I think both teams are focusing their attention on other leagues besides the Bundesliga, because they are both in different leagues this season where Bayern Munich are still in the Champions League in the last eight. Likewise, Bayer Leverkusen is still not eliminated from the Europa League this season even though Leverkusen is still concentrating on the Bundesliga in order to make greater history this season. Because if Leverkusen is able to win the Bundesliga and is also able to win the European League, of course Xabi Alonso will be very happy and he will be targeted by many other teams from various leagues in the coming season.

Bayern Munich and Leverkusen still existing in European competition with Bayern focus for playing in quarter final round of UEFA Champion League against Arsenal and West Ham will be opponent team for Bayern Leverkusen in quarter final of Europe League. Both teams won't loss their potential trophy exactly for Bayern Munich with less possibility for winning Bundesliga tittle after remaining 10 points from Leverkusen.
Xabi Alonso seems more happy with quarter final drawing match because face not strong opponent teams and difference with Bayern Munich have focus in Champion League and will make any rotation with their regular player near future for first and second legs match against Arsenal in Champion League matches.

I don't think there will be many draws in this match; most of them will be in favour of Bayern Leverkusen because they no longer appear to be scared after beating top teams like Bayern Munich in the league to maintain their current position. When playing against them, these teams may be afraid of losing to them because they have been on a winning streak. With the remaining fixtures, I don't believe Bayern Leverkusen's position will be endangered.  They appear to be in complete control and on track to win their first Bundesliga title.

Having a 10 point gap above Bayern Munich is something that makes Leverkusen safe at the top of the standings. They just can't relax because Bayern Munich could recover and return to the title competition, so Leverkusen still has to maintain its dynamic pace until the end of the season.

Leverkusen has a good chance of winning the match against Freiburg tomorrow. I no longer even consider all of these teams to be a threat to Leverkusen because Leverkusen's biggest threat this season is Bayern Munich and that team has also been defeated by Leverkusen this season. So I no longer consider all the teams you mentioned to be a serious threat to Leverkusen so it could be quite possible for Leverkusen to continue this unbeaten streak until the end of the season even though it is also possible for Leverkusen to get a draw in the remaining nine matches.

Well maybe the big teams aren't a threat but football sometimes can be really funny and maybe you can be surprised that it might even be one of the little teams that even give them problems in their quest to keep a clear stand and achieve something that very hard to do which is keeping an unbeaten record through out the whole league. Bayern Leverkusen have really shocked many this season and they have defiled all odds and is heading to win the bundesLiga but you can never be too certain because one bad spell can spoil everything.

It is understandable that Leverkusen consistency can be stopped by a small team that is not taken into account at all, this is a fact that we have often seen so far. That why Xabi is still unable to talk about their chances of winning the trophy, because he understands that everything can change in the blink of an eye. I think it's not a problem to just assume that Leverkusen can win the trophy this season, where Xabi fleet is already one step closer to achieving success.

Leverkusen don't have to maintain their unbeaten record throughout the season, what's more important is winning trophies, but if they manage to do that then that would be even more wonderful. Personally, I'm not too worried if Leverkusen loses points, because as we can see they still have a safe point difference from Bayern.

Leverkusen toughest challenge is in the Europa League, it seems they have a little difficulty winning easily there, very different from their matches in the Bundesliga or DFB Pokal. Among the three competitions they are currently playing, the DFB Pokal trophy seems to be in their hands, it's just a matter of time.

I was thinking back and forth whether the game in the Europa League could have cost them their precious momentum had they gotten kicked out of the competition. Because it was against all expectations that they could somehow lose that game and then out of a sudden everything was against them. But now that they made this little miracle happen and scored those two goals in overtime, I this can set free additional belief and willpower for the rest of the season. The atmosphere of the Champions League certainly brings greater pressure to all its contestants every season, very different from the European League, let alone their respective domestic leagues. It is just about some matter of time before the league ends and Bayern Leverkusen will be declared the winner of the Bundesliga trophy this season. Bayern Munich have shifter their focus now to the Champions League because they feel they can get some hope of winning a trophy there than they will at their domestic league. If Bayern Leverkusen was leading Bayern Munich by 5 points, I could have said that there is hope for Bayern Munich to challenge for the Bundesliga title. If I were Thomas Tuchel, that is what I will do, there is no point fighting a lost battle. They should surrender the Bundesliga and focus on the UEFA Champions League that is even more prestigious than their domestic league. Even with their second eleven, they can finish the season among the four teams that will play champions league next season, they just have to win few matches to guarantee a slot and thereafter direct all their resources to the champions league where they stand a chance even though they don't seem to be the favorite to win it.

