I bet on Bayern Munich to win. They did not disappoint me. The match was very competitive. But in the end Bayern Munich won.

So they are not at risk of losing the top spot in the table. Now Bayern munich can focus entirely on the champions league matches. What I dislike about the German bundesliga is that any team that spring up and build a remarkable squad that can
 challenge Bayern Munich dominance in the German bundesliga will be weakened the following season and Bayern Munich is also part of that, since they are more financially capable than the rest of other bundesliga teams.
Just look at how borussia dortmund and Bayern Leverkusen were weakened after they won the league during the time of klopp at borussia dortmund and xabi Alonso at Leverkusen, so we should not expect the German bundesliga to be a fair competition because the quality and financial might apart with Bayern Munich and the rest of other bundesliga teams is just too much for any of them to challenge Bayern Munich in the league title race.

I have once said thus in one of my post before the game that, for Bayern Munich, it is not a big deal because whichever way the result turns out, they still have the advantage of staying at the top of the table and getting the league title.  But most persons made a big deal of the game in a way that made it felt like the determinant of their chances to winning  the title this season of which is absolutely not.

After this match, it was all clear, no team could stop Bayern Munich from winning the title. Munich is now increasingly comfortable at the top of the standings, widening the gap with Dortmund to 11 points, while the teams in third and fourth place (Hoffenheim and Stuttgart) are only just making a splash in the race for a top-four spot. Yes, this match isn't a title decider, but with the gap widening, Bayern Munich are more comfortable at the top of the table, and they can focus more on the Champions League because they don't have to worry about dropping points in several Bundesliga matches.

I think the same on it. But I would still prefer Dortmund to win if I were given a chance for it.    It would at least make the "title race" more exciting to follow with only a five-point gap.

But now as it is 10+ points I don't see much to follow for excitement. Bayern Munich are going for the championship easily. Dortmund will most probably secure the 2nd place.

The only thing to look at could be the race for the remaining spots of top 4.
