I'm not very hopeful about Schalke's future in this season honestly.

Because I don't see any light. Manager changes always make the fans excited of course and we will see if it will make some effect on the team. But it will still be a very difficult season for them obviously. We are seeing them as the worst performing team of the season. They can at least score but their defense is in a very bad shape. Maybe new transfers to the defense line might be some help for them to get better. Above all else, new manager must help the players fix their mental problems to focus on the league matches more.

Have little advantage although Schalke on bottom standing at Bundesliga with several team above just difference with few points only, if one time win Schalke have chance out from relegation team but I doubt with performance from Schalke after last time won at against Bochum on 10 September or more than one moths ago.

in league 2 schalke is a great team but in league 1 they are very bad, schalke has become a subscription to a relegated team.

Schalke may have managed to get back, but that doesn't mean that they were good, they were just good for the league below, but they are still not good for bundesliga. I believe that they are going to drop again very quickly, as it is obvious from the results unless something major changes.

And this time around they have tried so hard to get back last year that next year financially it wouldn't be possible to get all those names, and I am guessing that this time around they won't be coming back neither. I think that it depends on whether or not all players stay healthy over the course of the whole season. If they advance to the next round in the Europa League, they will need everyone on board healthy or otherwise their Bundesliga performance might significantly suffer. Taking into account that their squad is by far not as much and high quality as Bayern's, Union Berlin would suffer from injuries much more and would get into trouble to compensate for that.

But yes, advancing in the Europa League can also set free a lot of positive energy. It gives you a boost in confidence and when you are successful there you can also beat anyone anytime in the Bundesliga.

Regarding your comparison with Marseille, I think a major difference is that Marseille is used to playing in Ligue 1 while Union Berlin just advanced into the 1. Bundesliga last year. They did play a solid first season beyond doubt, but I think it is again a different situation when out of a sudden you take the lead in the table and stay there for a while. Of course that is some extra motivation for a player to stay on top, but it is also a new situation for a club like Union Berlin that they first might need to get used to. The loss against Bochum is an example for a club like Union to be nervous at times I think. Bayern is used to pressure and deals with it better than other clubs in many situations. That's one of their advantages besides having a superior squad.

Schalke has very high debts that was also the reason why they could not really invest into new players after the last season even though they have managed to immediately get back into the Bundesliga again. They even had to let go a few of their most important players of last season. For example Ko Itakura played a very good season last year and was one of the reasons why Schalke had such a good defense, but they just did not have the money to sign him. Now he is playing for Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Because of that i think that many have expected that Schalke would have a difficult season this year, but they did not even manage to meet the lowest expectations so far.

I have to say Union Berlin was quite lucky to be able to win against Braga in their last match. They did not play very well in this match. Their performance was far below their opponent's. Union Berlin did not have any control over the match. But they got lucky and got a penalty. That helped them win the match. Otherwise, Union Berlin was not as strong in almost any aspect of the game compared to Braga.

In the next match, they are going to play against Monchengladbach and I think they should be able to win that match. Obviously, they have to win that match if they want to stay in the first position on the Bundesliga point table.

Robin Knoche's goal in the 68th minute through the penalty spot became the only goal created in the match and brought Union Berlin to victory over visitors Braga. This is a difficult match for Uninon Berlin because Braga also came with a winning mission, even though they were able to dominate the match even though they couldn't score a goal against Union Berlin. But there is no chance for them to be able to overcome Union Saint Gilloise which in the match also won. If they want to sit in second place then they have to win their last game against the leaders.