This match should be one of the best of Leipzig that I have seen in a long while. They displayed everything that make them a great team in the match even though they were unable to win first half as many people expected the match to 2/2 HT/FT.  Another option that would have been better is over3.5 goals and this entered perfectly well as the match ended 1:5. Leipzig have to maintain this pace if they will play champions league next season because the battle between them and Borussia Dortmund is becoming tougher as the season progresses. If Dortmund win their match against E. Frankfurt today, which is unlikely, they will return to 4th position while Leipzig will be relegated to the 5th position. Although I do not see this happening because I'm projecting a score draw for the match between Dortmund and E. Frankfurt.

After winning with a big score against Mainz last week, this week Bayern Munich will face the weakest team in the Bundesliga, maybe they will continue to be motivated to win with a big score and Darmstadt is the team with the most goals conceded among all the teams in the Bundesliga with an average of more 2 goals per match.
Bayern Munich is very likely to score more than three goals in the next match and that will continue to place Bayern as the most productive team but unfortunately no matter how many goals Bayern scores so that they can get three points they will still not be able to change their position, because they are already far behind Bayer Leverkusen, but at least that is enough to tell the public that they are still fighting until the end of the season and if there is a miracle, their fight will not be in vain.

Leverkusen when Xabi took over had to start from scratch to build up to where they are now. So far Xabi, he has been a good boss and his methods have worked perfectly for Leverkusen. One would wonder how he managed to put up such feat for the team considering the spot he picked them from.

 It's one quality that can definitely be found in a good manager. Leverkusen have been impressive in all rounds and it's surprising that they're now better than some already grounded teams. It only means that Xabi has a unique managing quality which can be of essence in bigger teams too. I believe he's still got good plans for the German team, which will still be manifested good.Their last UEL round of 16 game was played and the results were very impressive. We saw the two big teams in the competition strive to make a good game.

 Although for Qarabag, yes they were very much competitive and they did their best to hold Leverkusen to a draw but this is not a justification to their qualification unto the next phase. Big ups to them still that they were able to perform unpredictably well last night. They better in the first two goals in the game and they definitely used their host advantage very well. Leverkusen, would only have to do better in the second leg adding that they'd be the host and i believe they won't want to tarnish their records so far this season, so I'm very much  confident in their ability to score enough and secure the next phase ticket when they take on Qarabag in Germany.

Xabi is coach who is able to implement various best strategies in playing and also in the placement of players so as to make the Leverkusen squad really very strong even though I don't see Leverkusen having great players who are very expensive.
This is Xabi true greatness and with his performance ability, if he coaches much bigger team, it is very likely that he will be able to achieve more championship titles, he will also become coach with big name.
Everyone and even all football teams admit that Xabi performance is truly above average and the opinion is that Xabi is the best coach in the future considering that currently he is still quite young as coach.

I think Leverkusen has chance to the treble winner this season.
Their Bundesliga managed to top the standings with comfortable and safe position, their Europa League will compete in the quarter-finals against West Ham and are likely to win, and the last one is the DFB Cup where Leverkusen has reached the semifinals.
This is really good opportunity and it is very rare for it to be repeated, even this season is Leverkusen best season which has been able to provide many opportunities in the fight for the title.

There is nothing Bayern Munich will do this season that will stop Bayern Leverkusen from winning the Bundesliga title this season. Bayern Leverkusen has played 27 matches this season without losing any, and I don't see them doing it now. Bayern Leverkusen is separately on a different level in the Bundesliga, and no club can stop them in the Bundesliga this season.

If Bayern Leverkusen was leading Bayern Munich by 5 points, I could have said that there is hope for Bayern Munich to challenge for the Bundesliga title.
