This question is actually very natural where in big clubs there are many coach dismissals before the half-term League runs, this is a question to predict, not a pessimistic so real.

I also believe enough with Amorim that he will definitely give a change at least in the position of the standings that can be achieved by AC Milan before to a better position, last they could only reach the 5th position in the standings in hand and actually it was much better than the previous season after that which could only reach the 8th position in the standings and in the 2024-2025 season 2 times change coach, then Allegri improved it and could reach the fifth position yesterday, and now hope Amorim can be the best answer for AC Milan.
Personally, I’m quite optimistic about Amorim’s ability to lead AC Milan to improved performance and better results in Serie A. After all, in the upcoming season, AC Milan will only be competing in the domestic league and the Europa League. And the pressure in the Europa League shouldn’t be as intense as it is in the Champions League. So the Europa League might serve as a proving ground for Amorim’s quality.

When Amorim coached Sporting Lisbon, everything went very well. The same was true at Manchester United. So I think he’ll achieve equally good results at AC Milan. AC Milan just needs to be more patient to see better results.

It all depends on the level of performances he shows at AC Milan next season whether he will be sacked. If his performances are not that bad, AC Milan may be patient with him to see further reasons to give him another season. But if Amorim's season is too bad, like his experience at Manchester United, he will probably be sacked because that is a sign that he could worsen the condition of the team, which could even make AC Milan lose some sponsors and even some fans.

Yes, we can't fully judge Amorim based on the preseason matches, but let not forget that despite preseason matches being friendly matches for warming up the players, a team that will perform at a high level will not continue to experience poor results in their preseason matches.in fact, right from the period I heard that AC Milan appointed him as their new manager, I wasn't expecting much from him at AC Milan. If it were another less competitive league, I might say he would likely do better, but let's just see what is going to happen when the season starts.

Agree. Things haven't been great for Amorim at Milan so far, but I think a healthy dose of reality is important. AC Milan is a big team who have lost their glory in recent times. When Amorim was appointed as head coach at Milan, he rebuilt the culture, created a competitive environment, and changed everything. That takes time to lay a good foundation for the club. So I pray that Amorim doesn't fail after spending a lot. I just imagine having Maldini at this point when the ownership has decided to invest. I tell you, Maldini would have put Milan on the same level as PSG in terms of team quality.

this is hilarious, what then are you insinuating? They should get rid of Amorim to appoint Maldini? Like why are you guys being this quick to judge, this is just a preseason games and you guys are already in conclusion that Ruben Amorim can't handle the job, I understand where you guys are hitting at, based on his past experiences with Manchester United, but why not we all wait for the season to start then we can judge, like I still very much believe in Ruben Amorim despite the lose, I still believe he can deliver on this job.

Ruben amurim have proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is a good coach and will never stop showing even with the current challenge he is facing now.
Of a truth in his first game at AC Milan he suffered a terrible defeat but that doesn't mean he is a bad coach and will not do well if the chance is given to him,  all he needs now is time and the commitment of his players because it is not easy adapting to a new game pattern one do not know.
We all no friendly games are different from tournament games, so if they do not do well now I will suggest we wait till when the league starts to see if he will do better then.

I'm happy because in my opinion it would be the case that more foreign coaches arrived in Serie A to give a vision of football different from the solitary Serie A. We have already seen this only with Fabregas, who by coaching Como gave greater flexibility to the team and greater offensiveness. i would still give Amorim some time without arguing too much. All the other teams coached by Italian coaches are much more inclined towards tradition. A more drastic change in the benches would be needed.

When Amorim coached Sporting Lisbon, everything went very well. The same was true at Manchester United. So I think he’ll achieve equally good results at AC Milan. AC Milan just needs to be more patient to see better results.

It’s easier to manage in Portugal than in the major European leagues. Moreover, Amorim chose teams that weren’t well established and needed to be rebuilt in terms of mentality and consistency; unfortunately, at Manchester United he didn’t manage to achieve much, in fact, he got caught up in a downward spiral that led to his sacking. Milan is the same, or rather, worse a great European club whose last truly successful manager was Carlo Ancelotti, but back then it was a different kind of club with a different mindset to the one it has today. Good luck to Amorim, but I don’t see him as the right manager.

He actually achieved far better results with Sporting than he did with Manchester United during his time as manager. He set a record, the lowest win percentage among permanent Manchester United managers in the Premier League era, out of 63 matches, he won only 24, drew 18, and lost 21. So, things weren't as good at Manchester United as they were at Sporting, and that's why he was sacked. So far I haven't been impressed with the results of the friendly matches Milan has played with Amorim as head coach.

I'd like to thank Juventus so much. They didn't extend Vlahovic's contract, thanks to them we got him for free. Grin I wish them all the best, I hope they win the Serie A title this season.

