Monza's weakness is that they are not able to play consistently. and that makes it quite difficult for them to face Verona at home. even though Verona is not a strong team, they can get a draw from this match. Monza is the favorite but they are also sloppy at times. so a draw score will be better in this match or maybe Verona will take the initiative to excel from the early minutes which will make Monza's game chaotic. but overall I see this fight as 50:50.

I haven't watched any of these two's matches this season, I don't think those two teams have caught my eye so far.
Napoli, Inter, Juventus and Milan are the teams that made me watch Serie A for several seasons. The 4 teams I mentioned have something good to look forward to, especially since they are big teams which allows me to get some of their matches on the betslip.
I didn't watch the Verona and Monza match although they played the top 4 teams above, but surely some of us might know a lot about them so far. The home team's chances of winning are better, but Monza seems to have good form to be expected to win the match.

Monza is certainly going to be the favorite to win the match against Verona. This a classic example of a maid table team going up against a team in the relegation zone. But let me tell you this, if Verona does end up winning, they will be out of the relegation zone. I don't personally think that they will be able to win, but still, it is something to keep in mind.

Monza should be ready for this match because they just won against Empoli. Which is obviously a better team compared to Verona. Monza should secure 3 points from this match. This might actually potentially tell them to the 9th or even 8th position depending on how many goals they win by.

Everyone can lose a match and Lazio Roma is of course still a big name in Italian football, even though they lost to AZ yesterday for the Conference League. Perhaps Napoli will also loosen the reins a bit, by the way, they are still 15 points ahead despite the defeat last week. Championship is 99% already in. The question is who will become 2nd, inter seems to have the best papers due to the current ranking, but given the game image there are even more teams that can claim 2nd place.

Actually for Napoli I think keeping a few players and getting a draw is still pretty good as long as they can focus first on the Champions League. The margin is still quite far even though the hope remains that they will win the match.
But if it's like that the tough competition like the previous season will really be lost for this season's trophy hunt.

In fact, with a very wide gap in points like that, then of course Napoli can be sure to win the title. So, even though Napoli is also focused on the Champions League, this will not affect its position in the Serie A standings. I've been an AC Milan fan for as long as I can remember. I love this club with all my heart, and I always bet on them to win, no matter what the odds are.  I know that betting on my team can be risky and it's utterly stupid but hey, we won the league last season.

Now with the apparent gossip of Pioli's sacking at the end of the season if they fail to finish in the top 4, it's just feel stupid to me. Pioli has done a commendable job given the circumstances, and he should be given the chance to continue leading the team next season. Sacking him would only create more instability and uncertainty, and then we back to the banter era, boys... I thought an American owner would make things better.

Ac milan is a team full of achievements, no doubt many fans are full of love for them, including me. indeed last season was a beautiful victory for them but this season seems to be a bad foundation for Ac milan. Kessie departure is a big wound to the balance of the AC Milan squad this season. Maldini moved well in the transfer window last summer but yes the signings he has made have not been able to make a bigger contribution to Ac milan. I was surprised when Ac milan was defeated by inter milan in the italian super cup with a crushing score.

the failure in the second half of the season made it difficult for ac milan to provide competition in the top 4. yes stafano pioli has done a great job i think he will deserve to be given a chance.

It was quite remarkable. It's incredible how Atlanta couldn't get a shot off. Milan, in my opinion, is back on track. This season, they have given outstanding performances. I wish they would continue their strong teamwork and performances.

Intermilan, Lazio, Roma and milan still have a great chance to be in second place at the end of the current season because the difference in points with the second place in the standings is still close enough in only two full 3 point matches, and there is still plenty of time to determine the winner of Serie A this season. 12 games remaining on the season from 26-38 is still plenty of time I think for a position. If perhaps a miracle caused Napoli to lose control in a row during the last game I think it is still possible to catch up with the current ranking below, but it looks like an impossibility but who would know that will happen.

Well, losing their best form after the world cup was none other than due to the decreased performance of Leao and Giroud where they found it difficult to contribute when Milan needed a win but they were unable to perfect it. after going through several winless matches which knocked AC Milan out of the top 4. in the 5 matches they have played with the results of 2 defeats and 3 wins which cannot be said they have returned to the expected track. the defeat to fiorentina made Ac milan fail again in maintaining their ranking in the standings table.

but there is still a chance for ac milan to change for the better in the upcoming matches. now ac milan is facing tottenham in the champions league where ac milan can try well to qualify for the next round. The first half has been running for 22 minutes in which no goals have been created so far.

