Dortmund was able to win an away game with 2-0 vs Leverkusen and Schalke got 1 point from Koln in the last games of the 18th round.
With the 6 points that Bayern wasted, Union, Leipzig, Dortmund and Freiburg are all 3 points or less than them.
Bayern will play vs Wolfsburg next and Dortmund will face Freiburg. Union - Mainz and Koln - Leipzig, not easy games and Bayern have the occasion to increase the gap in my opinion.

I guess Leverkusen's coach Xabi Alonso is still having a hardtime in dealing with some plays for Leverkusen but this is still Dortmund that they are playing, but looking at the game stat I think that Leverkusen did a great job with the number of shots, Pass accuracy, passes, Possession and the  shot's on target all percentage was high for Leverkusen and Leverkusen's fouls are lesser than Dortmund but a goal is still a goal and Dortmund have made 2 goals that Leverkusen did not,

And next game for Dortmund will be Freiburg, while Leverkusen has Augsburg to play,

I am worried about the Bayern Munich match. The team lost the truck after the World Cup break. And in three consecutive matches, they have drawn and lost points. Their performance has deteriorated. Bayern Munich will not be able to win against Wolfsburg if they perform like this. Their performance definitely needs further improvement. And of course, the attacking players need to perform better.

Bayern has indeed dropped a lot of points. With 3 wins that would have been 6 points more. Especially the competition at the top has continued to win. Dortmund's last victory in stoppage time was a very important one. It will not be the case that Bayern will hand over the title this season, will it? I really couldn't imagine that happening. 3 draws is no longer an incident. However, Bayern is so good that they can now win 7 times in a row, for example. I don't see the competition doing that. But also nice to have a season in which it is all close together. Bayern has already become champion with a street length lead, no one is waiting for that.

Honestly, I think Bayern Munich having drawn and having to share points with their opponent is actually the most interesting thing that has been happening in the Bundesliga right now. Because we all know that Bayern Munich is the team that always gets away from everyone early. In the end, there is actually no one who becomes successful in catching them.

But now it has been different. This season, it has been different. Because Bayern Munich started the season a little shaky. At that time the team which was giving them competition was Union Berlin. 5 teams within just 3 points of each other is definitely a great thing, I do not remember the last time we had something like this in Bundesliga after like week 10, usually Bayern takes off and others are not this close to each other neither.

It is going to be a pretty tough next month for all of them considering they all know they need to win all their games, but not all 5 could keep on winning their games, eventually one of them or more will end up losing while others win and this will be disrupted and won't be this close. The real funny part would be if some loses and others win, but following with the winners lose and losers win so it's back to close again, that would be pretty awesome.

leipzig and union berlin have a squad value that is much smaller than bayern but they are able to almost shift bayern in the bundesliga, if only this continues to happen then the trend of gathering expensive players in one team will disappear

Looks like the Bundesliga this season is much better than in previous seasons. Usually, Bayern dominates the league with quite a large number of points difference and only Dortmund is considered Bayern's arch-rival. But this season, we see that several clubs are playing very well and have made considerable progress, even Dortmund is not like that. Especially after Frankfurt won the European League, both they and other clubs became more excited and the fact is that they have quite a few points this time with the leaders, Bayern. Dortmund seem to be in a better form than them despite the points are the same. In addition, Dortmund have nearly always beat them in their home games. I will be expecting Dortmund to do this once again honestly. They are still having defensive issues though and the Leverkusen game could have ended differently as well. Therefore they had better be more solid against Freiburg. Otherwise this time Freiburg can surprise them.

It seems Bayern Munich losing focus that is why their performance is not coming out best in their games. I feel what Bayern Munich is fighting for is to win the Champions League , this is their main target.  Bayern Munich has always been winning the Bundesliga,  maybe they just need something new.