I haven't been following Juve much lately, but I tried to keep up with the latest news. It looks like they're going to sign a center back and a goalkeeper. They have Kolo Muani, a top-tier striker. From that perspective, it makes sense that they let Vlahovic go. They could have kept Openda on the team, but they've loaned him out again. They can build a good team, they fell behind last season so they need to get back in the title race.
As a Juventus supporter I can tell you I'm not going to miss him. Besiktas chose to accept his (crazy) offers, and probably the main reason Besiktas signed the player is because of the coach, Italiano, who already trained Vlahovic during his time with Fiorentina. If it wasn't for him, probably not even Besiktas would have been interested in signing him.
Vlahovic never quite succeeded at Juventus. He had a much better time at Fiorentina, and he couldn't replicate that successful period. I think he's lucky because the Italiano can use him as he wants at Beşiktaş. He was one of the types of strikers Beşiktaş was looking for. Although the Dusan Vlahovic transfer was expensive, Beşiktaş needed a good player while their rivals had players like Salah, Greenwood, Lukaku, and Osimhen, and that's exactly what happened.
Fiorentina was a different environment: very little pressure, no need to win any trophy, fans would forgive any mistake... When you go to a big club everything is different. Vlahovic is simply a decent player who got lucky because Juventus were desperate for a striker and they accepted all his and Fiorentina's requests. As soon as I read the numbers I knew they really screwed up.

Ruben has just joined AC Milan and hasn't shown much so far... so it feels too soon to say that he'll be kicked out of AC Milan so quickly. so, yes, we'll have to wait and see how Milan performs over the next few months before we can tell whether Amorim can lead AC Milan into the top three, or if they'll actually sink even lower in the standings. however, looking at Serie A which is not very competitive, I still have the feeling that Amorim can improve AC Milan's performance.

I think Amorim is a really good coach. He did really well with Sporting, and i think that going to coach a team like Manchester United, very confused, which comes from periods of lows and highs, but perhaps lower, is not an easy thing for anyone. It's no coincidence that they've changed several coaches, and i don't think it's just the coaches' fault that the team hasn't done well in recent years. So blaming Amorim would not be correct. i think Milan can definitely do better.

Managers in the Netherlands and Portugal generally don't adapt very well to those in other European countries. The only exception, I think, is Jose Mourinho. He's a Portuguese manager who had very successful periods at both Chelsea and Real Madrid. He could be considered a living legend among managers right now. However, I can't say the same for Ruben Amorim. Still, we shouldn't be prejudiced before seeing Milan's position in the Italian league. Pre-season matches aren't the most important thing, but the poor performance in those matches has lowered our expectations for him.

Mitchell Carrick has proven that the main problem of Manchester United was the lack of a good coach. I would not call Ruben Amrim a bad coach, he has good statistics. Maybe he failed to meet the expectations of a high-level team like Manchester United. Carrick quickly transformed the Manchester United he left behind and qualified for the Champions League. How did Mitchell Carrick manage with the same players? That is, the main problem of Manchester United was the lack of a good coach, it cannot be denied.

The failure started with Ten Hag, he left Manchester United in a very bad position. From there, Amorim brought him to a somewhat better position, but he was not completely successful. For now, we can call Carrick successful, the upcoming season is the main test for him.

We would only wait to see what decision the Belgian would take concerning his future and where to play next season. It possible that the former Manchester United and Chelsea striker would choose Fernebache and if that happens it would mean that the player is still interested in playing at the highest level in Europe if he chooses the Turkish side, but in a situation where ends up making a move to the MLS then it means he might be getting close to the end of his playing career because the MLS has now become a destination for players whom are at the finishing point.

He has to choose where to go and i hope for him that he makes a good choice, if he goes to Fernebache he can continue to play at a good level and play important matches. If instead you choose to go to the MLS it means that he wants to play more relaxed and he knows that his career is at the end, he will want to earn as much as possible.

Are you a fan of Beşiktaş? You are the first person I've ever seen being the fan of the club, especially on a Serie A thread. Perhaps you are a Turkish? The club is not a bad club though, they are doing well in their own capacity. As for Dušan Vlahović, best of luck to him, but I don't think Juventus would miss him a bit, and they could even do better this season without him. His last moments at the club is not so encouraging.

I'm here for more than a decade, maybe you should spend more time in Gambling Discussion section. Grin

Considering that Juventus paid 85.4 million Euro for him, signing him for free is an incredible move. His salary is 8 million Euro per year for 3 years, which could rise to 10 million with bonuses. The management worked on the transfer for nearly 2 months but ultimately succeeded.
I checked his previous contract, Vlahovic was earning 12 million Euro at Juve on his last year, but including taxes his total cost to the club was 22 million Euro. I'm still amazed at how we managed to get him for such a bargain. He'll get much less now.

I tried to watch Juventus' games last season mostly because of Kenan Yıldız, they're putting together a stronger squad this year. I hope Kolo Muani does well too. I miss watching Juve that can compete for the championship.

