Borussia Dortmund seem to be discovering oil every week, the way they are going down the table of late, they will soon discover that oil they're looking for. With one win in their last 5 games they are on a poor run of form, they currently sit 10th on the Bundesliga table with 25 points and they are losing 1-0 on the night against Frankfurt. If they are to get a point or win here in the second half, they need to buckle up and push for it, although Frankfurt is not an easy team to overcome of late.

Time was running out instead of them getting the equalizing score, for now Dortmund conceded another goal in stoppage time which left Franfurt now 2 goals ahead.

This is obviously quite bad for them because however for now they must as much as possible get full points to improve their performance but what happens is that they always get bad results and make them thrown away in the competition for now.
With this condition I am quite wondering why until now Nuri Sahin is still kept after the deep destruction for now because after all it is actually enough for them to keep Nuri Sahin with the current conditions because it will be a difficult situation if in the end they decide a little late in the condition of Dortmund which is getting destroyed later.

Normally, even at the start of the game, I didn’t support Dortmund to win because I knew they would not be able to win against Frankfurt. Comparing their performance, we all know that Frankfurt is in a better condition more than Dortmund, and seeing the way Dortmund is losing their base, they will have to focus on their performance, most especially their defense, because they are getting weaker in their defense, and Sahin needs to do something to see if they can make it back to the top 4 in the Bundesliga even though they did make it to the Champions.

Yes, Frankfurt are in a better form than Borussia Dortmund currently and will surely be bookies ands fans favorite to win the tie judging from their poor runs of performance lately, although they have some series of injuries that's the only excuse i can come up with for Borussia Dortmund so far, they need to take advantage of this transfer window to save the team from going further down.

I don't know if they are feeling embarrassed at all. Three straight losses and this might even continue to the next match which will be against Werder. Even if the lack a good manager they can still do better than this. Imagine losing as though they haven't played a match for a year.

This whole losses began after they returned from the break and to be honest they are not impressing their fans and likewise betting on them will become risky as their performance is nothing good to talk about. If the goal was 1-0 it would have been bearable but here 2 goals to nothing. I mean they should have some shame.

Dortmund's defeat this time is really embarrassing how can they as a top club be defeated by a club that can be said to be a weak club this season even though Holstein Kiel is in the relegation zone and has only won 2 times so far and 3 when beating Dortmund, the defeat when playing against Leverkusen I can understand but losing against a promoted club is unacceptable I also began to doubt Dortmund's performance this season it is possible that Dortmund will not be able to finish in the UCL zone because it has experienced a fairly sharp decline.

Dortmund should be in shame for allowing such defeat from a very weak club. I think Dortmund has lost their quality and we fail to see that. I hope they don't continue this way if not it might find themselves at the bottom of the table.

I hope something is done fast to improve the team's performance so that they can start winning their matches, otherwise, we might see them on a long losing streak.

I think this season has been the worst season for Dortmund compared to the last few seasons where they are usually a very strong club in the Bundesliga and not far behind Bayern Munich but this season we can see the decline in Dortmund, I think should they are starting to think about the future of their club from now on and not just thinking about business by selling talented players, I think this is also the effect of prioritizing business over the reputation of the club.

This season was very bad for the Borussia Dortmund football team and they need to change their mindset if they want to win next matches. Borussia Dortmund football team could win only 7 matches out of 18 matches in the Bundesliga and team lost 6 matches and 5 matches were draw in this tournament. Eintracht Frankfurt football team is playing against Borussia Dortmund and that match will be quite interesting because both teams are playing for the win and these are of same level. But Eintracht Frankfurt has 3rd position on the table and that team won 10 matches of this tournament and 4 matches were draw matches and that team lost 4 matches and that team has 34 points on the table.

The owners of Dortmund are more interested in making profits than winning trophies and that's why they keep on selling their top players for profits instead of making use of them to win the club trophies. They're having very poor form recently as they have only won 1 game in their last 5 games and they'll be playing today against Eintracht Frankfurt that are 3rd on the table and will be looking for a win to get more points to guarantee their finish in the top4 position. Agreed, Dortmund as a team is like an academy where top teams comes to get players from, i could remember back then, Dortmund will buy players for low fees and nurture them till they reach a certain level then big clubs will come for such a player and they sell off their by making their profit from that player. That's the major reason why Dortmund hasn't won the league in such a long time because they keep on selling off their best players instead of assembling them to win trophies. At this point, I don’t think Dortmund will change anytime soon, their performance is getting worse eveyday even against teams they are supposed to defeats, and they keep dropping points and their position keep dropping and they keep losing hope of qualifying to the Champions League against next season.

Dortmund has lost three Bundesliga matches in a row, they were having potential to challenge for top four but they have dropped to the tenth position after these three matches, and I have concluded that they cannot contest of the title race anymore; the title race is now between Leverkusen and Bayern Munich.

You know how the Champions league is considered like the top competitions in football,  many teams tend to priorize this one and even go as far as resting it's top players and as a result most big teams usually draw or lose games around this time and for Dortmund it's not any different..expect more of these results this weekend!!

