Kompany is new to the business but that doesn't mean he can't be up to the level of coaches like Pep Guardiola, Ancelotti  or even Mourinho, he has made some mistakes but he's still on track to me. And for Kompany to last long as the manager of Bayern Munich I think winning the champions league will give him full ground at Bayern. For some coaches that started with with him like Lampard and Rooney (as ex footballers) I think Kompany is the best among them all, he just need to give the club something they have lost and that's the glory of Bundesliga, getting them that trophy is going to be a big win for him and I don't see the management sacking him.

Kompany is a good coach and nobody saw those qualities in him, until he came to Bayern. There are also some ex-players that became a coach and they are doing pretty good. Look at Inzaghi and Xabi Alonso in their respective clubs, they both won their domestic leagues last season. I am happy to see Kompany doing great with his new clubs despite all the critics he had in the beginning, when he was appointed as Bayern coach.

What makes us so sure about him being a good coach? So far we know that he has done badly before Bayern, hell last season he relegated in premier league, so the only "good" thing that we have in our hands is that he is leading Bundesliga with Bayern Munich right now. Is that the thing that makes him good? I mean is really being number one with Bayern Munich that difficult of a job that we would consider him good for doing something like this? I am not entirely sure about that at all.

I feel like there are a million people out there who can manage Bayern Munich and be first place with them. Plus the season isn't even over yet, we have just 4 points difference with Leverkusen and if Leverkusen keeps their momentum going, then we could see different results.

In fact, it is very difficult to maintain what was achieved last season, now Leverkusen has lost 13 points since the start of the season with details of 5 draw and 1 loss. But so far they remain a threat to Munich who are trying to win back the Bundesliga trophy. I admit, Leverkusen's performance is not too bad, they are only 4 points behind Munich who are in first place. This competition will make the League more competitive, every match must be considered important because if Leverkusen loses points it will make the difference between the two even bigger.

So, we can see that there will be tight competition before they return to compete in the Bundesliga. Well, the next match will not be easy for Leverkusen, they will travel to Signal Induna Park, the headquarters of Burussia Dortmund. If Bayer Leverkusen fails to get full points, then Munich has the opportunity to widen the points gap and secure their position at the top of the German League table.

The way you view football matters a lot when it comes to the success of a coach. Xabi studied what made them stumble at the start of the season and now they are back to their best form and that has brought them back to 2nd place behind Bayern Munich by just 4 points.

Interesting, it will be tough test for Bayern Munich when Leverkusen returns to their best performance and more consistently because there is big threat to be able to win the Bundesliga trophy this season, the meeting between the two is still quite long time for us to witness and I see their schedule meeting in mid-February.

Yes, it becomes more interesting when Leverkusen has started to return to good form and remains consistent. In the last matches, between Leverkusen and Bayern Munich, the result was a draw in the Bundesliga, and Leverkusen won in the DFB Pokal. While Dortmund vs Leverkusen will only take place on January 11, 2025.

Looking at their performance lately, Leverkusen should be superior. However, Dormund will play at home and sometimes they can be that optimal when they have high motivation to beat strong teams like Leverkusen.

[I was actually disappointed at Bayern Munic for loosing to Mainz but as it is football, such things happens to male the sports interesting and full of surprises. On the other hand, I love the energy with which they bounced back by humiliating RB Leipzig with 5:0. This results shows that Bayern Munic losing to Mainz might actually be a mistake, although, it is a costly mistake. Bayern Munic have good opportunity to win the German Bundesliga this season even though they still have many teams to  contend with.

Well Bayern Munich is actually really doing so well that i really do admire their performance and that is why i didn't really feel disappointed when they lost their last game against Mainz because i felt they were later going to make up for it at the next game since they were literally in their best form this season, i knew it was just one of those losses that big teams do get to encounter in the cause of the season as they cannot completely win all the games they have got for the season, a loss or a draw will happen but the most important thing is it not stopping them from winning the trophy.