A few considerations: Vlahovic had a contract with yearly salary increases, that's why last year he was earning that much money. It was an exceptionally high salary for Italian standards. During his renewal negotiations he was asking for the same amount of money, he never wanted to step back, so Juventus refused to keep discussing the possible renewal. At the same time his father/agent was proposing his son all over Europe but, again, because of his insanely high requests nobody was interested in him. He is a good player but he thinks too much about him. So basically at the end he found himself with only one offer, Besiktas', and probably he understood that nobody else was going to give him 8 millions per year.
I wish you/Besiktas the best because Besiktas is my favorite Turkish team (probably because we share the same team colors) but to Vlahovic, well, it's difficult for me to wish him well...

Juventus took so long before realising how unwanted this Dusan Vlahovic is to the club which was why they lost in the deal because leaving him until now and letting him go as a free agent still amazes me. His last season in the club must have been the last eye opener for the club which was why they decided that he either accepts a pay cut or his contract won't be renewed. Most of these players are more focused on what they gain than helping their clubs if not, why couldn't he analyse his stay in the club to see that he has contributed almost little or nothing since his arrival compared to the amount he was signed as a striker.

Anyways, it's a win-win for both the him and the clubs even though Juventus lost the opportunity to make any money from his transfer. Vlahovic on the other side would be happier at Besiktas since they met his salary request, so yeah I think he would perform better at Besiktas compared to what he did in his Juventus days.

this is hilarious, what then are you insinuating? They should get rid of Amorim to appoint Maldini? Like why are you guys being this quick to judge, this is just a preseason games and you guys are already in conclusion that Ruben Amorim can't handle the job, I understand where you guys are hitting at, based on his past experiences with Manchester United, but why not we all wait for the season to start then we can judge, like I still very much believe in Ruben Amorim despite the lose, I still believe he can deliver on this job.

I think there's a misunderstanding here. I talk about Paolo Maldini, not Cesare Maldini, and what I mean is that if only Paolo Maldini were still serving as Milan's Technical Director. The collaboration between Paolo Maldini, who has a sharp vision for squad building, and Ruben Amorim, a modern coach with strong character, has great potential to lead AC Milan to long-term success. And I don't want to compare Amorim's time at United and now because the Premier League and Serie A are two different competitions. Personally, I think Amorim will compete in Serie A.

As a football fan, i am still happy that, even if on a free transfer, he freed us from such a high and above all so undeserved salary.

Taking 12 million a season for performances and missed goals in front of goal is truly madness. There are players who take less and do much more.

For me Vlahovic was, after Fiorentina, helpful in some cases, but in the overall period just enough.

I think Fenerbahce decision to sign Lukaku was spot-on; I don't view it as a long-term transfer, but rather as a "win-win solution." €6 million plus bonuses is a bargain for a player of Lukaku caliber, if he fails, Fenerbahce losses won't be significant, but if he manages to raise his game, the club stands to make a huge profit. Another reason they are recruiting Lukaku is the need for an experienced, physically strong striker with the big-match mentality required for competitions like those in Europe, Lukaku still possesses everything Fenerbahce needs. Lukaku also needs a club that can offer him a leading role to cap off his career in style, at Fenerbahce, he would be the primary striker and main source of goals, unlike at Napoli, where competition in the attack is fierce.

Let's say that the fact of still being able to sign a player like Lukaku, who if in form can absolutely make the difference for the modest sum of 6 million, is a deal. But we also need to look at the medical side, the injury side and the playing time side. He is a player who is struggling, he managed to return in the last part of the season and who if Fenerbahçe were to manage to bring home, they would have to manage very carefully.

Milan has decided to pursue the path of destruction, sending away Massimiliano Allegri who had done everything possible with the players he had shows how short-sighted the Milan managers are and therefore obviously everything is going to pieces
we're heading straight for disaster, without even passing through the start line.

If he were a champion I could understand his demands, but he's never won anything, so why does he ask for so much?
Sooner or later he will have to settle for the economic conditions that the various clubs will present, taking it or leaving it will be his choice alone

economic choices are things that don't concern him, so he must now accept everything that happens to him, because then if he accepts and things go well, he can raise or return and go to a club where he can earn much more, his is just a choice of intelligence, nothing more he must understand immediately.

I also ask that Vlahovic, in reality, as a finisher, sinned a lot at Juve, especially in the last meters, while at Fiorentina he was an absolute bomber. What changed between the two teams? Fiorentina was a very offensive team that always took the game into the opponent's midfield, while Juve in recent years has always been a more attentive and defensive team, giving Vlahovic less opportunity to express his game.

If it were another less competitive league, I might say he would likely do better, but let's just see what is going to happen when the season starts.

is something that is now done with all coaches who coach a high-level team. He is never given the opportunity or time to demonstrate his game. Many clubs expect that after two or three matches the results will come out and that they will be continuous, but unfortunately this is not the case. Managing a team and making your own impact requires a lot of time and patience, something that today's football doesn't allow you.
