The habit of average teams that are growing is selling their players first money thinking that they can get some average players that will perform at that same level with their players, and this is mostly why they failed because these players that lead the team to the same level they are now are capable of doing the same thing and more than what they have did if more quality players are added to the team.

But the case of Como might be different if Cess Fabregas remain their head coach, he will encourage the owners and management to keep signing more players to encourage the team so that they can compete again next season in Serie A.

Most average teams are not there to win trophies, they are mainly focused on business. We have seen many examples of this before, and that is why once another team brings a reasonable offer to sign their players, they easily accept it. That is what affects many average teams and prevents them from being consistent, because most of them hardly get the same level of quality players as the ones they sell.Just as you said, I hope Como do not face the same problem that many average clubs have faced by dropping in form. Now that some big clubs are looking to sign some of their players, if they sell those players, it is possible that they will not be able to perform well next season. At the stage Como are now, they do not need to sell any of their key players before signing more players if they truly want to do well next season.They will be playing in the Champions League next season, as well as other competitions, so adding more quality players to strengthen the team is what they should focus on. If possible, Fabregas should encourage the management to sign the players he wants, because most average teams are not always financially strong.

It's such a shame that right now, during World Cup fever, one of the European leagues doesn't have its country represented in the World Cup. It's very ironic—Italy, as the center of football with a competitive league, failed to make it to the World Cup. It seems like there’s a problem that needs to be addressed in their league system. If not, Serie A might get worse, and Italy might not qualify for the next World Cup either.

Perhaps it's because the Italian game refuses to adapt to more practical and modern tactics. They still maintain their old catenaccio style, which is no longer relevant because it relies solely on defense. Pragmatic play isn't wrong, but perhaps it needs some tweaks, such as defensive play, but there needs to be positional rotation with quick transitions, plus a false nine, quick counters, long-range shooting, long throws, and a variety of non-open play attacks. If this continues, the regeneration of the league system and youth development will be somewhat delayed. Hopefully, with new personnel from the FIGC, they can improve by improving the league system and scouting talented players. The national team can only thrive if the league produces many talented players.

Furthermore, Italian football may still be a long way off, as they are still trapped in the Serie A romance of the 90s and early 2000s. One way to do this is to undergo a rebuilding phase, first with the organizational structure, the mindset of the coaches,] and the club owners. This means the players' playing style and mentality are improving even strengthening as evidenced by past experiences with Germany and France. If all of this is changed and addressed, Italy will likely return to the next World Cup.

Actually, Italy could have qualified, but unfortunately they played poorly. They don't have as many quality players as they used to. Therefore, they need to be a bit more careful and return to the strong defense we're used to seeing from Italy. We might see stronger defenses in the Italian league next year, because I think teams will now play in that direction.

Italy couldn't qualify because of their performance not because they don't have the quality players like before, the problem with the team is that they didn't take the qualifying matches seriously so when they realized themselves they were already late and couldn't qualify again. Lack of early preparation is one of the things that affected them but now that it's clear to them watch what's going to happen with the new set of players that will be joining the team you will see how serious they will become during their qualifying matches they do not need to have all the best defenders to be strong.

It's really worrying to watch the downfall of the Serie A. Maybe they are still among top European leagues but I doubt they are in top 3 at the moment. 

Unfortunately, of the Serie A teams, only Inter has any hope of going far in the European Champions League. The rest of the Serie A teams won't go far. They'll earn money for qualifying, but even so, they won't improve their squads enough to fight for a place in the Champions League. I don't know what level of poverty the Serie A teams have reached to have declined so much that they no longer fight to win the European Champions League. It's really sad to see the Serie A teams without the motivation to fight to win the European Champions League.

Roma should be getting better, they did not look that bad but they looked gtassed by the end, and I feel like they are going to do better next season. They need some depth, when some of their good players are injured, the gap between their good best eleven and then bench is bigger than what other teams have.

You do not get best 11 players and then all 11 get injured, they get like 2-3 players missing, but the bench are so much worse than starters that suddenly they become like a very bad team, so they need better subs on the long term and this summer they should be looking into that. I would say, it's a busy summer if they want to get better, because I would say between 2 or 3 good players for starters and around 3 or 4 bench players is minimum what they need, and that would be like hundred million, so I doubt it would happen.