Everyone has to admit that Bayern Munich is doing really so well, Bayern Munich's current performance proves that they have won more matches than any other team in the Bundesliga. I think it is very common for a team to lose one match. Moreover, no team can guarantee that they will win all the matches in a season in any league, it may be impossible for all teams. Similarly, Bayern Munich is very strong and the best team, but they can't win all the Bundesliga matches or they will never win all the matches. Based on the match they lost against Mainz, you can never say that they won't win the Bundesliga title this year.

I think it is not easy for Vincent Kompany to be able to give the UCL title this season even though their main competitors Real Madrid and Man City are having difficulties but there are Liverpool and Barcelona who are still performing well in the UCL and will be Bayern's competitors, I think it makes more sense for him to give the Bundesliga title to Bayern which was broken by Leverkusen last season, the situation in the Bundesliga is also not safe because Leverkusen is still trying to put pressure on Bayern at the top of the standings.

You shouldn't pay too much attention to gibberish posts. It is mostly posting for the sake of posting, but it lacks rationale. It is exactly as you said and makes it the most surprising signing of a coach that Bayern could have done. He got relegated with his club, has no experience with star players, hasn't really won anything, is very young and therefore has no experience in that regard either.

And finally someone says it, there are a million people who could coach Bayern and lead the table in the Bundesliga. It is probably true. They are out of the DFB Pokal and have had a good bunch of problems in the Champions League. They still haven't secured a top 8 position and as you said, the 4 points mean nothing as Bayer Leverkusen just gets going.

Sometimes big challenges gets people to transcend and exhibit some other talents and abilities,  before now kompany was not seen as one who can be able to really head Bayern Munich and get the kind of results he's getting at time because he's been heading smaller teams before now so the confidence handling a bigger team was one most persons found difficult to build in him but so far he seem to have proven the world wrong and with time he's even advancing and breaking limits, I'm optimistic that by his second season at Munich be will be such that other's would likely envy and admire a lot.

I am one of the people who doubted his ability to steer the affairs of a big club like Bayern Munich. I was concerned about his ability to deal with the club management and big players who are almost his age mates. My concern was that they might not respect him or give him all the support he needs. But he has performed well regardless of the challenges he has faced.

Bayern is not doing badly in both the Bundesliga and the UCL. They might grab the automatic qualification to the next round if they can win Feyenoord and Slovan Bratislava in their next games. If they fail to do that, they might have to settle for a playoff.

Leverkusen could not perform as well as last season because some teams achieve great success in some seasons but cannot repeat this success the next season. In order to be successful continuously, teams need to have high economic levels and not sell important players. Leverkusen did not start the season well but they are starting to recover. It took Alonso a while to get what he wanted from the team. They drew too many times and that is why they are 4 points behind Munich.

Dortmund has 25 points and I did not expect them to get so few points. They play very good football in European matches but they cannot do what they want in the league. They lost a lot of points unexpectedly. If Dortmund can play good football like they do in European matches, they will get to a good place in the league very quickly.

Yes of course some season is meant to be good for some teams that's the fact and the other otherwise as you said but the major thing is that a team should not allow things to go too bad, Buddy sometimes it is almost impossible not to sell this players, football teams may be going through financial crisis and the only way to survive it, is by selling some of them to receover, we should understand most times it's not that a club really want to seel thses players it just happens because of circumstances beyond their control,  though am not saying that's good for a football club to sell their good players but when there is no option left then anything is possible.
Alonso has done a good job so far and am looking out for more of that from him, I will not be surprised if things finally goes in his favour this season because tension has started building up and it may lead to more good results if Alonso and his team consistently do the needful.

As for Dortmund I don't know what their fate will be this season, there inconsistency is becoming unbearable unless I see change then I can retrace my statement but for now Dortmund isn't giving their best, they are supposed to be one of the major contenders of their league title this season though I won't underrate anytime but time will tell.

Bayern Munich only suffered one defeat in the Bundesliga. They are also not bad in the Champions League. When you think about it like this, we can actually assume that the manager is successful. At the beginning of the year, we were all questioning whether he would be successful. We thought he was not suitable for Bayern Munich because he did not have experience in many big teams. However, we see that the Belgian manager has coped very well. If Bayern Munich wants to extend his contract with him, I think they should wait for the position at the end of the year. It is too early to talk about these things for now.
