Roma game has always improved quite quickly but this is not the time for them to relax and celebrate their previous victory because there is still a long way to go and Mourinho will continue to encourage his players to get better and develop even more significantly because for almost 3 seasons Mourinho has been very successful slowly returning Roma performance.

In the Europa League group stage match it was actually not difficult for Roma to beat Sherif even though they only had a gap of a few days because Sherif was not a team that could be said to be very strong so Mourinho and his players could be sure of winning that match.

The loss to inter Milan by AC Milan did affected their mentality as it was a huge one which could not be allowed to slide, it did played out in their style of play suggesting they are yet to fully recover from it, I think like you rightly said a win to boost their mentality is very much needed, as it will really go a long way to improve their performance in subsequent games , this is what the coach should note.

In the UCL game they had a good opponent so I wasn't expecting much considering that they are also seen as an average team in their league. UCL is a league which should be approached with a different style as you encounter people from different leagues where they are said to be champions and they also put out only their best of which if you approach with a regular style of play it may not be rewarding.

Newcastle has not been in the UCL for a long period of time so I don't expect them to mess things up, they obviously want to make the best use of this privilege after over a decade of been absent in the league, but then AC Milan didn't put up a really bad performance at the UCL opening, I am very optimistic they might perform better in their subsequent UCL games.

I think with what he has achieved in the past, Mourinho is still one of the best at the moment. I think one of the weaknesses at AS Roma lies in finances, Mourinho is not supported by an adequate budget to build a squad. Regarding Lukaku who failed to go to Juventus, this was because Dusan Vlahovic failed to be released in the transfer market as well. I think the fans rejection is only temporary, like Cuaddrado who moved from Juventus to Inter Milan.

It may seem to you as tho AC Milan isn't in a bad form but they aren't in their best either, with the likes of giroud and others been present there it's expected they should be performing well above average, not to think of the fact that they concede five goals, it's really worthy of consideration as this has also led to a drop in their point and position on the league table and this is something that can't be overlooked.

Definitely saying AC Milan is in danger wouldn't be wholesomely wrong but then it will be fair to say they are in what can be classified as mild danger, although they have experienced a drop in morale resulting from this loss they suffered over the weekend, I think it also had a role to play in their draw in the UCL debut, so you understand why we can say some level of danger is ahead.

Empoli were weak opponents. However, Roma's win in this match will give their players more confidence.  The roma team is not weak this season. However, they started the season very badly. Their performance against empoli was good . And it's thought the team may have returned to the truck this time. The opponent Torino cannot be called weak in the next match. This team is also in good form winning the last two matches. So Roma will have to play well if they want to get 3 points. My take is that Spalletti also left the club exactly because he is a smart guy knowing that this season can never be the same or better than last season. The probability is close to zero for that to happen. That's why he left when Napoli was literally at its peak. The last season was indeed unusually excellent and when there are 16 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss after 19 games, that would have even been amazing for Juventus Turin when they were at their best.

Spalletti chose the right decision since any result after the peak will be perceived as a decline. And by the way, many coaches do this, Mourinho also did not try to win the Champions League with Porto two times in a row and went to Chelsea. There are many examples when a team has jumped into overdrive and the coach leaves it for a stronger/stable one.
It's funny that although things have improved for the Italian national team after the victory over Ukraine, there is still a possibility of not qualifying directly, which would be a resounding failure.

Lukaku is everything; but not an overpaid lucky man; he is a great footballer who is living in the past and thats just fine. Lukaku insistent on not improving his game play is why he is struggling today and thats why not many clubsides wants him too. Other teams avoided him because of his strange personality and poor form

I don't agree with what you say. In my opinion Garcia made too many changes all at once at the beginning of the championship and it would have been better to take advantage of a proven team, which had won the previous championship many weeks before it ended (and this explains the decline towards the end of the championship when they had many points advantage over their direct competitors and therefore had an understandable drop in tension), and making small changes and modifications to the formation and game organization during construction and based on the form of its players.

I agree with most of your post, but I also think that sometimes as outsiders it is easy for us to have opinions. I actually have the same opinion like you, but we have to admit that we don't see the team at training sessions. Signaling to the team that the first eleven is set in stone because of what they achieved last season isn't necessarily the right path of action for a new manager. If it works out when he changes a lot, then he is the hero but if it doesn't he will immediately have to deal with repercussions from the public, the fans and perhaps the team itself. Lol, very funny. If a head coach doesn't make any changes, but why would the team sell some key players? After all, even if the coach doesn't make changes, there will always be players leaving and coming in the transfer window. Therefore, it is very inaccurate if you argue like that about, Garcia who made a lot of changes. After all, no team continues to use the exact same players as in the previous season. There is a very simple reason why team sells key players, it is because they have no choice but to sell them. Contract duration, financial pressure etc. look at Dortmund or Frankfurt in the Bundesliga. Do you think they loved to sell Kolo Muani? Or Dortmund loved to sell all those top players, Bellingham or give Haaland the release clause? It is because they have to. How many key players did Napoli actually sell?