Regarding the actual situation, I am confident to say that Napoli could be declared the scudetto winner unless in case of points reduction sanction like Juve. The gap is quite big first. We are talking about 15 points difference here. Second, the teams that are supposed to follow them are throwing points generously. For example, Inter, Lazio and Roma dropped 5 points in the last 5 games while Napoli dropped only 3.
Napoli could fight in Champions League while trying to maintain their secure distance from the others.

I could be wrong but second place has no value for anyone (maybe only for teams like Lecce or Sampdoria) by itself. The only useful thing it gives is a ticket to the Champions League, but there are 4 places so it's more interesting to watch the struggle for getting into the top four. With the Juventus fine and the successes of Roma and Lazio, there is a chance that the second member of the big four (and the defending champion lol) will not make it to the top 4. In general, I would say that this intrigue is a good compensation for the fact that the champion in Serie A is known long before the end of the tournament.

There is no way this is Milan's best performance in this season. They were much better than this especially at the beginning as some of you have mentioned already. Now they are just inconsistent that's all. They first seemed like they were recovering but the recent loss against Fiorentina made things worse again. Milan are still not good enough at scoring multiple goals in a match. They should be able to do this easily against smaller teams at least. They have very effective attackers to do that.

In this situation I don't give Milan much chance for the second position. I would rather continue with Inter and Lazio would follow them right after.

Sure, they are in a bad form. They have no good strikers, they just rely on old strikers like Giroud and Ibrahimović. Unfortunately, these strikers are no longer in their golden ages, they are not in the best performance anymore. So, as long as AC Milan can't sign top strikers at productive ages, they will be difficult to compete with Napoli and Inter Milan. I hope AC Milan management thinks seriously about signing new strikers in the next transfer window.

What kind of drugs do you mean? Juventus were deducted of 15 points and Ac milan is not the only club that are in a bad shape, it can happen to any football club for many reasons, it is the job of their coach to solve the problem, though i feel they must buy players in the summer, new players will help the team play better next season, maybe if they had signed some good players last summer, they would have retained their Seria A title, but Napoli are going to win it because they have such a strong squad with young and fast players like Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia. Next season will be so tough in the Seria A if teams like Juventus, Inter milan, Ac milan and Lazio all come back to their best to challenge Napoli and make sure they don't win the title again.

I think Milan will continue to stay out of top four this week as well. Because even though they have an easy game ahead against Salernitana in San Siro it is the same for Roma as well.

Roma also have a home game against Sassuolo. Technically Sassuolo have a bigger strength than Salernitana but still they aren't a very challenging team in general. Roma just need to be careful and not be complacent even a bit. Sassuolo are known by making surprises against big teams of the league. We have all seen what they did to Milan in an away game. Roma should be winning this with a decent strategy.

The other games are not that spectacular this weekend except maybe for Napoli vs. Atalanta. If Atlanta can take away points from Napoli and Inter Milan win their game, the advantage of Napoli would actually start melting a little bit. It is still not much, but 17 or 18 points sounds different than 12 or 13 points. Even then though nobody would expect this Serie A season to end in a close race for the title anymore.

For the Napoli vs Atalanta match I think this will be a normal match for Napoli, even though Napoli lost against Lazio before I think they don't really care about that and for sure they are ready to get all 3 points to make it safer to win the Scudetto this season and even if Atalanta can beat Napoli, I think it's still a long way for Inter to compete with Napoli.

That is of course always what they are aiming for, but there is also the psychological part in the head of the players. You are so far away from second rank and you have important Champions League comes taking place very soon. I don't know if everyone is still willing to run the extra mile in Serie A games or risk to get injured due to not pulling back in intense duels on the field.

Those things also play a role and are certainly in the heads of the players. But still even if Napoli plays with 5% less intensity in Serie A they are still the favorite in any home game no matter what the opponent's name is. They have same total points but AS Roma have a little better goal difference. This season shows that AC Milan still are in rebuilding process and their Scudetto in the past season is a great success but it does not change their general quality. If they can get in top four this season, it will be helpful for their rebuilding continuation but if they fail in this big fight, their rebuilding process will have big minus.

Roma will have good chance to earn three more points and continue their race to top four with AC Milan, Lazio, Inter Milan after mostly striking out Juventus with their win in the last mach. Roma are fluctuating with top four but they even have chance to get a second position from Inter Milan.

AC Milan has qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League. They won the first leg and drew the second leg against Tottenham. While the team has played well enough in the Champions League, their performance in Serie A has been poor. They have lost two of their last five matches. I think Milan's aim now is to do well in the Champions League. However, Milan does not have a squad capable of doing well on a platform like the Champions League. AC Milan has no chance of winning the Serie A title. Now their aim should be to qualify for the Champions League. But if their performance doesn't improve, they won't be among the top four in the points table.
