It was very important for Napoli to get full points in this match because if Napoli could get any points in this match they would have a chance to move to third position in the points table but they are very far behind in that direction as they never drop points against teams like Genoa. Another reason for their poor performance at the moment could be their change of manager. 

Changing their manager at this moment may not be the right decision. A new manager will definitely want to manage the team in a new way which will definitely have some bad effect on the performance of the team.

A win is a win and three points are three points that are more important for AS Roma after they got only one point in first three matches with 1 draw and 2 losses. The big win or a minimal win only helps Roma to have three points and can not lift them up too much on the table but it is a good reverse of their performance. The international break with two weeks helps Roma to change a little bit.

Looking further than just this result, Roma did had a better operation and it's good to see newcomers like Christensen, Lukaku, Paredes and Renato Sanchez have better adaptation and performances for Roma. It's good signal for a more powerful squad for Roma in this season. They did not spend too much money in the summer transfer market but they did cleverly and successfully got some good players to improve their squad.

That is a terrible defeat for AC Milan and it's shameful defeat for them. It will be marked in history as one of their worst derbies and this defeat means AC Milan lost 5 times under Inter Milan just in one single year 2023.

Roma played a legendary match. Scoring 7 goals is not an easy task. Sanches and Lukaku's contribution to the game was great. Rome got its first victory in a magnificent way.

It was a good demonstration from the beginning of the match for people to know that Roma will definitely win the match with plenty goals, which they did in the first half to lead their opponent. Roma defenders really done a great job in this match, because Roma defense was so strong for Empoli strikers not to have acces into their goalpost  through out the match that made Roma to defeated them 7:0 to maintain a good position in the Italian league table. we hope Roma will play with such quality even when facing stronger teams. it was their first win of the season which was great. even though their opponent is a team that is at the bottom of the standings and still hasn't won a single win. I hope this motivates Roma to perform better in the next match.
Dybala and Lukaku seem to be a good pair and will be the main option for Mourinho. because Dybala and Belotti's previous choices were deemed less successful.

This could be a good sign or just temporary, AS Roma's performance surprisingly beat Empoli with a very large score and our hopes are all the same if hopefully AS Roma doesn't experience another decline in performance in the next match because it's very sad to see a big club like Roma not able to perform perfectly this season while behind this club has a very experienced coach so it looks very bad if this happens again in the next match.

Yes Spaletti was the man for their success last season as I said before. In his cold hands, he made the team look even more frightening, especially in Serie A. Why didn't I say that when they were in the Champions League? Because I see them playing ordinary when they are in the Champions League, different when when they play in Serie A.
I don't know what caused them to part ways so quickly, because Napoli's performance was very good. Was it that Spaletti didn't want to bear the huge expectations on him or was it something else? I can't speculate further on that. It's unfortunate that they had to part ways so quickly.

Napoli played a great game, was overwhelming and Lazio could free themselves with two shots on target that both hit the back of the net. 90% of the time that game will be won by Napoli and they wouldn't be 5 points behind, but 2 points and nobody would really complain. It seems like Frosinone can't be underestimated, so far in 4 matches only Napoli can beat them. Frosinone team performance is really great. Even, today this team can beat Sassuolo with a score of 4-2 and they were automatically able to secure 3 points perfectly, Frosinone might be a tough opponent this season. Because surprisingly they were also be able to beat Atalanta and they also can hold Udinese to a draw result.

Apart from Frosinone, I also see that Genoa is also a team that is just as good as Frosinone. It's no wonder these two clubs are ranked 1st and 2nd in Serie B. I even slightly underestimated these two clubs when they were promoted to Serie A. Genoa was able to hold Napoli to a draw and also beat Lazio. But Cagliari seems like this club can't play as well as Genoa and Frosinone. Because currently Cagliari is still in the relegation zone.

I feel like every game in Serie A this season is much more difficult to predict. But it's not much more difficult than the Premier League. An example is Napoli who must be willing to share points with Genoa. This makes me lower my hopes for Napoli even more. It looks like it won't be as good as last season.

