It was a very interesting match. Leipzig made just 1 attempt in the first half and it was good enough to give them a goal in the 24th minute but their defense wasn't strong enough to keep the game within that range and attenuate Berlin's tenacious attack. It was a 50-50 ball play but Berlin was a bit stronger in the second half after the substitution of Ladouni for Thorsby.  It's a good thing to see Berlin in the 2nd position cuz they fort well at the start of the season.

This week, there are many predictions that I missed. Previously I was optimistic that Leipzig would win the match against Berlin. the way the game went, Leipzig controlled the game with 64% ball possession, had 10 total shots, two of which were on target and only one they could convert into goals.

But in fact Union Berlin managed to turn things around, with two goals in 11 minutes and won with a final score of 1-2 over hosts RB Leipzig in last night's match. With this result, Union Berlin again stuck closely to Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga standings by one point. the following week, it looks like Unoin Berlin has an easy game against FC Schalke. but after that, Union Berlin has an away game against Munich. and this fight, is the real test for Urs Fischer's troops to fight for the top of the Bundesliga standings.

That was a very important victory, Union Berlin are kept one point away from Bayern, I honestly didn’t think that it would be possible for them after the match with Leipzig, this was the first defeat for Leipzig in the new year, and Union Berlin were able to maintain their winning streak, they didn't even play a draw this year (even in friendly matches), they only win. They have become underdogs that are interesting to watch and I would be happy if they managed to become champions. )

In fact if Union Berlin had not been on the decline at the time then I really believe by now we would have seen them top of the table. However, it's a shame they had declined so that they wasted a lot of points and made them have to be eliminated from the top 5 in a few weeks. But now they seem to come back again and apply pressure again. Even though the situation has changed, if they can be consistent then it is not impossible that they will be at the top again.

Union Berlin maintained their chase on Bayern Munich. Because they got a really important win against Leipzig today. This was a hard-fought win for them though but actually Leipzig weren't as good as I expected them to be. Union Berlin took this chance very nicely and beat them by 2-1. Maybe things would have been more different for Leipzig if Nkunku was able to play.

Union Berlin are really a team to admire now. They totally deserve this title competition until the end of the season.

This is not an easy victory for Union Berlin but they were able to get it in a tight match with Leipzig. They even needed up to 60 minutes of the match to be able to reply to the goal that Leipzig created in the first half through Benjamin Henrichs in the 24th minute. In the 72nd minute Union Berlin was able to turn things around through the white point which was successfully finished well by Robin Knoche who advanced as executor and able to finish it very well. 3 points that are very valuable for Union Berlin to stay under Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich's match against PSG is ahead. That would be a very strong match. But I think PSG are not in a good form, Bayern Munich will be able to win the match in a big way.

Freiburg against Stuttgart, I think this match will be easy for Freiburg. We know that currently Freiburg is in 6th place in the standings after they lost 5-1 against Dortmund in their previous game. Certainly in this match they have a target to rise to the top 4 again. Meanwhile, Stuttgart is currently in 16th place and almost touching the relegation zone. My prediction is that Freiburg will win in a landslide with more than 2 goals.

I also think that yesterday it was a very lucky win for Union Berlin and to be completely honest, even though i was a completely neutral spectator of that match, i kinda hoped that RB Leipzig would win yesterday. Not because i like RB Leizpig more than Union Berlin but simply because i think that RB Leipzig probably has the biggest chances to give Bayern Munich a good fight for the Bundesliga championship this year. I just don't think that Union Berlin can stay up there until the end of the season. Borussia Dortmund is very successful after the break so far but they also were very lucky especially in the first 3 matches after the break. They won all of them but they could have also easily made 3 draws there or even have lost.

I know that the points are very close to each other and we could always see a situation that is unlike the other seasons where Bayern just won by a lot of points. However, I am still not fully convinced that it won't be like that this season neither.

Bayern could still very much be the champions and they could very well beat everything as well. They just need to refocus and try to be better, if they can do that then we are talking about a team that is capable and has the talent to beat everyone in the league and should be able to do that with ease. I am not saying they will do it, we don't know, but I am saying they are still by far better than anyone else.

They made my day yesterday, and I really appreciate them. The performance of the team last season was a surprise, but I am not surprised this season. There are a lot of talented players on their team. It seems that Union Berlin has regained its form after losing it after the World Cup. It's natural progress though since they played well last season as well. They need to be careful not to lose their players to a certain Bavarian team in the future. That game yesterday cost me a 50$ stake in my betting account online. I had paced a bet on Leipzig to win and was expecting Leipzig to win the game due to their recent winning form but union Berlin did the opposite in the game. I especially believe any match won by a team isn't place on luck because union Berlin actually played a nice football and deserve any results gotten from that game.
