Results of 2 Serie A matches today.



Juventus were held to a 3-3 draw by Atalanta which made them (Juventus) fail to win 3 points after they had previously dropped to 10th place in the standings due to a club scandal. With this result at least Juventus has risen to 9th place in the standings, while Atalanta is in 5th place in the standings.

Roma again proved who has the right to be the winner, after they beat the host Spezia with a score of 0-2. Goals were scored by El Shaarawy and Thomas Abraham in the first half and second half. With this result Roma managed to move into the top 4 positions, while Spezia they had to stay in 15th place in the standings.

I was sure Atalanta would beat Juventus. But such a high number of goals shows that Juventus are not going to give up and will try to play at their best despite the club's difficulties. Atalanta are also doing well. Had it not been for Danilo's final goal, they would have taken the three points, but in fairness this match ended in a draw.

Ac Milan is currently in a position that requires them to continue to get wins to keep their ranking in 2nd place in the standings. Too many problems in Juventus recently especially related to the -15 points to them. This is a big points to lose because of the management's mistake and I'm sure it affects player's spirit. The other possible effect is that they may lose some of their main players because it is now harder for them to be in top 4 at the end of the league. Some players who want to play in UCL may leave them at the end of the season and it may also affect their current performance.

Juventus is not stable,  sometimes they play better and at times games seems to be very  difficult for them. Well, also in this match Vojciech Szczesny did not play his best. After all, the first goal was solely his fault. I agree with what you said. It's not the players fault. I wouldn't want to be in their place. I think it's a shame for the actors. But such a punishment has been given and they must suffer the consequences. I believe they will rise above where they are. It is a great tragedy that such a situation should happen to Juventus. It had happened before. Again, innocent players became victims. I can not accept this.

I'm happy for Mourinho too. I would love to see your team in the champions league.

Szczesny was responsible for the first goal. He should have saved that shot easily but he couldn't stop the ball with his hands. Juventus had a really bad defensive performance in this match at the same time. They could have even lost this match if Toloi didn't waste a big chance to make the score 4-3. Szczesny made up for his mistake a little by saving that great shot there. But this result is unacceptable for the team anyway. Juventus are better than this but they need their injured players as recovered as well.

As for their chance to climb the positions to top places I don't give it much chance while there is a huge gap like this. They had better work harder in the Europa League or Coppa Italia to win at least one of them.

Juventus players played well to move closely to AC Milan but the accident caused them a painful punishment with 15 minus points that sink them down on the table. With it they will not be able to move closely to top four in near future and might be end this season with a position not in top four.

Roma are up to 4th position on the Italian seria A table now, they have 37 points, just 1 point behind Ac milan that is second, so they may even finish in second position this season, i am very happy for Mourinho, i know his ambition with Roma this season is to bring them back into the champions league, and i believe he would do that.

Roma have improved their performance with a return of Paulo Dybala who is very important for them. More fortunately, they got benefit of Juventus punishment and take over the fourth position. Roma can climb up to a third or even a second position in next few weeks if things go smoothly for them. Same total points as of Inter Milan and only 1 point less than AC Milan, Roma suddenly see their chance to be a runner-up in this season.
