For Napoli it will already be a great feat to reach sixth position this season, considering that they still have 13 matches to play but still have to face Juventus, Inter, Atalanta, Roma, Fiorentina and Bologna, so to achieve what you think, Napoli should first everything to win against these teams who are in better positions than Napoli and not lose against Sassuolo, Torino, Monza, Frosinone, Udinese, Lecce, Empoli

The problem is too complicated. The players have no motivation to win the match. On the other hand, Napoli hired random coach. I don't understand why they hired a coach with lack of experience. The current coach looks only capable to manage a small team. He doesn't fit to manage Napoli. I bet Napoli will fire him before his contract is over.

Yes that's right. Being able to reach sixth position by the end of the season is an extraordinary achievement for Napoli because currently Napoli have changed coaches many times. Of course, in the remaining matches until the end of this season, not much can be expected from Napoli. But look, now it is Inter Milan vs. Atalanta and I agree that probably Inter Milan will win this game, hence that's good for Roma.

Next week Atalanta is playing against Bologna! Again great for Roma as they are playing against Monza and if they win that game they are in a great position to climb up the standings again. Best part about it is they have their game first and if they win it they can lean back and see what happens in the other game. Lazio is playing against AC Milan, which is also good for Roma.

The week after Bologna is playing against Inter and Juventus is playing against Atalanta while Roma is playing against Fiorentina. If Roma can win the next two games, this would be a huge jump for them in the standings in general. They would distance most of the teams below them from themselves and they would get very close to the top. I am not talking of Inter Milan, but the top 4 particularly. It could be great weeks ahead of them.

Fiorentina, who had lost their consistency, was finally able to enjoy their latest victory when they hosted Lazio and honestly I didn't think that Fiorentina would be able to beat Lazio. I am more inclined towards a draw considering that both teams are at the same level and also their performance in the last few matches cannot lie. I think the previous victory by beating Bayern Munich in the Champions League could make Lazio more motivated, but in fact at home to Fiorentina they were much more under pressure.

I am more inclined towards a draw considering that both teams are at the same level and also their performance in the last few matches cannot lie. I think the previous victory by beating Bayern Munich in the Champions League could make Lazio more motivated, but in fact at home to Fiorentina they were much more under pressure.

Fiorentina proved a pretty good mentality because they were playing at home and they managed to turn things around after being 1 goal behind in the first half, this was truly extraordinary.
However, if we look at Lazio's side, they are not too focused on this match and in fact they are preparing for the second leg against Bayern in the middle of next week so there is no greater motivation from them.

With De Rossi, Roma tends to play more attacking and this tactical change is reflected in total goals they scored so far under De Rossi era. However their weakness in defensive line is still there and it needs to be fixed. Roma will need a stronger defense to win Europa League and to win as many matches as possible in Serie A to join top four or more specifically to get the fourth position.

I am one of those who doubted De Rossi when he was given the Roma job, but I love how he has been able to turn things around for them. Managing Roma is no easy task. This is a team with a lot of history so there's pressure on the manager but De Rossi has handled it just fine.

Speaking on the defense, I believe they'll get better. The coach first of all identified the bigger problem of Roma and dealt with it. To me, the bigger problem was creating chances. Roma didn't create too many chances earlier on in the season. They preferred to sit back and patiently wait for an opportunity, but now they create those opportunities.
Now that they create more chances, the next step would be to press well. When they press better as a team, it will help the defense because this way defending starts from the attack and not the defense.

Winning the Europa league will be very difficult for Roma, I don't think they can, but I believe they'll do all they can in the competition. What they should focus on also is making it to the top 4 so they can play champions league football. With champions league football they'll be able to attract better players that can make them a better team. Making the top 4 is also going to be a very difficult task because the teams above them are not relaxing at all.