I also thought of the same thing: it might be that they are not ashamed of losing anymore; that is why I stop betting against them, but still they keep playing performances that are not even a bit encouraging, and all this will make them lose value in the face of the fans and other teams. Although they caused it for themselves, because I just can’t understand this: “You went on a holiday to have enough time for training, but suddenly you came back with a very poor performance.” How does that make sense?

But to be sincere, if Dortmund lost against Bologna in the Champions League or they lost against Bremen in the Bundesliga, then I will not watch their games anymore because it is annoying to see a well-recognised team like Dortmund playing bullshit on the pitch.

Did Dortmund play with a rotating lineup? And in general, it doesn't seem logical to me, since now in the Champions League the group stage (where Dortmund is doing well) and in the Bundesliga they are further and further from the places that give a ticket to the Champions League. Plus how can this be considered expected if Dotmund have 3 defeats in a row in the Bundesliga and have 6 points in the last 7 games. This is a strange situation.

I think Dortmund is really discovering oil right now because they don't seem tired of giving out points in every match they play, losing again today against Frankfurt shows how weak the team has become and if they keep giving out points they may be found in the bottom place and they will need to bring in good players which will be difficult since they will not be participating in the European competition next season.

The game ended 2:0 in favour of Frankfurt and Dortmund moved back to 10th place in the league with 25 points after 18 matches played, they have lost 7 mates in league their next game will be in their home if they fail to win the match they will go down to 11th place and it will be difficult for them to see the top4 again this season.

It was so unfortunate on BVB Dortmund’s end to have loss the game today against Frankfurt. Like you said, Frankfurt is not an easy team to win and that’s what have caused them to get another loss today. The match was played in Frankfurt’s home, which is a more advantage to them in this match. With this match, they still remain in the 10th place on the table. The closest team to them on the table still has an outstanding match with only one point for Dortmund ahead of them, so it’s likely that if Borussia Monchengladbach wins their match, Borussia Dortmund will still go down below the table. The Bundesliga has taken a big turn on Borussia Dortmund, so they may end the team in a poor state unlike they did end in the last season.

Another victory for Eintracht, they are not stopping. It's their 3rd win in a row and they're currently only 2 points behind the 2nd Leverkusen, but only until tomorrow when I hope Leverkusen will earn another 3 points on Monchengladbach.
On the other hand, Dortmund's bad luck continues. It was their 3rd straight loss in the league and it's getting clearer that the top 4 might have just got beyond their reach. Luckily they still have Champions League to play with decent chances of getting through to the next round. Actually Dortmund's performance declining is as a result of the inconsistency in the players. They become impressive today and another day less impressive which is not the kind of players a team need to compete further in top leagues. Last season we saw what Dortmund was able to pull off in the UCL. But am not seeing the same Dortmund anymore. This time they are just there to make some teams lose points i dont think they are really in for the title.

Speaking about their fate at the end of this season, if they may qualify for the UCL next season or not. Yeah, i think they can be able to qualify much effort is put on. Sometimes we get to see some teams underperforming and later on they pick up before the end of the season.

I never thought they would be dropping so fast and we shouldn't see them as one of the best teams in the Bundesliga. Is like they need to seek the face of relegation and who knows maybe they might even be relegated by the end of the season because as it is they can't even beat team in the top five, as it is Dortmund are currently doing a giveaway every week they give out three points to any team they come against and I wonder how they will manage when it's time to play the Champions League, they might as well do the same thing.

But at least, this kind of result has been my personal prediction too, because in the previous post I also said that whatever the odds available, I would still believe Eintracht Frankfurt would beat Dortmund, and it happened. I think there are no strange results about Eintracht Frankfurt's victory against Dortmund, because in the previous match Dortmund also humiliated by Holstein Kiel with a score of 4-2, so of course Eintracht Frankfurt will also maximize Dortmund's bad trend to beat them.

In my opinion, Dortmund is indeed in its worst period, they are not saving their energy to face the Champions League match. We realize that the Champions League offers more benefits and is much more prestigious than the Bundesliga, but it is illogical if they sacrifice the opportunity to finish in the top four of the standings which will give them the opportunity to play in the Champions League next season. I think it is time for Dortmund management to look for a new manager, Nuri Sahin failed to meet expectations.

Yes, they celebrated with the big win. Although Harry Kane scored a goal because of a penalty kick, but this added to the number of his scores and remained the top scorer in the Bundesliga with 16 goals, only 1 goal away from Omar Marmoush, Frankfurt with 15 goals. And what is very interesting here is that Bayern did not give Hoffenheim any gaps to attack.

I agree with some people here that the defeat is not so surprising considering Dortmund's performance so far in the Bundesliga. And on the other hand, Frankfurt has indeed been that optimal at least in the last 3 matches.

Although on the other hand, they have to leave their mainstay striker Marmoush who is rumored to move to Man City. However, in this match against Dortmund without him, they still managed to win 2-0, with goals from Ekitike and Hojlund.