Como did extremely well last season nobody expected cesc fabregas to take como to the champions league after newly getting promoted serie A. Well i believe they will perform well again this season but since they will playing in many competition they also needed to sign in some players and add some quality players too since they are now in the uefa champions league so that while some players are playing some are also taking some rest to avoid getting exhausted before the half of the season.

I don't think there's any need to hesitate if the management is willing to give Fabregas the space to find the new players the team needs. They will also be competing in several competitions meaning they need players who are mentally and physically prepared to fully contribute to Como next season. This is to anticipate the criticism that many people have of Como as merely a passing game in competitions they have already achieved. I firmly believe that if Fabregas can do this freely this team will certainly be one to be reckoned with by opponents when other teams face Como.

But that won't happen to Como because it all depends on the relationship between the coach and the players. Something like what you mentioned could happen and it happens to many other teams, too. Some players are too egotistical as if they're bigger than the team which led them to fail to win a single title last season. Everyone probably knows which team experienced that.
The more competitions you participate in the more demanding the match schedule becomes. As I said earlier you need players who are ready and able to contribute to Como. That's my goal. Because of the numerous competitions, players must be more prepared both mentally and physically to face a sometimes-constrained schedule. They must be ready and able to contribute to Como.

Unfortunately, of the Serie A teams, only Inter has any hope of going far in the European Champions League. The rest of the Serie A teams won't go far. This is a shame because Serie A has AC Milan, which has the Champions League DNA, but over the decades, this team has lost its ability to compete with other teams, both domestically and outside of Serie A.

The season hasn't started therefore, you shouldn't underestimate other clubs because we might see these big teams is their best performance since, a lot of them have bought new players and got a new coach. I agree with you that Inter is the favorite but I cannot say if Como will be a good runner up for Inter next season.

Your point of view seems perfect. There is no doubt that como has played incredibly  well this season. But they have only  performed in serie A. Next season, the team will play in serie A and the champions league. It is undoubtedly very difficult to perform well  on both platforms.

Also, Como's players do not have previous experience playing in a busy schedule. There is a possibility of injuries to many players in the coming season. So como's management will  definitely have to spend  money and strengthen the squad. Even then , there is no doubt that it will be very difficult for como to stay in the top  4 of the table again.

I, on the other hand, think that if Como manages to find some even stronger players to include in the team they will certainly be able to make the leap in quality with the other strongest teams in Europe, i believe that this is truly possible and i believe that the moment where they must take advantage is right now and they must do it immediately.

Como's match fixtures this season were all domestic games but since they were able to finish in the top four of the Italian Serie A, they'll be playing in the biggest club competition next season alongside the domestic games and that I think will be too challenging for them to still finish in the top four of the league next season since most of their players haven't played a UCL game in their career.
However,  Cesc Fabregas has shown that he's got all the coaching experience that's needed to push Como to have a better campaign than what we saw this season. If they can sign some players with quality, I think they can still be very competitive next season

Yes, i believe that the club is more than willing to practically give carte blanche to Fabregas given that he has done an exceptional job with the como, it is his creation and i don't think he will break away from it so easily, it was certainly a beautiful fairy tale, going to Europe is an incredible thing for such a small team.

Fabregas still has much to accomplish with Como. He has instilled a desire for success in the players, and they want to stay at Como next year. They love the competition in the Italian league and will face tough matches in the Champions League. This is a golden opportunity for them. Perhaps we can say a new team is being born in Italy. Their performance this year impressed me greatly.

this year will just be a transition period for them, and it's just a moment, they will need it to create a team where they will also be able to compete in Europe, many of the players they have will leave, I'm sure of it, and they will find a very strong team as they always have, and they will return to winning the Champions League.

If Como is looking at a better season ahead,  then just like you have said, now is the best time for them to make the necessary moves they will need to strengthen the team and give  them the form to compete at their very best next season,  I will be glad to see them bring about some extraordinary competition in the Serie A next season,  where even Inter Milan and the likes of other top teams will have a strong rival competing for the title.

And i say this to say, what a shame it was the other day to see Bosnia being destroyed by Swisterland and thinking about in that place it has to be Italy, what a disaster it was them not reaching the world cup.
