Even if they end up finishing the season at 17th place, there isn't really that much difference in finishing 12th or 17th, you end up staying at the league and you win nothing, both are getting the same result.

Is been a long time I saw Roma win their home match, is always either they lose or they draw because this has happened to them for four Italian matches and two Europa League match, actually I no that Daniele De Rossi has not been long on the Roma team but since January he was signed the club has just been the same without moving forward like others, so if this continues he would leave the management not much option but to terminate his contract because Roma has just few matches to loss and relegate themselves, so if the club does not act now they would have themselves blame because lately clubs that are not doing well has beginning to change coaches if they can brought back the little that is left from them. However Atalanta on the other hand is truly behaving like a champion they are because for some of the clubs that won trophies last season they are the only one who are on a complete form and Napoli is just few matches away from giving up the first position to Atalanta.

I agree, and even then I said that the problems are not with the manager but with the squad. Ranieri isn't a bad manager I agree with that, but even he won't turn this ship around, they will just have a terrible season and by summer they will realize that they need to get rid of some players and get some new ones in order to find better results.

They will probably try to negotiate with some clubs and players for loan transfers, but not more than that. I expect no bought transfered player from Roma in this winter transfer window because they're not a rich club with abundant budget for player transfer.

Ranieri will have to accept this fact and all player resource he has, work with available players and improve their capability as well as performances of Roma. With their player quality, they can improve and stay in the first half of league table, not with too low rank like now.
