The gap between Bayern and Dortmund is only six points right now mainly because Bayern allowed themselves to relax a bit in a few rounds. They let Dortmund get a little closer, but believe me, a six-point advantage for Bayern is still very significant, and I don’t believe Dortmund can really compete with them. Today there will be a Cup match in which Bayern will face Leipzig. I think we’ll see another Bayern victory here, but first we need to see what lineup the Kompany decides to field for this game.

Leipzig shouldn't be underestimated because they're not a weak team. However, Bayern needs a compulsory win in this game because they need to maintain the six points gap from Dortmund. It's only if Dortmund fail to win any of their matches that Bayern can feel relieved.

If they don't win, it means that Dortmund will be of advantage to close the points gap to three which will be a big problem for Bayern Munich because winning the trophy wouldn't be guaranteed anymore.

Even though they lost through a penalty shootout, Hertha Berlin was able to disrupt Freiburg's game so that in normal time they were only able to draw. Hertha Berlin is not the top team, but they were able to reach the quarter-finals of the DFB-Pokal which was a good achievement even though in the end they had to stop because they failed to achieve victory in that match. For big teams, this competition is not prestigious, but I am quite sure that for some other teams they are quite aiming for this trophy because this is an opportunity that they might have.

These teams are always solid and always do well and you can see this when there are matches like this, i always follow them with great interest because you can really notice the changes and if there are talents, Hertha Berlin is a really good team even if it's not very strong but i like it a lot.

I saw a where Lamine Yamal was compared to Michael Olise, the stats was that Olise has more assists than Lamine Yamal and he has more big chances created than Lamine Yamal almost twice, Lamine has more goals but only just.
I want to know what you think is stats good to compare Olise and Yamal? To me Yamal is playing the best football in the world and the Olise is fabulous but Yamal is better than him .

I seriously started to dislike these cup games. While it gives smaller teams a chance to play and maybe potentially win something so I get the value for it for smaller clubs, I honestly dislike the timing of it. DFB Pokal at this period would just tire players out and nothing more, and they are not really that important.

What happens if Bayern wins the whole thing, you think they are happy? Of course not, and even smaller clubs who ever win, they are not really that much happy for that long because they will not really help financially so it doesn't change much. I get the novelty of the idea, but it's really boring and not many watch it and it causes players to be tired and easily injured because of how fatigued they are from these extra games.

Cup matches are really useless, they only serve to tire out the players and make them even more tired and unready for other more important matches, sometimes i don't understand why they are played and why these matches continue to be played, then when they play in the league they are tired and the players don't perform.

You need to understand that stats in football means everything. This is why you see some players act stingy on the ball to get goals or make assist is very important especially for a forward player.

Bayern Munich's chances of winning the trophy are much greater than Dortmund's. Even though the points gap is close at only six points, I have more confidence in Bayern Munich. Dortmund has shown good changes recently, but they have surprisingly lost consistency in certain matches, making it difficult to maintain their lead with their current points gap. If the competition conditions remain as they are now, I believe Bayern Munich can emerge as title contenders and it will be difficult to break their dominance.

There is no way that Dortmund will be able to win the trophy, because bayern have been dedicating a lot of time to this just because they want to win the trophy and the strategy they are playing sometimes it looks like they are not serious and we understand what they are trying to do, they don't want to exust there players to much because of the champion league. No matter what is happening in there point gap am so sure of there victory. Am so much confident in them, they are playing strategically and this will actually help them, and the way kompany is moving that man deserves some good credit. There dominance can not be easily compromised because they have a lead already which have given them a good advantage over every other club.

In the end, we will only see other teams competing for the runner-up spot because their chances and opportunities to compete for the title are indeed slim. Moreover, with Bayern Munich's performance so far being much more consistent, it will certainly be difficult for other teams to catch up with them in terms of points until the end of the season.

The league is open for everyone so those that have the full capacity to be able to win will have to work for it and that is why we are having exactly what we are having now,  and only few know we're they stand in the winning of the trophy, and in this case we already know who is going to win,  and very soon the season will end and bayern will be the ones to emerge as the winner of the Bundesliga. Am sure everyone knows that there is no any other person that is going to win. If not for bayern Munich regardless of what ever is happening now.

But if anything I think the "to qualify" odds for Leipzig aren't too bad @6.60. It leaves all options on the table if 90 minutes end in a draw. I think it's pretty high because the spread between this choice and straight win is only 2.40 (9.00 for regular win). I can imagine that under some weird circumstances this goes into overtime and then maybe penalties. Unlikely, but do the odds justify taking a shot for you?

