 The game is currently at halftime and I must say it was an exciting first half to watch as both sides didn't spare each other in the aspect of goals with the first half producing a total of 5 goals, two from the hosts and three from Fiorentina and this leaves me to wonder why they (Fiorentina)couldn't play this way when they met Olympiakos in the Europa conference league final or is it because Atalanta are a familiar team or is that their luck just couldn't shine on them?
 You can say Atalanta are just having fun in the game because whether they win or not, they are already eligible for champions league next season but maybe will want to overthrow Juventus in third place just because they can do it and I'm hoping for a more exciting and goal filled second half.

I can't stop thinking that Atalanta, who seems to no longer take this match seriously, has wasted the opportunity to finish in 3rd place in the standings. For Fiorentina, the additional three points actually no longer mean anything, they are still in 8th place in the standings, Previously I predicted that Fiorentina would lose points, but it turns out they were able to create a surprise. I think Fiorentina's failure in the Confederation League final is easy to understand, because Olympiakos has better strength and more complete attributes.

However, overall Atalanta recorded an impressive season, managing to finish in the top four of the standings and becoming European League champions, Atalanta will automatically play in the Champions League next season. Although there are other teams that might also be contenders in the top four such as Atalanta, AS Roma and maybe also about Napoli, but I believe that Milan, Juventus and Inter will still be the top candidates. Because anyway, in my judgment atleast a team like Atalanta although it might be good at the beginning of the season, but slowly their performance will also decline. Because after all, sofar the team that has managed to compete strongly at the top of the standings has managed to maintain its consistency well throughout the season. Therefore, although in Serie A there are also many top teams but still, they always fail to be consistent throughout the season.

Top teams in the Serie A like Juventus, InterMilan, AC Milan are mostly known to always finish in good positions on the standings at the end of each season and the league trophy rotate mostly between them. When we had other teams like Napoli, AS Roma and also Atalanta that just came up this concluded season, we can see an inconsistent performance in them and they can’t be confidently vouch for to be league contenders until towards the end of the season if they maintain that consistency which we haven’t seen any of them but always on an average. Just look at the case of Napoli that won the league title last season and couldn’t even make it to the Europa league for next season.

If it is Inter Milan, I have no doubts for them even the next season to be league contenders again, they’ve proven for years to be amongst the best in the Serie A. Napoli’s performance this season might be poor but I still think they can do better next season to come out victorious and amongst top contenders for the league title.

I understand your disappointment. and actually, many people believe that Atalanta will win this match. But it all ended quite disappointingly. And the reason could indeed be as you have written. But the first half of the match was really a very exciting match. It's just that I started not enjoying it in the second half because Atalanta always lost their momentum. I was hoping to see Juventus hosting Conte and have the ghood days again with Conte again in Serie A like they had years ago. Since they couldn't get good results with Allegri, Conte might be a good option for them.
But maybe Napoli got more money and they maybe had a better situation to hire Conte for their team. Now I guess Juventus should start a new coach for the next season since they don't have a good situation in their team there are not many teams that want to work in Juventus and take this risk for the next season.
 

Next season will definitely be much more colorful because there will be so many changes in the coaches of each team in Serie A and the arrival of Conte to Serie A who will be Napoli's new coach is worth looking forward to. I think Napoli will have a much better performance than this season and with Conte I think that can be realized.

I'm wondering, haven't Juventus appointed Thiago Motta as coach? and isn't that good? considering that Thiago Motta has proven that he has brought Bologna to a top four finish this season and even though there is nothing to be proud of in terms of titles, I think he is still a good option. The rest we will see the results when the competition starts again.

Paolo Montero seems to be linked heavily with Juventus right now. Honestly, this is a new name to me. I do not know much about him. if I am not wrong he is actually the coach of Juventus Under 19. He also does not have any major experience with any big club. I will actually be very surprised if Juventus actually appoint him to be the manager of the Senior team. I hope Juventus is going to think about it clearly and make the right decision. Already a lot of things are not going their way. They are also facing a lot of problems in recent seasons. Appointing a coach who will not be able to bring in good results is not something they would want right now. If Paolo Montero is the new coach, honestly Allegri would have been better. At least since Juventus was able to make it to the third position in the table standing with the recorded point of 71, coming below AC Milan and Inter Milan was a pretty good but not impressive moves by them. But with this position, they were able to hold it to the Champions league against next season.

Inter Milan was able to do the BIG man thing this season with the torrent of goals they pulled through with an impressive 94 points to remain the Champions of the Serie A league with 19 points difference between them and AC Milan.

What do you expect from a team that already know where they are finishing at the end of the season, and a team that has already secured their Champions League spot for next season, and they have also won a European trophy this season. I didn’t blame them for given young players in the squad chance to play as well, and their performance is not too bad, just that Fiorentina wants a win and they get it.
On betting on such games, I think predicting direct wins for any of the team is risky and cannot give a better return; you should bet for goals instead.
