I will assume that Inter Milan is distracted by the UEFA Champions League, where it is on the verge of qualifying for the the quarter-finals. They have not been doing badly considering that they have won two game and also lost two in five games. But the game against Monza is very important because a loss might end up making them lose the top spot since Napoli is closely pursuing them. Winning the game is as important as beating Feyenoord in the second leg of the UCl second round.

Inter can't really be distracted with the Champions League game, they are focused on the league too, so they will surely win their game tonight against Monza. Looking at the champions league, they have already secured a first leg victory away from home 2 - 0, so in this tie they have the the upper hand already and they are aware of it. They are also aware that Napoli is right behind them, any slip up from them will alter the league table as it stands between first and second.

The amazing part of the match today is that the team just looks more serious after been two goals down, they stated mounted more pressure until they get a goal through own goal from Lecce defender Antonioni Gallo, and that goal encouraged them and they completed the comeback within 15 minutes and after then, they keep it up till the final whistle.

This win has moved Milan to the right position in the Seria A table, if they can keep good form, they can still make top four because they are just seven points away from the fourth team Juventus, and if they keep performing well, they can make it there even though they have the likes of Napoli in their next two games.

For quite some time now I dont see AC Milan as a serious team again, they have lost 8matches with 41 points and at the moment they are on the 8th position in the league standings after As Roma, having played 27 matches so far in the league, the bad performance of AC Milan has persisted so as it is, I  don't expect anything from them in that match because they may end up messing up again

AC Milan got a streak of bad matches and results, hence they already fell below AS Roma after the last weekend. Fortunately, they are still in a situation that can compete for top six, but if they continue having bad matches and results week by week, top six will become farther and impossible mission for them.

There is high risk for AC Milan that they will not finish this season with any high enough rank for being eligible with a slot to Europe even just UEFA Conference League next season. They will have to return to several years ago when they had to built up their squad and slowly increased its strength and competitiveness. It seems that cycle is coming back for AC Milan.

At the start of the season, like after the first 20 weeks, if you told people that Milan would be under Roma, people would mock you. Atalanta and Juventus are very close to Napoli, if Napoli ends up losing or getting a tie, they would be risking the second place as well.

For a team that had a chance to win the whole thing, not even being second place will hurt a lot without a doubt. We have to look at it from a realistic stand point, while of course Inter could lose and Napoli could win and be the leader, there is also a chance where Napoli could finish this season as low as fourth place. It was quite painful when they were able to immediately press Lecce's defense at the start of the match and managed to release a shot that was able to tear Lecce's goal, it was very unfortunate that the referee had to validate the goal. and the most painful thing, only 5 minutes later Lecce managed to break through AC Milan's goal which made the score 1-0. There was euphoria because they were able to equalize the score, but again the referee annulled the goal because it was considered invalid.

and in the second half, AC Milan players really showed their sharpness in carrying out attacks. Finally, AC Milan managed to stop their negative trend in the last few weeks which always failed to get full points.  Even though Lecce scored a goal quickly in the 7th minute, fortunately in the second half AC Milan were really able to turn things around very well. Even though AC Milan really dominated the match, the match was really tense. because in the second half Lecce also scored their second goal in the match first, namely in the 59th minute. AC Milan could be said to be quite lucky because they also got the opportunity to kick a penalty in that match. Even though I don't feel like they have really improved, I think this victory can be a breath of fresh air to restore their team spirit so they can play better in the next matches.

I also don't understand what is actually happening within the Napoli team that has caused their performance to decline recently. And if they fail to get full points again in today's match then it will really be a nightmare for them. Because Inter Milan will succeed in making a distance from Napoli. So Napoli have no choice but to win if they want to continue to compete fiercely in the race for the title this season. Yes, Monza attacked relatively well and took the lead in the first half of the game with their strong attack. Inter were trailing at that time but at half time the score was 2-1 with Monza leading. But in the second half Inter attacked strongly which gave them more confidence and they equalized the match. But Monza were unlucky to lost the points, after an own goal in the 77th minute Inter could collect 3 points because of that goal. However, Inter are at the top of the points table and they will definitely have to perform their best this season to maintain their position.
