Nah you can't say that, a team like Juventus can not have a good squad and still perform poorly in the middle of the season, the team has got a lot of great players but there's no winning mentality and the motivation to return in good shape left the team since the middle of the season.

I don't think the poor performance of the Juventus team is completely the fault of the coach because they started off well with the same coach until they got to the middle of the season where they lost the motivation to win games and at the end they struggled till the end up the season without achieving a trophy. I think they need a good coach that will take the entire team back to the drawing board and motivate them and encourage the players to improve their performance because they can't get back to the new season the way they ended the last season because they may not be lucky to finish among the first 4 teams in the league. Yes you are absolutely right, unfortunately Italian teams do not have as much money as Real Madrid, Manchester city or Paris saint Germain. What you say is true, but regarding Serie A team which cannot match the finances of big team from other leagues, this has never been problem because basically Serie A can always produce potential and great players.
Financial aspect can indeed influence the team to be able to have every great player easily, but it doesn't necessarily mean that the players can play very well and make big contribution, this is where Serie A excels.
They were able to bring in several young players at prices that were not that expensive but within few years these young players could have extraordinary playing skills, this is why Serie A has team that has been able to win important competitions such as the UCL several times.

As a player he has a lot of experience and has achieved many achievements but as a coach he has not achieved much experience but he has a very tough challenge he has to coach a club as big as Juventus even though he has no experience in coaching a big club but if he feels capable and confident I hope it will produce good results. there is no need to doubt that from previous experience, Thiago Motta was able to provide good achievements for Bologna, which is usually never able to get a ticket to the UCL, but last season Thiago Motta successfully contributed to Bologna finishing in fifth position to get a ticket to the UCL and that ticket became one of the best gifts for Bologna but unfortunately had to be abandoned by Thiago Motta and accepted an offer from Juventus.

I hope he is able to bring about change, even though previously Juventus finished in third place it doesn't mean it's bad next season, Motta just continues and improves every line so that the game isn't monotonous and doesn't play too much defensively, at least there are role players that Motta can bring in  Next season, there should be a change in playing style because previously Juventus always played passing and defending, which is why Juventus always got bad results.
