Schalke may have managed to get back, but that doesn't mean that they were good, they were just good for the league below, but they are still not good for bundesliga. I believe that they are going to drop again very quickly, as it is obvious from the results unless something major changes.

Schalke is not bad but also not good and i guess it have also to do with the coach they got at the start of the season , and a few times they was unlucky to win games.
I agree with you that the will be getting down this season or for sure playing in the relegation but think they going down straight.
And the coming game against Freiburg they will not win normaly and it will be another loss for them.

Union Berlin will have an important match in the Europa League, where they must win the match at home to Sporting Braga later.  only one point adrift of Sporting Braga, meaning, Union Berlin have a chance to be in second place if they win this match.
in theory, this match will affect their performance later in the Bundesliga match. can have a bad influence or get a strong motivation to win the next matches.

but for sure, in the game next week. I think that it depends on whether or not all players stay healthy over the course of the whole season. If they advance to the next round in the Europa League, they will need everyone on board healthy or otherwise their Bundesliga performance might significantly suffer. Taking into account that their squad is by far not as much and high quality as Bayern's, Union Berlin would suffer from injuries much more and would get into trouble to compensate for that.

I can compare Union Berlin to a club in Ligue 1, Marseille. hectic schedule, injured players and in the end they are exhausted with a decline in performance in their domestic league.

They did play a solid first season beyond doubt, but I think it is again a different situation when out of a sudden you take the lead in the table and stay there for a while. Of course that is some extra motivation for a player to stay on top, but it is also a new situation for a club like Union Berlin that they first might need to get used to. The loss against Bochum is an example for a club like Union to be nervous at times I think. Bayern is used to pressure and deals with it better than other clubs in many situations. That's one of their advantages besides having a superior squad.

Schalke's performance this season has been poor. They won only 1 out of 11 matches. Schalke's main weakness is their very weak defence. The defenders are not able to perform well. Schalke conceded 26 goals in 11 matches. If the defenders had performed well, Schalke would not have been at the bottom of the table. The Schalke management will definitely need to bring in a number of players in the winter transfer window. In particular, they must try to strengthen their defence. Schalke will not be able to get out of the relegation zone unless the defence is strengthened and their match tactics are not changed.

Schalke has very high debts that was also the reason why they could not really invest into new players after the last season even though they have managed to immediately get back into the Bundesliga again. I have to say Union Berlin was quite lucky to be able to win against Braga in their last match. They did not play very well in this match. Their performance was far below their opponent's. Union Berlin did not have any control over the match. But they got lucky and got a penalty. That helped them win the match. Otherwise, Union Berlin was not as strong in almost any aspect of the game compared to Braga.

In the next match, they are going to play against Monchengladbach and I think they should be able to win that match. Obviously, they have to win that match if they want to stay in the first position on the Bundesliga point table.

Robin Knoche's goal in the 68th minute through the penalty spot became the only goal created in the match and brought Union Berlin to victory over visitors Braga. With this win now they are still in trouble because if they want to go into next round then they have to beat leaders Royale Union which is not easy because they are leaders and not lost any match in this group and Braga is going to host Malmö which not won any match and this is giving good edge to them for qualifying into next round.

Here in Bundesliga now their lead is also reducing from second spotted 1 point which is clearly concern for them because now it's time for them to improve performance and have good results in coming matches with next match is against Mönchengladbach which is currently not good and their away record is also worst as they not win any game in this season on road, so this could be good chance for home side to improve their lead against other teams in league table.

There is no doubt that Schalke is not performing well at all at the moment. As a result, I cannot say that a team is good when they are showing this kind of performance. At least so far, it does not appear that they will be able to get out of the relegation zone. In 11 matches, they have only been able to win one game. In my opinion, that is just not good at all for a team that plays in the German Bundesliga. There is no doubt in my mind that they are going to be relegated this season. It is very difficult to predict which team will win this match. Actually both groups are equally strong. And neither team has fared better in previous head-to-head matches. They are very close to the relegation zone. Now if the points can't go up the table they will gradually fall further back.

Basically, I would like the Bundesliga to be more competitive with a few clubs that can match Bayern Munich's dominance.  however, with minimal player depth. I think it's difficult to always get win after win and always be consistent throughout the game.  especially, Union Berlin also has a busy schedule with other competitions outside the Bundesliga.

fortunately, they won the fight when they hosted Braga in last night's match.
a few days later, Union Berlin will play against Gladbach at An der alten Forsterei, the headquarters of Union Berlin. which, their energy had been drained earlier in the Europa League match.

Werder have lost points in recent matches and therefore will want to break this losing streak, they have had a very good start but it looks like they are not ready to show consistent results. Hertha is a team of about the same level as Werder Bremen, so it is difficult to predict the result in such matches, but I think that Werder will not lose because a series of four losses will be too much.
