I don't think there's any luck in this because when I look at H2H for them, even from the previous few seasons Gladbach has always been a stumbling block for Bayern, even though they had to be crushed with a pretty heavy score last season.

IMO, Bayern Munich played very well, in that match Bayern Munich immediately threatened in the first minute through an upamecamo header which forced goalkeeper Yann Sommer to make the first save. There were a lot of chances that the Bayern Munich squad had in the match against Gladbach, however, we know that goalkeeper Yann Sommer's performance was exceptionally brilliant to keep the last defense from Borrussia Mochengladbach.

I really think that Werder Bremen did impressively aswell, from a Relegated team to smashing Frankfurt into a close game I think they have improved aswell, many teams in the Bundesliga are improving and I think if this keeps up in the next season we might see a competitive Bundesliga but it is too early to say it because we just have our 4th Bundesliga matchday,
