He has probably exaggerated telling the fans at all the clubs how much he loves them and how he is looking forward to play for club x. He has so far played for 8 different clubs (for some clubs he played 2 times) in his career and he is 30 years old. I think the people have enough of his talk of how much he enjoys to be there and wants to make the fans enjoy the game. He has been a money-grubbing player most of the time and only when it didn't work out at his new love he went back to his old love... Milan has a lot of center forwards and thus, it will not be difficult for Milan to back up Giroud in Mlilan front line. We also don't forget about Origi there, even though Origi still can't play optimally but at least Milan will be able to give him playing time even if only to be a substitute player. After all, at least old players in Serie A at least always have good results too, so it's not surprising that Milan will still play Giroud for the main or second squad.
