stay in the CL zone, but I think Juventus will be the one that will finish in top 4.

Milan is not an opponent to chase the title for Inter, what they should pay attention is Napoli, because Napoli have a better squad than Milan for the title race. This weekend, Napoli meet venezia, they has a big chance to win the match. Inter's victory will also be followed by Napoli in 2nd position. The next match, Inter will meet Napoli, this is the real match for Inter in the hunt for the Scudetto. Napoli also will not waste this opportunity. Yes true, I don't see any strong player in that team now. Torreira, Callejon and Piatek are the names that I heard of and have seen them play but rest I have no idea or say haven't caught my attention. However, I am interested in watching Arthur Cabral- recent Fiorentina signing for Vlahovic replacement. I honestly didn't thought them as contender for 4th place before Vlahovic sale, there are too much Serie A teams who are playing far more better than them.

We will see how much Roma want the Champions League spot this season in their remaining Serie A matches. They are going to play against Genoa tomorrow and this should be the easiest match of the season for them. Genoa are the second worst team in the standings right now after Salernitana. They shouldn't even be able to compete with Roma much here. Roma should dominate both halves of the match and win a victory by at least a two-goal difference.

The top teams are going to play today and tomorrow. The interesting match is going to be within Inter and Milan. Inter has to add up a win or Napoli will like have a chance to move to 1st position if they score good number of goals as Napoli will be playing against Venezia. Feb 12 is going to be a day all waited. Match between Inter and Napoli are going to be stunning and awesome. Expect Juventus to move up to 4th place very soon.

Juventus should have absolutely no problem in taking all 3 points from this encounter, considering their present form and how well they need this points in order to boost their top 4 hopes. Verona are still a good side and juve have had issues in beating them in recent year, I am guessing will win no more than 2 goals difference and I am sure Verona will give their all as well and considering some of juve’s key players are out on injury so it should be a tight encounter.