Actually, the rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi made football incredibly enjoyable. Right now, I don't see two players who can offer a similar level of competition. Yamal is a very talented player, we can't deny that, but he's not at the level of Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. Olise is having a fantastic season and has contributed a lot to Bayern Munich. Instead of these kinds of arguments, I think it would be more appropriate to focus on his game and make comments accordingly.

Freiburg this season is weaker than usual. Apart from accepting a lot of goals and scoring less. They were at risk for elimination from DFB-Pokal against Hertha Berlin..
Hertha forced Freiburg to play additional times and they lost at the end by 2 shots while Freiburg lost only one. Hertha was not even in the list of the first names of teams in 2.Bundesliga .I understand the competition is not that valuable, but it is always good to get another trophy whenever possible.

Freiburg is definitely below par, but i wouldn't underestimate Hertha Berlin, who despite everything is always there fighting, and they made Freiburg play with their backs to the wall, but despite everything, they managed to save themselves in the end. i would say that it was certainly a remarkable match and a lot of fun.

I still can imagine the Bundesliga trophy being lifted by Bayern Munich captain Neuer honestly.    The gap is 6 points with Dortmund, I know that. But still I don't think Dortmund will be able to keep this gap for a long time.

They are much more prone to losing points in easy matchups. I admire their streak now but this will come to an end sooner or later. I still expect Bayern Munich to become the champions by even a gap on double digits. Just like last season...

Dortmund's recent "form" is really them scraping victories they should've lost. That Heidenheim game? Bottom of the table, and Dortmund were getting carved open. Guirassy attempted to chip penalty when they were only up 3-2 Sent it into orbit. That's stupidity. Against the weakest team in the league!

Dortmund have to play Atalanta twice in the knockouts of the Champions league, then fly to Leipzig, then fly on to Munich. All in like twelve days. Bayern? Sitting at home. Resting. Preparing.

I've watched enough football to know what happens when you have a skinny squad playing four massive games in two weeks chasing a team that's just. Waiting for them, fresh. It ends badly.

The difference in goals alone is everything. Bayern are +60, Dortmund +23.

I can't help but have this feeling that there is a slight contradiction in your post. Or you are a different kind and you find games interesting that are actually not interesting by normal semantic and psychological standards. I wouldn't rule out that possibility as there is a good bunch of people on the forum that exhibit abnormal behavior or information processing capabilities.

It was a very enjoyable match, and I'm sure viewers especially enjoyed the extra time. Although Freiburg were very effective, they couldn't find the winning goal in 90 minutes. Freiburg advanced to the next round, albeit through penalties, and will now await their next match. Hertha certainly didn't play worse than them; they were just a little unlucky, and the penalties didn't go their way.

Bayern Munich will do everything possible to achieve the victory and qualify to the next step, they are playing at home and they won't try to lose this match because if they mistakenly lose they will just focus on the league and champions league they have lost DFB Pokal. The way the games is moving I see like Leipzig are trying to press and even score one goal but he as be disallowed, that as show that Leipzig really need this match that is why they are pressing well Kompany just need to try better and make Munich get the victory in this match, because they have more advantages then Leipzig in the game and have talented players in the team.

I want Bayern Munich to win the DFB trophy so that Daiz can get is first trophy in bayern Munich and still win the league title this season and if they can try better to get the opportunity to win the Champions League too, but we know that will be very difficult for Bayern Munich to win the ucl because that is the only competition that is making  clubs should not get a treble. Let see how the game will end Leipzig and Munich.

I like watching double matches at the same time and tonight I’m also doing so, I’m watching the Manchester City game and this Bayern match against Leipzig..I’d said it will be interesting to watch because I like seeing a lot of goals being score in a match and I thought this match will also be like that… this is just my personal preference btw

Could their mini-season have weakened overall? They seemed to lack the strength to compete effectively. Fortunately, they were able to salvage this match, otherwise they would have lost all hope of advancing to the next round.

The DFB match was between Bayern Munich and Leipzig. After 30 minutes, they were both still without a goal. However, as usual, Bayern Munich dominated the game and created more chances than their opponents. Harry Kane remained the top scorer in this cup, narrowly ahead of Christoph Boumgartner.

Instead of comparing these two players, I think it would be more appropriate to talk about the Bundesliga. If we compare the goals scored by Harry Kane, who currently carries the goalscoring burden for Bayern Munich, and Mbappé, I think the English striker is more effective for his team and plays a game that makes it easier for them to score goals. Bayern Munich is very lucky to have him because his experience provides a great advantage to the young players at Bayern Munich. I think he will soon win the top scorer title this year with a record number of goals. Hopefully, we can watch him until the end of the season without any injuries.
