However, putting the result of the game aside, Bayern had much dominance and control of the game to which the statistics says it all but Villa got fortunate with that powerful shot from the super-sub Jhon Duran earning them tonight's victory over Bayern.  The champions league never stop getting interest with it's overwhelming results.

I would be me more harsh and say that Aston Villa deserves it. It's like leaving a piece of food on the table for almost the entire party, having the chance to grab it and then shortly before the party is over, someone else grabs it. Who deserved it? Bayern had chances but it is the same drama over and over again. They don't score the goals in the important games. Not totally irrelevant, but somewhat irrelevant when you score 9 goals against Zagreb and that none against Aston Villa...

Now it is all about the next game in the Bundesliga. Kompany now knows what it feels like to lose a game with Bayern when they should have actually won it. But this is what Tuchel and Nagelsmann also ran into. I am not sure what the game against Stuttgart will look like. I have no doubt they are a title contender for Bundesliga but unfortunately they have almost always failed because of inconsistency. After a long period of dominance from Munich we finally have some challengers this season. Munich, Leverkusen, Leipzig and Dortmund are my favorite teams to win the Bundesliga trophy. I think the league will be better when several teams can compete with each other.

The reason is obvious because Dortmund are too business-minded than title priorities and just look at how many talented young players they have sold to other clubs and there almost all of them have achieved success with their new clubs. Dortmund are Champions League finalists next season but I don't see a fierce competition and even Real Madrid easily won the match.

Not so sure that Dortmund will be a Bundesliga contender this season because now there are several other teams who are much stronger. Before Leverkusen became the team they are now, they should have been one of the strong candidates for the title, but Dortmund always failed to achieve a good finish in the Bundesliga.

With this I think that if only Dortmund stopped their bad habit of selling every quality player in their team then I am sure that the trophy is not something that is too difficult to achieve, because with such a habit they are still able to provide strong competition in the top four area. Another thing of course this season will be more interesting, I will focus on Leverkusen as a surprising team last season and also on Bayern Munich where we see that now they have indications of very good changes in starting the season, several other top teams have the opportunity to win the title this season but I think this season is a competition for two teams Bayern Munich and Leverkusen, we'll see who is stronger.

I agree with you that Borussia Dortmund is too business-minded to gain profit, while they don't seem to care about an achievement that they should also be pursuing. I think I don't need to say anymore what they do so I say something like this, because this is something that is already an open secret for them. If only they were a little focused on pursuing the championship, then I'm sure they would have been able to get it a long time ago, but unfortunately they don't want to do it. From what I understand in the match the Villans used the only chance that they had to win the match because they didn't play that good compared to Bayern, but they were able to hold their defense and defended their one goal till the end of the match. The thing is the whole aspect of Dortmund not winning the league or selling off their best players all bows down to one thing which is the vision of the club, I can say that even Dortmund has desire to win trophies at the beginning of the season their ambition isn’t as high as that of club like Bayern Munich and that is what is drawing them back. First the hierarchic are just there to me to actually make money and cover for there expenses and most of these players have ambitions to win trophies and that’s why you see them leaving immediately they get to their peak.

I could remember when Dortmund under Jurgen Klopp were challenging for every trophy then with even the champions league included, they had raising stars like Lewandowski, Reus and even Gotze but lost them to their greatest rivals and challengers with only Reus staying, this was actually caused by the financial situation they usually find themselves in but seriously Dortmund hierarchy themselves are not that ambitious and that is what translates to the players on the pitch. This season they have started not quite well and I still don’t think they will go all the way to win it