Currently the match taking place is Fiorentina vs Atalanta. And I bet on Atalanta in this match. But now Fiorentina leads the match with a score of 3-2. And the game is almost over. So it looks like Fiorentina will win this match.

The performance of Napoli against Genoa was very disappointing and I think this team is not going to be a competitor for other teams to take the Serie A title in this season.
In this game against Genoa, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia the midfielder of Napoli showed how unhappy he was after the substitution and he said ' What are you doing?' to Rudi.

Well, they were playing against a team, which is absolutely at the bottom of the table. But I definitely did not expect this much of a goal difference between them. Actually Roma could have scored another one. Paulo Dybala should have got another goal, but the free kick came back off the post. And the finishing from Roma was incredible in this match. Everything they touched turned into goals. I thought after the first half, probably they will play a little defensive football. But they came back hungry for more goals. And they were able to score freely without any big problems to be honest. And this is the first win for Roma in the season, and what a win this one was!

I think, it is very inappropriate and or very wrong if you expect Napoli in this season to still have good performance and good results like last season. After all, if you realize about the quality of Napoli from previous seasons too, basically Napoli is not a great team that always has good dominance in Serie A in every season. With these factors, then even though Napoli won the Scudetto last season but still, you can't expect to Napoli still have good dominance this season. Lol! For example, you can consider how Milan and Inter won the Scudetto two and three seasons ago. Whether Milan and Inter able to maintain good performance afterwards? Roma were superb last night. That win by 7-0 over Empoli must have made the players very happy. Dybala has made a great return as well. He scored two goals in his second league game. Lukaku also scored his first goal for Roma which is really good news to hear. His starting to be consistent at scoring goals again can be really helpful for Roma.

Lukaku has been doing pretty well for Belgium already. But we couldn't see the same effort in normal times for a while. But maybe this goal is a start of a good form for him. Belotti also made a big contribution by the way as he made 2 assists in 30 minutes he played for.

It must be admitted that since Spalletti and Kim Min Jae left, Napoli's defense has been very weak and has often conceded goals. If they often concede goals, it is not impossible that the pressure to defend the Scudetto title seems to be starting to affect the mentality of Napoli players. When I saw the number of goals scored I wondered if Lukaku was the one scoring much or if he scored hattrick. It turns every player scored once and Dybala scored twice. So yeah congratulations Roma for this nice result.
In the other matches played yesterday, I was surprised also about Atalanta defeat, I had the feeling that Atalanta will do it especially after they scored first. This surprise was nothing, since Fiorentina is a good team, comparing to the defeat of Sassuolo. This team was leading with 2 goals to 0 vs Frosinone before they lost by 4 goals.. That was a crazy victory from a newcomer team!

There seems to be a misunderstanding in understanding our conversation about Napoli. I've said this before too, that the expectation was even higher when Spalletti was here and gave Napoli a title. Surely that's why people's expectations are so high with their new coach now. Looking back at last season, Napoli's play was more promising than this season's, so it's only natural that we start pointing fingers at the coach to "blame" for this. I'm personally not referring to one game against Lazio, but their overall play.

Napoli have been so unfortunate before the break and I thought they'll get better due to the club they were to face where not really a touch one that would give them much troubles, but i was wrong because there misfortune continued against Nice, they got a good team that's balanced in both the attacking and defence areas of the squad so I fail to understand why they could get the 3points against Nice, is it that Nice were so good defensively or the Napoli team are not performing as good as they should.

 Rudi Garcia needs to figure out something figure the fans become very impatient because the more they lose further it gives them little chances of defending the league trophy this season and he might be so unlucky to lose his managerial role before their performance gets worst.

The season has just started and I don't see Napoli doing so badly. However, the rivalry in Serie A this season will be tougher than last season. Last season Napoli got the advantage from the inconsistency of strong teams such as Milan and Inter, plus Juventus which was in trouble. This allows Napoli, who have performed consistently throughout the season, to maintain a fairly large point difference from the others.
but this season all teams are better prepared. Inter, Juventus and Milan started the season well. and Napoli must also prepare to compete. I'm sure this season Serie A will be more interesting. there will be more teams fighting for position.
