Bayern Munich will surely be the biggest favourite for the league title by a far difference according to bookmakers also. This point difference doesn't mean much to them because there is still a huge quality difference among Bayern Munich and the rest of the teams in the league. It is still a big joy to watch a title race among a few teams now. I have really missed to see this after many years. It is like for the first time Bayern Munich are struggling about keeping the distance too much with the others.

I will be wondering how their performance will change when the Champions League restarts also. Their main target is to win the Champions League obviously. Let's see whether they will keep a strong balance between two tournaments.

This is inseparable from Bayern's several games which have decreased slightly because seeing from this season they even got far more draws than the previous season even though from the ratio of losses they only got 1 time but still they lost a lot of points in the draws they got. It's a good thing because other teams are catching up now and seeing the competition get a little more lively.

I think it's an ordinary win for Borussia Dortmund because Mainz itself is one of the teams that has been underperforming this season. I would say so if they are able to keep winning every game they play. They have just won 2 times from the defeat in the previous week. It was a surprise for everyone that Bayern Munchen lost that game a couple of days ago but on the other side we all made money thanks to your predictions at that day I got over 2.5 goals for almost all the games of that day except Bayern,the only one I lost and every other game came up as over 2.5 goals which was a great day for the bettors and the odds were not low at all ranging from 1.72 to 1.88 in all those games.
Leipzig despite playing great football was winning against a team already relegated in my opinion so for the Bundesliga title they need much more consistency because Bayern when will get back the injured players will keep winning again like they always do.

The draw against Cologne was just an accident, they were very lucky that Bayern could not score a few more goals. And here it’s not even about the injured players, Bayern have someone to score, I think they will show us this soon. I was also surprised how Union Berlin were able, after several unsuccessful matches (when it seemed that they had a recession), to beat Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen and again take second place, losing only three points to Bayern.

Bayern Munich does not have any wind in their last two matches. Actually, they do not have a win in their last three matches, but I am not going to include club-friendly matches. And even if we let the match against Leipzig slide, we have to agree that they should have certainly won the match against Koln. That was easy for them. The next match is against Frankfurt and currently, Frankfurt is in a good form. I believe that Bayern Munich should be able to win this match. But things can easily go south for Bayern Munich as well.

Bayern Munich 1-1 Koln

After sharing the points against Leipzig, the Bayern Munich team also failed to win against Koln. And perhaps this is their third draw in a row. Bayern Munich team also drew against Salzburg in a friendly match. But the draw against Koln was unexpected. Koln was not a strong team. Yeah, it's true that Dortmund's been selling a lot of their top players but we gotta remember that's just part of the game. Dortmund has to make decisions that are best for them financially while others already have a bunch of money to throw away. But even with all the players sold, they always seem to find new talent and that's pretty impressive. I think as long as they keep doing what they are good at (transferring and playing), they'll be able to compete in the top 4. Don't forget they're still a strong team, they just need to get back to consistent performance

They have a good approach that helped their club resolved their financial crisis years ago. After that, they got some successful seasons but did not change the approach. It is not good if they want to win trophies but it helps them to have very good finance that is one of best in Germany.
I see the approach of Dortmund is like Monaco in Lique 1 and Sevilla in La Liga. In comparisons, Sevilla is a most successful club with this approach. They did not win La Liga but won many Europa League with 6 titles in their history and all came from recent seasons. Dortmund and Monaco have similar approach, buy young players and sell them with expensive price when they became star players but failed to succeed like Sevilla.
Maybe Dortmund wasted too much attention and resources for Bundesliga where they have nearly no opportunity to beat Bayern. Sevilla are different and they mostly focused on Europa League.

Yes, there are a set of clubs who maintain this financial policy which is to scout out potential future stars and nourish them into making them better players. And finally, sell them to the bigger clubs for a huge transfer fee.

We have been seeing these from Dortmund over and over again. They have sold players like Robert Lewandowski, Erling Haaland, Mario Garza, Mats Hummels, and a lot more players in the same manner.

Another team is Monaco who have sold players like Kylian Mbappe, James Rodriguez, etc. I think even though these teams do not rank higher in the leaderboard they make a good enough revenue from the transfer market.

@Lafu if Frankfurt can stun Bayern then Bayern’s title defence will be under severe pressure, because the difference between the top 4 team’s is very less hence Bayern can’t afford a slip up. Lastly I have a personal feeling that Bayern will be too strong for Frankfurt, hence I would strongly advise you’ll to check odds on Frankfurt and if they’re really high only then should you’ll consider wagering on them.

Actually, if Borussia Dortmund are in good shape, the goals that will occur will be more than this match. However, as we know how Borussia Dortmun are currently doing, they are having a hard time dealing with defensive play from Mainz. For me the right explanation about this, are Koln was way lucky in playing against Bayern Munich, or maybe Bayern Munich are having a hardtime that day, or having a bad day for them, consecutive draws were pretty much OK, at least they have tried their best, or maybe Koln have acquired a great player from the trade, I could be wrong about this, well later I will check their arrivals if who is new to the team, well there is not much explanation on why they become this great of a team in just a short time,

Cologne did not defend well, the goalkeeper defended well. Bayern was the one attachin only, this match could have ended with Bayern's different superiority. Cologne's goalkeeper was good and they were lucky. If you say the defense is good, watch the Mainz v Cologne game. In the Bremen match, they only shot 8 shots and scored 7 goals, which comes from luck. But this chance will not last long, we will see it when cologne plays with big teams in the next matches. Chopo-Moting picked up the jersey after Mane's injury. He scored in goals. But for me, he is not a forward who could never be a great team forward. I liked the game between Freiburg and Frankfurt.  After Freiburg lost 0:6 against Wolfsburg they found their way back into their game and style. It was very good that they showed a reaction. Now they will play at home again at Saturday. They will certainly win against Augsburg.

Mainz was an easy opponent for Dortmund. I would not be surprised that dortmund was able winning the game against mainz but it seems dortmund was trying so hard to win against mainz. It can be seen from the statistic between both if dortmund didn't have good statistic against mainz.
Mainz seems able to be equal to Dortmund caused by dortmund was not able to win against mainz with clean sheet. Mainz was able to do some attacks against Dortmund. These attacks were also making dortmund so difficult to counter back again.

I have little doubt in their victory, Stuttgart doesn't have very good defense, so I think that Leipzig will be able to score 2 or more goals today. It makes no sense to bet on victory, since the odds is very small.

Now Stuttgart are fighting to stay away from the relegation zone. Stuttgart's performance is very poor. They managed to score only 21 goals in 17 matches. Leipzig, on the other hand, is in very good form right now. They share points with mighty Bayern Munich. And in the last match against Schalke won 6-1. This suggests that Leipzig is capable of playing well against a weak defense. Stuttgart's defense is weak. So I don't think Leipzig will face any problems winning this match. I think Leipzig will win this match by at least two goals.

Werder Bremen bowed to Union Berlin at home this time after the Cologne defeat on their return to the league. They managed to beat Freiburg and Hertha Berlin with a total of eleven goals and without conceding a goal. I think Wolfsburg will be the team that can easily win the match.

Getting two draws in the previous match made Bayern Munich fail to widen the distance from its rival teams in the Bundesliga and that made them a little insecure this season to defend their title. But on the other hand, this makes the Bundesliga feel a bit competitive this season as several other teams have started to shift each other up the standings. I think maybe Bayern Munich will still win the Bundesliga this season even though lately they have not had the best results.
