I am really disappointed with Milan performance at the start of this season, even though they have only played 3 matches, the results have put Milan in a difficult situation and need to recover, especially the players seem to have lost their vision on the field. Losing motivation from their rivals who are actually showing good performance. Seeing Milan not yet winning is a disgrace as a favorite club. Last season they were runners up but now the challenge is getting harder considering that Juventus is able to become Inter competitor in the top of the standings.

Juventus are a good team and one of the biggest in the league so seeing them struggling doesn’t sit right, they need to be at their best always challenging for the title, winning cups. They now have a new coach so I expect a different performance from them, Motta have been good so far but it is difficult to say how good he will be as the season progresses, it’s a long season ahead and if they can maintain this performance they should end the season well or at least challenge for the title even if they don’t end up winning it. However, the record was not bad (W3 D1 L1). Home draw with Brescia and problems against weaker sides early in the league made it even more frustrating.

However, I do agree that supporters do need to be patient. A lot of new managers do need time to settle in and get their ideas across: AC Milan does have a strong squad. Lukaku presence in the club has actually improve the performance of the forward position compared to last season. Lukaku is really playing for what he was bought for. I don’t know how Napoli will be playing furthermore from now, but if they continue to play consistently, I believe they’ll be a major contender this season for the top four in the Serie A. Last season was not on a good note for them and they missed out of the European competition, so they will have enough time to focus on their league matches and come out better at the end of the season. The absence of Osimehn is not felt much by them since they had a replacement for him and he’s also playing very well to put the team ahead in the league matches. Consistency matters now and I hope they can be able to remain consistent till the end of the season because that’s the only way they can prove their best in the league this season.

True, Juventus seem to be a team that gets into trouble  quite often when compared to Inter, Milan and some of the other top teams in Serie A. But even so, Juventus always manages to recover and even though indeed,Juventus also needs time to be able to recover. But the great thing is, Juventus still looks easy to get the players and or coaches they want and thus, the recovery can happen well and maybe quickly too.

So indeed, with Juventus new manager this season seems to be a sign of Juventus rise to dominate Serie A again. Juventus have faced many challenges, but they still manage to make it to the Champions League. I am a fan of Massimiliano Allegri because of his dedication to Juventus. When the club was having point deduction problems, he had the opportunity to leave Juventus and move to Saudi Arabia, where he would have been one of the highest-paid coaches. But he decided to stay with Juventus and fight for a European slot. I am surprised he was sacked after all the good work he did in Juventus. Thiago Motta has  a UEFA Pro Licence which means he is qualified for the job. Winning two games and drawing one in three games is not a bad result. The team is still blending; we should be expecting them to improve as the league games keep commencing.
