So far Milan's performance has been very good, especially in the first half. Milan dominated the game and really put pressure on the Roma defense well, but unfortunately they haven't scored any goals apart from 1 Giroud penalty goal. Roma certainly hoped to score, but they still struggled to find opportunities until the first half ended.

About this season, I'm sure Milan can be expected to fight for the Serie A title. But the main problem is to maintain consistency of performances and wins, that's the most difficult thing for any team. Moreover, Milan still needs to think about the Champions League, their focus is divided there, which this season is in the hell group.

I would really like to know and understand the reasons why the final solution was that Lukaku now went to Roma instead of getting more time with Inter. Isn't the only possible answer here that Inter Milan was not willing to pay enough for him either for a loan or for a transfer? He didn't have much time to find back into the squad and he did that quite well, but it was obviously not enough to convince Inter Milan to go for him for an additional season.

Or maybe Roma has offered so much more even for the loan that Chelsea blocked another loan period for Lukaku at Inter Milan. Would be nice to know but I guess we won't find out because everybody will now say how happy they are with the solution they found.

I believe Romelu Lukaku would had been an Inter Milan player currently but he decided to betrayal a club that gave him an opportunity to play in the Champions league final, went behind their back to negotiate with another Italian team Juventus which got Inter furious about his actions and they decided to step out of the any deal with Chelsea due to Lukaku's action.
 Afterwards Juventus was in a serious negotiations with Chelsea for Lukaku and there were talks about a swap that would allow Juventus striker Vlahovic move to Chelsea and Lukaku the other way but suddenly Juventus lost Interest in due to fans protests against signing Lukaku and the deal collapsed leaving Lukaku to remain in Chelsea, the Blues where not interested in keeping him this season and later accepted to allow Lukaku move on a loan deal to Roma instead of keeping him on the bench for the whole season.

Are you sure that this is how it happened? If it's true he would really be a snake, but I am not sure that whatever you find on the web might as well be just rumors.

I thought that Chelsea didn't want him back and hence wanted to sell him, but Inter Milan wasn't willing to pay the price that Chelsea was asking. I don't know what that price allegedly was, but given how much Chelsea once paid for him and he played well for Inter Milan, I guess it was quite a whopping price.

No idea whether it was really his intention to negotiate behind Inter Milan's back with another club for his own benefit. How would he even benefit from going to Juventus when they don't even play in any international cup?

One problem could also be that rich teams generally have the problem to get good players cheaper because the other teams know how rich those teams are. It's like a premium they have to pay for any player they want.

But yes, the transfer of Lukaku at that amount was clearly wrong, but there are many transfers that have been clearly wrong. One great example also is Joao Felix. Those numbers are out of this world and many of the players have never lived up to that. But I think the clubs which received the money don't care right?

I am following the game against AC Milan at the moment and I have to say this is bad for Roma. AC Milan is dominating them in every respect. With the fans supporting them, Mourinho as the coach and lots of time to prepare for this game, this is quite a disappointment situation for them. They got Lukaku not too long and they still got belloti, I won't blame Lukaku if he doesn't score against Acmilan because he just got into the team and might take few matches to have a better communication with his teammates in the pitch, and another thing is that if Roma were playing against a weaker side then it would had been easier for Lukaku to shine on his debut or probably score a goal for Roma.
 However they're playing against Acmilan a very strong side this season with very strong attack filled with ambitious goalscorers so I don't think it would be easy winning them, they performed very well even before this new season and even played in the semi's so I think they decided to take this season by storm wth the form they had.

Rafeal Lao has scored an astonishing goal tonight even when he was losing his balance,he still created a way of scoring the goal. His goal is one of the best that I have seen in football history. This goal will be on headline news because it is not just a goal but an unbelievable goal. What an early goal in the second half.

Damn it,a ref card has been given to Tomori to put Milan on one man down. I think this is one of the perfect moment for Roma to have a welcome back on this match. I don't think that it will be easy for Milan to win the game if there is a lot of pressure from Roma.

Are you currently watching Roma vs Milan match?
Roma made a mistake in the first half in the 9th minute right when I wrote this reply and gave Milan the opportunity to take penalty and score 1 score while I at least hoped this match would end in a draw but it seems Roma still performed little badly like the previous match.
Maybe I'm too early to make up my mind about Roma but seeing Roma playing style makes me doubt if I can beat Milan while Milan performance was very strong in this first half.
In first half, there was a lot of pressure from Milan player, who currently had greater possession of ball from Milan and continued to put pressure on the Roma defense.
Hopefully Roma can get up in the second half later even if first half was little bad but hope for best for Roma.

Yep. Pioli understands how to deal with Mourinho's tactics. He ordered Milan players to win the ball possessions, so Milan has more chances to score and they control the match. That tactic is very effectively, AC Milan can score 2 goals. Unfortunately, AC Milan only played with 10 players since minute 61', Tomori got a red card. But AC Milan players still can survive although AS Roma becomes more aggressively in attacking. AS Roma finally can score 1 goal in minute 90+2'. However, it is too late for AS Roma, there is no enough time to score more goals. The final result AS Roma 1-2 AC Milan, AC Milan still can win the match with 10 players only.

By the way, Lukaku gets his debut in this match. Sadly, he scored no goal and get 1 yellow card. It is not a good day for Lukaku.

Yes, I agree with you since there are a few teams who are currently playing well. If these top teams can maintain their current form, I think it will be very difficult to predict which club will win the league till the end of the season . Since AC Milan has won its first three games, we anticipate similar results from other top clubs like Napoli, Inter Milan, and Juventus. Despite that Juventus drew their last game and I still believe juventus will be good form this season. Roma appears to be challenging to AC Milan, but I don't they actually are because Roma was not able to stop ac Milan from their full three point.

Sassuolo lost the first two matches. The team lost both matches against Atalanta and Napoli. The important thing is that the team was not able to score a single goal in these two matches. And so today probably many gamblers were considering Hellas Verona as favourites. But in today's match Sassuolo is back on the truck. Their performance is also quite good. So far the match situation looks like Sassuolo will get 3 points in this match. Hellas Verona's attack looks a bit weak today.

Given that they had lost both of their previous games, I believe Sassuolo is weak. To be honest, AC Milan started this season very well. Their performance is also getting better and stronger. Their motivation looks quite high with consecutive wins at the start of this season. It just depends on their future consistency. The match against Roma this time was quite tense, but Milan managed to beat Roma with a score of 1-2, which was very good.
The competition at the top standing is currently getting more and more interesting. And Juventus may have started to join the party and don't want to be left behind like last season.
