Milan - Venezia.

I noticed this match because I really liked how Milan played against Torino, I was especially impressed with their attacking play. In Venezia’s first match against Lecce, despite dominating the game and controlling the match, they were very poor in attack. That’s why I think Milan are clear favorites in this game.

The only thing I noticed is that the odds on a Milan win are rising, were around 1.40 earlier and are now approaching 1.50. I still think Milan should be able to beat Venezia at home.

Last season Roma were not that consistent with the type of performance that they were giving every weekend in the Italian Seria. This season I expect a change in the performance of Roma especially when it comes to challenging for the trophy,one thing I have seen with other teams especially in top five teams in the Seria is that they are not that consistent with their performances and when a team is not consistent with the type of results that they play such a team is likely to struggle. And that is one thing that has been a problem to to Roma as a team, Roma will start the season on a good note by winning some teams games early in the season but, will not maintain that form towards the closing end of the league. This season I expect Roma to break that barrier.

The rising odds are interesting, Milan should be the favorite here after the way they played against Torino. Venezia may have controlled their first match well, but struggling to create and finish chances would be a big problem for them against Milan. It really make me wonder if the market knows what we are missing, odds alone would not change how I see the match.

Milan playing at home would give them more quality to win, but I still don’t want to see it that way and I would avoid seeing it as a guaranteed result because anything can still happen on the pitch, football can suprise you anytime.

Yes Roma has become a tough opponent for everyone in Serie A and UCL this season. The team who underestimates Roma will definitely make a big mistake. Because Roma's defense is very strong and they have completed every match very perfectly. Easy match indeed, another beautiful starting for AC Milan in this season. Expecting this match to be draw or for Venezia to win is a hard risk and could be the only match that will cut your slip because AC Milan will definitely win hands down.
Your skepticism is understandable, but AC Milan is going do what they have done with clubs like Venezia in the past in this match.

Roma can be challenging for big teams too. The have started the season pretty well, beating Florentina with 4 goal margin is a good way to start the season. I hope Gian Piero Gasperini maintains his winning tactics and know the right adjustment to make for big teams. The Serie A can be competitive sometimes if the can put in the exact same energy we might have a new table structure for the season.

It seems that Gasperini has managed to find in the Dybala–Malen partnership the new playmaker–finisher duo that Roma needed. Dybala is a machine when it comes to assists and brilliant moves, and Malen, when set up well, is a great finisher; he has pace, spots open spaces and makes excellent runs. The problem is that when Dybala is injured, and this happens often, someone else needs to step up and provide those moments of brilliance. However, Soulé, for example, has faded into the background somewhat and is playing poorly, whilst El Shaarawy has left, so we must hope that Dybala can stay fit and injury-free.

I think i have no doubts, Dybala needs no introduction. It's a phenomenon. He is one of those players who have quality and who are born with talent. Malen, on the other hand, is a resurgent star, resurgent because he had faded a bit in the last period, but upon arriving at Roma he found a rebirth, becoming almost top scorer, having started mid-season last year and starting in an explosive way this year.

I also placed bet on that game and I won’t lie to you I almost cried I never expected Roma to bet fiorentina at all because the Fiorentina I know they are actually good at conceding goals and even tho I know Roma is also a wrong team I played fiorentina win or draw I did not even expect them to draw but play a straight win if I had known I would have played that over 2.5 at least it would have been in my favor because I never expected Roma to will at all even with that huge amount of goal 4-0 like I didn’t expect that at all and talking about Dybala he is dominating well for himself and the club and him getting 3 assists actually shows how useful and influential he can be when he is involved.

Dybala is a formidable player and we are talking about a player who very often tends to get injured. A player who, if he hadn't had the misfortune of getting injured so often, would still be at the top. But the fact that, despite all the times he has stopped due to injuries, he can still give performances of this type is incredible. A truly phenomenal player. Milan will even have a full squad available, with no players missing from the match. The only player who will be absent is Rafael Leao, but that should not be a major problem because there are plenty of other options who can replace him.

However, he has a major problem: every year, before the end of the first half of the season, his teams start to slip in form.
I don't know why, but statistically that's how it is!
And it's a shame because if his teams could maintain a consistent run of form, he might well be in contention for the league title

We don't know if it's a matter of bad luck or a matter of a lack of tension in the team. However, this year they have a decidedly beefier team in terms of personnel and more players to rely on to divide the various competitions. So i believe that the reported statistical problem will not be the same this year.

Statistically speaking, and based on both teams’ performance in their first match, there is indeed a difference in strength that I think is quite clear. Milan is definitely the heavy favorite in this match, there’s no doubt about it. But personally, I’m not entirely convinced. The thing is, with every match, we can’t be absolutely certain that the outcome will match the predictions we’ve made from the start. So, yeah we have to be prepared for that possibility as well.

Still, playing at home should make us even more confident that Milan will win this match. so, I think the chances of Milan failing to live up to their status as favorites are quite slim.

If Roma can pull it off the way you think they will, it would be truly remarkable for them. I’m just not very optimistic that Roma can maintain their top form consistently throughout the season, given that their roster isn’t particularly deep or strong. On top of that, Roma has a packed schedule because they’re competing in every tournament they’re entered in. We’ll just have to wait and see how Gasperini manages his squad, given their limitations, to deliver consistently strong performances throughout the season. It certainly won’t be easy.
