I'm a Manchester united fan but nothing gave me joy than watching Ruben Amorim and his boys silence Manchester United fans who had plans to shame him after this game. This was a perfect win for him and he will go into the Seria A league competition with confidence next season after beating Manchester United.
I'm more than proud of him and he will prove all the doubters who want to see him sacked before December. The build up and execution was top and both Goncalo Ramos and Chukwueze will benefit from his system.

Amorim really got a good revenge on Man Utd for sacking them and proved he is still a good coach and that Man Utd was wrong for firing him. Man Utd missed a penalty that could have shifted the game in their way and after that in the second half Milan really pushed hard. Still this is a friendly match so both coaches were testing a lot their players and tactics so this result dosent matter much. Still this was their last game i think before the leagues start so i wonder how they will play in their leagues. I think Amorim will be a good coach for Milan and that he can get them back in the champions league for the next season.

I don't believe it either. During friendlies you do experiments. It doesn't matter if you win or lose, honestly.
There's no reason to push too hard and possibly get injured, ruining your season. It makes no sense.

Look at it this way, the Manchester United wanted a yes man kind of guy as manager or head coach which was the main reason why they sacked Ruben Amorim and brought in Michael Carrick the perfect yes man for them. Now, they have brought in just two midfielders for Manchester United which is not enough ahead of the competitive Champions league season ahead and they have refused to sign up a left back which we have been lacking for years at the same time integrate players who do not have no more hunger to represent the club, Ruben Amorim well aware of that capitalize on our weaknesses and exposed us and the management are still yet to do shit.

No links bringing a new player and not even signs that the management are different from the glazers who wants nothing but profits. Mind blowing reality! We should be occupants of fourth place by the end of the season.

Oluwa-btc has been a big fan of Rubem Amorim right from when he was in charge of Manchester United, even when Rubem Amorim was being criticized here he was one of those who supported him cause I remember arguing with some of his comments about Amorim not being the reason why United wasn't doing well. Imagine the same manager who couldn't turn things around being the person that led a team that defeated Manchester United tjdt alone sends a strong message to the management and the need for them to sign more players. AC Milan defeated Manchester United not because they were much better but because United are lacking some creative players, imagine the team still depending on Fernandes, Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire, they are not ready to win the league.

I don't follow you. What does a yes man have to do with the club results? Amorim was sacked by Manchester United because his performances were terrible. Then they hired Carrick and he managed to bring United back, they won several games and they ended up in Champions League, big results for them. So Carrick simply earned his spot, that's it.

From the way you explained it, you seem more like a fan of Amorim than a fan of Manchester United... but indeed, that defeat was quite embarrassing for Manchester United since they were beaten by a coach they had just fired. However, we also have to consider that this was a friendly match and it does not represent Manchester United's full strength... so even though AC Milan won that match, it's still too early to celebrate. The season hasn't started yet, and AC Milan needs to prove their consistency... at the very least, Amorim needs to ensure AC Milan secures at least a Champions League spot before we can acknowledge their achievements.

It surprises me how a friendly win gives you joy . If it was UCL or other European competition, It would have been more interesting. It was just a friendly match, and you don't expect the players to play with much effort, because they don't want to get injured before the start of the season. That aside, we all know that Amorim didn't do well at United, and you are talking like United wronged him.

I expect them to play well at least but they didn't, I didn't even follow the game on flashscore like you lots do, I watched the game to see our weakness and flaws. The management of Manchester United contributed to Amorim's failure, i know his 3 man defense tactics is a tough one but some coaches have used it and succeeded but why Amorim failed is because some of the players couldn't adapt yet the board refused to sell them and give him players that would suit his tactics.

It's the same thing they're about doing to Carrick, he helped them qualify for the Champions League yet the midfield is not strong enough, the left wingback is weak and no supportive center defence incase Maguire, De Ligt or Martinez gets injured how do they expect Carrick to perform magic this season. Amorim just exposed their weakness in that friendly game it's left for them to work on it

All I can hope for is that AC Milan can play just as well in the regular season as they did in the preseason. ac milan also has Europa League matches this season and if they can perform well under coach Ruben Amorim, they should be able to achieve good results in the Europa League as well.

You could tell that Amorim really wanted to prove himself against Manchester United, he took the friendly match too serious and his reaction on the pitch said it all. Amorim is a really good coach but was below Manchester United's standard mo doubt, Carrick has done a really good job with Man United and nobody should condemn that despite the preseason results.

One thing that Amorim did after the match which caught my attention was him hugging Man United players and that really showed that he was never hated but just wasn't what Man United needed, he would make a better coach at AC Milan.
