I agree with you. Roma needed to get points against a big team like Napoli at the moment. Roma's performance has been erratic for a long time. This team was not even in the top 10 of the points table. In such a situation, Roma played well against a team like Napoli who is at the top of the table and got points. I thought has much too that Napoli will be comfortable in that top since Inter have end the match in draw which was a narrow escape for them because the goal came in the extra time which is very dangerous sometimes. Napoli failed to get all 3 points following the1:1 draw they played out against AS Roma, Napoli deserved victory in the game because of their good display and better performance but seeing how AS Roma was able to get a draw against Napoli shows the improvement in the team despite their inconsistent performance in the league. AS Roma may even get a bad result in their next game if they play against a team that matches their energy, Napoli wouldn't have played a 1:1 draw if not because of their over confidence in the game knowing that they have a better squad than Roma.

Napoli couldn't even find a proper position in the match. Roma was the effective team throughout the match and managed to draw the match with a beautiful goal in extra time. Napoli may have a better squad but Roma showed with the way they played that they shouldn't be underestimated. Roma was the side that played the ball better and went on the offensive against Napoli. In my opinion, they should have at least drawn the match and they actually got what they deserved.

Lazio remains a difficult opponent for Cagliari, because Cagliari very often get defeated when playing against Lazio whether it's a home match or away. There is not much pressure that Roma might put on when facing Napoli and I see Roma tending to play safe to get a draw. Unfortunately, Italian teams have not been able to win the Champions League, the last time an Italian team won the Champions League was more than 10 years ago and the last time Juventus won the Champions League was more than 20 years ago and I don't see Juventus being able to win the Champions League again.

If there is going to be a team that comes close to winning the CL from the Serie A it's going to be Inter in the next few years, not Juventus nor Milan, they simply lack what it takes on too many levels while in case of Inter is just improving, that could be achievable n the right context.
