The exciting Competition in Serie A with the final two matches remaining is undoubtedly the battle for a place in next season champions league. Roma is one of the teams that has performed brilliantly in their last five matches, collecting points and catching up with the teams above them.

I believe Roma will qualify for next season champions league. They are gaining confidence because the teams above them have not performed Consistently in the remaining matches, Which is certainly an advantage for them.

Of course, napoli will also be under threat, given their close points gap. However, I don't see napoli under pressure because they can secure a champions league spot next Season. However, I think Ac milan position is starting to be threatened because roma continues to chase them.

Let’s be honest, serie a has dropped a lot in quality lately, and Inter, without changing much of the squad, were still really strong this season. Chivu came in as a replacement for Inzaghi, who pretty much ran away after losing the final. He took over a good team that had lost confidence after the defeat against PSG, but he managed to get them back on the right track. In serie a, only a few teams could really compete with them

Surely this is a far cry from what Serie A used to be in the '90s and '00s but the positive thing is that we've seen several different teams winning the title over the years. So at least it's interesting. Let's take a look at the other leagues: in Germany we already know that 99% Bayern Munich are going to win; in France it's always the PSG; in Spain it's either Real Madrid or Barcelona; and in England there is a little more competition but usually Manchester City win pretty often.

I agree with that, in the other leagues it’s usually the same teams winning the titles over and over again. In serie a we’ve had some really interesting title races for many years now. Since 2023, when Napoli won the title, the league became even more interesting to me because it was a real rollercoaster. The next season they finished 10th in the table, and then in 2025 they won the title again. So serie a is definitely entertaining, but when we talk about overall quality, it has dropped quite a lot

I am happy that you followed your instinct and bet only on BTTS because Napoli would have disappointed you. Bologna took the lead 2-0 and in the second half, Napoli was able to equalize the goals but couldn't hold on till the final whistle as they allowed Bologna to score the winning goal which separated both sides.

It was a real surprise because before the match, I had favored Napoli because it was at home. But the last-minute goal immediately made Napoli resigned to the outcome, as there was no time to respond. And because of Napoli's defeat, the race for the top two to four positions is now looking even more intense until the end of the season. I haven’t being any excited with the way AC Milan performed in lost of their games. They’ve never played as though they are hungry for it, there is usually a lot of uncertainty about their fixtures unlike the likes of Inter. They’ve never played were the very dominant side in the league this season and winning the league early with well enough points showed it.

Unlike AC Milan, I think Roma would present a much better performance if they go through.

Indeed Napoli's performance has declined slightly midway through this season making it understandable that they are currently in second place in the Serie A standings.
However for me Napoli is one of the most respected teams in the competition. If their performance hadn't declined yesterday they would certainly be in second place now even though they are in second place. Clearly their points gap with Inter isn't as far as it is now with a 15-point difference. In their remaining matches they will capitalize on the extra points to end the season with a win.

That's true because all teams can make mistakes especially since the teams below Napoli are teams with similar strengths. This means they can also end this season with the results they want. Apart from this season champions, the rest teams on the 2nd-5th position on the table have not safely secured a spot in the Champions League next season because of the tiny point difference they are using to gap each other. Assuming, Milan can win the rest of their matches, I will say their qualification is sure but nobody knows what will happen next.

You're right and of course no manager will have the opportunity to win 2 trophies and not want to take them both. So I think Chivu will definitely want to win both trophies to make his first season more decorative.
Inter Milan has always been good and one of the title contenders but so maybe Chivu didn't do anything special but let's see how he will perform in his second season. If he performs well then they should hold him tight. That was how Liverpool signed Slot and he did well in his first season but became one the worst teams this season.

Yes, Milan plays like crap, and I'm saying this as a fan that is disappointed to the max on the team but:
-Milan beat Roma once and drew once
-Milan beat Como and drew once
-Both games with Juventus ended 0-0
-They won 2-1 and lost 1-0 with Napoli

If they end up equal on points with Roma or Como, they would be ahead in the standings.
1 win and one draw is enough to keep ahead of Como even if Como wins both matches.

Milan plays Genoa and Cagliari, 14th and 16th.
Juventus plays Fiorentina and Torino, 12th and 15th.
Roma plays Lazio and Verona, 9th and 19th, but Lazio would love to screw their rivals in that match!
Como plays Parma and Cremonese, 13th and 18th, with Cremonese desperate for points to avoid relegation.

Only Milan and Juventus meet teams that have nothing to play for, and Milan faces the weaker ones!

I think the final should be treated differently, because if you look at the lineup that Chivu has used in cup, he always applies squad rotation. And honestly, even though many coaches give backup players a chance in cup matches or even in finals, I would like to see the strongest possible Inter lineup today and for them to win. The placement in Seria A is decided by head-to-head results first, and Milan is ahead of Roma and will always be on same points. Roma can have a +100000 goal difference, but they would not pass them at same points.
Milan beat them 1-0 and draw 1-1, they have the advantage.
Same with Milan, Como, Milan beat them 3-1 and draw 1-1, again at the same points they will be ahead.


I thought the head-to-head tiebreaker only existed in the Turkish league. There's no such thing in the Premier League. I thought Serie A was similar to the Premier League.
There are two matches left, and I think the league will end with the points difference without considering head-to-head tiebreakers.
