I am not expecting much from leipzig neither am I expecting them to win the match but due to the long break and some injury problems of Bayern Munich, if they give some lapses liepzig can capitalise there and win them

There is certainly a chance for Leipzig to win against Bayern Munich, especially since the match is at home to Leipzig, which might also be another advantage for Leipzig. But it is also true as you said that in this Bundesliga Bayern Munich is still a very strong team to continue leading the standings until the end of the season even though now the points are not too far from their rivals. According to Sky, Bayern Munich have made a new offer for Sommer. 8 million euros plus 1 million euros for bonus payments. But Mönchengladbach is also said to have rejected this offer. I don't know about Bayern Munich transfer this time due Yann Sommer was 34 years old although as goal keeper position, seems he has more experience with Borussia Mönchengladbach and priority replacing position leave by Manuel Neuer actually until end this season.

Yann Sommer get contract with Bayern Munich until valid until June 2025 and has speculation about his regular position later if Manuel Neuer back from injury, will get regular position or Neuer get back his position for next season if recovery from injury.

Bayern has been defeating leipzig so many times on its home. I'm not feeling doubt bayern can repeat it in the next match. Bayern is very strong now with mane going back again after he has injured. There's no reason for Bayern to lose against leipzig.

i don't think that's the final amount. it's guaranteed to be more ! but the two clubs have probably made an agreement not to talk about the final sum.
it's probably over 10 million euros. and now there's the medical check in munich. what if they find a hidden injury in Yann Sommer now

If Bayern Munich are ready to sign Sommer then this must mean that they have accepted to put him in the starting eleven like all the time. Because I don't think a goalkeeper like Sommer would like to be in the substitutes after Neuer's return. Sommer is still a skilled and useful goalkeeper. He is one of the bests in the Bundesliga for sure.

But I wonder what will really happen when Neuer becomes fit to be able to play. Bayern Munich can't just give up on him in the end. They would like to see how he will perform first and then decide what to do with the situation.

I don't see Leipzig standing a chance against Bayern but it should be a great game because German football lately has a lot to prove and yet they prove kinda nothing when it comes to international important games so I do hope besides winning again Bundesliga , to see them trying to reach at least Semi-finals of UCL this year.

Sommer is an important goalkeeper. Experience is very important for Bayern. Sommer also has a lot of experience. It seems that they do not want to trust young goalkeepers and take risks. If they can find a goalkeeper like Donnarumma, they will transfer, but I don't see any good alternatives right now. I think Sommer is a good choice. The only problem is that he is 34 years old.

Now it seems that Jonas Omlin has come to an verbally agreement with Mönchengladbach about a transfer. Some media said Montpellier has alternatives for another goalkeeper. According to Romano Fabrizio who stated that a deal between Bayern Munich and Mönchengladbach have been agreed for Sommer for an amount around €8m plus 1.5 m in add ons. It will be good for Bayern Munich to finally come to an agreement for the goal keeper because for a while Bayern Munich have been in search of a new goalkeeper to fill in, in the absence of Neuer who is out injured, finally a breakthrough.

I just have readed it now , and wow i havnt expected that after Gladbach said first no they dont give him to Bayern Munich away.

I haven't seen any update on the Christopher Nkunku transfer for Chelsea these days. Is this deal going to be completed in the summer anyway?

Because Leipzig and Chelsea have reached an agreement as far as I know. But the transfer is still not official for this summer. I don't see it on Transfermarkt at least. I even started to think about whether they are still thinking of completing another move for the attacking line. But on the other hand Felix is going to be a temporary striker for them as it is only until this summer. They will still need another striker if they can't extend his loan contract. In that case I guess Nkunku transfer would be finalised.

I was really sad in seeing this news but surely if Christopher Nkunku wants to be out of Leipzig then he is freely out of the Bundesliga and Leipzig for good, and I think this is the ARTICLE that says Leipzig chief really confirms that have let Chelsea sign for Christopher Nkunku transfer and another ARTICLE that Chelsea have already sealed the deal of £63 Million to make the move done early this summer, I was really shocked and saddened that Leipzig will now be having a hardtime in getting up the standings without Nkunku,
