Juventus took so long before realising how unwanted this Dusan Vlahovic is to the club which was why they lost in the deal because leaving him until now and letting him go as a free agent still amazes me. His last season in the club must have been the last eye opener for the club which was why they decided that he either accepts a pay cut or his contract won't be renewed. Most of these players are more focused on what they gain than helping their clubs if not, why couldn't he analyse his stay in the club to see that he has contributed almost little or nothing since his arrival compared to the amount he was signed as a striker.

Anyways, it's a win-win for both the him and the clubs even though Juventus lost the opportunity to make any money from his transfer. Vlahovic on the other side would be happier at Besiktas since they met his salary request, so yeah I think he would perform better at Besiktas compared to what he did in his Juventus days.

I think that for that amount Juve would have found even more important attacking players in the Premier League. Vlahovic demands a crazy amount for what he has shown on the pitch. So even if Juve lost him on a free transfer and consequently had a significant costly loss, it would have been worse now to renew his contract with a compensation of an absurd magnitude for the player.

Managers in the Netherlands and Portugal generally don't adapt very well to those in other European countries. The only exception, I think, is Jose Mourinho. He's a Portuguese manager who had very successful periods at both Chelsea and Real Madrid. He could be considered a living legend among managers right now. However, I can't say the same for Ruben Amorim. Still, we shouldn't be prejudiced before seeing Milan's position in the Italian league. Pre-season matches aren't the most important thing, but the poor performance in those matches has lowered our expectations for him.

One thing I think about Amorim is that he deserves more time from AC Milan. Considering that Juventus paid 85.4 million Euro for him, signing him for free is an incredible move. His salary is 8 million Euro per year for 3 years, which could rise to 10 million with bonuses. The management worked on the transfer for nearly 2 months but ultimately succeeded.

Mitchell Carrick has proven that the main problem of Manchester United was the lack of a good coach. I would not call Ruben Amrim a bad coach, he has good statistics. Yes I watched their preseason and definitely Como have some potential but the problem I discovered in Como is their keeper, although is not wrong for him to give pass to his defense but instead of the side defenders were their mistakes cannot results a gaol easily he is always giving the pass to their centre back even when he doesn't have space and because of that Eze could have scored him if it was a real match because he gave Gabriel instead of taking the strike and it was the same thing Como keeper did before Arsenal scored so actually Como has peaked form but there are still team in Serie A they may not be performing enough to win.

I fully agree with you; basing our views solely on Ruben Amorim’s less-than-impressive track record from previous jobs is rather simplistic.
We must bear in mind, however, that these pre-season matches are merely indicators – but for the manager himself, not for the fans. As things stand, Milan’s first-team line-up hasn’t even taken to the pitch yet.
Personally, I’d wait until at least November before forming an opinion.

Amorim would have so much to prove at his new club right now and we don't expect to see an immediate impact in the team just yet. With the new signings, it would be a good improvement to the team squad depth but that would not be enough to sustain them for next season competitions.

The major position that is needed for the team right now should be the defense, maybe a little more experienced defenders would give the team more potential for competition next season.

Not a coward I would say,  trying to handle difficult clubs like this is not something every manager out there can handle and if he happens to be successful, he will be respected a whole lot. But then, the pre-season fixtures have not looked good for Ruben Amorim. Pre-season fixtures are good to sell out how you want to play and shape to the players and fans prior to the start of a new season approaching but if he can't do that right now, then he wil be having a difficult start when the season begins and AC Milan has not done a pretty good job to back him during the transfer window. Hopefully he will fix things up and avoid being sacked all over again.

I don't know where they finish, but I see Juventus doing very well this season under Spalletti. Can they emerge as Champions 9f Italian Seria A?!

You’re right on that point – Inter were mediocre at the time, but you could already see glimpses of the team they would become. I don’t mean to dismiss your opinion, but I’m still convinced that it’s too early to say that Amorim is underperforming at Milan.
Regardless of all that, Amorim did win something in Portugal, but at Manchester United he performed poorly – in fact, very poorly indeed. However, during the period in question, everyone struggled at Manchester United: even players like Pogba and Lukaku, and even Ibrahimović didn’t quite measure up – but that was before Ruben arrived as manager.
