But last week they managed to beat Union Berlin. And they got their second win this season. Mönchengladbach are looking better than Augsburg in recent weeks. I see them as the favorites. But both teams make too many mistakes in defense and concede too many goals. I will bet on both teams to score in this match.

I don't know what the club management was thinking when they prioritized business over the club's legacy. I mean it's okay Dortmund prioritized business a decade ago when they were not yet a top European team. In the last few seasons Dortmund have performed well in European competitions and they should have focused on the team's success in winning trophies. Not so sure that Dortmund will be a Bundesliga contender this season because now there are several other teams who are much stronger. Before Leverkusen became the team they are now, they should have been one of the strong candidates for the title, but Dortmund always failed to achieve a good finish in the Bundesliga.

That's why I said Dortmund is inconsistent in their performance. A few seasons ago we only saw Munich and Dortmund as title contenders in the Bundesliga but unfortunately Dortmund only managed to win once and the rest were Munich who won. Even Dortmund once won second place because they only lost on goal difference in the 2022/2023 season. This season I still put Dortmund as one of the contenders, although I doubt their chances of winning the title.

To be honest, I'm not sure Dortmund has drastically changed the business philosophy that they have been running for quite a long time. It's true, Dortmund looks a little different now. However, they are still looking for young talents that they will orbit someday with a high transfer value. We can see, Dortmund still has several young players that they might prepare to become valuable players. In the last summer transfer window Dortmund brought in Guirassy from Stuttgart, but they also recruited a 21-year-old young striker, Beier. In addition, Jamie Gittens is a young talent that Dortmund has prepared before. There are also several other young players, although they have not been given much time to show their talents. @LUCKMCFLY, the Borussia Dortmund team of today is very competitive and can compete for in any major competition in Europe with the strong intentions of winning a trophy at the end but do you think they have all it takes to retain this team for a longer period? Dortmund is known for discovering and signing young but very talented players, breed them to become global stars and sell them for high prices and I feel they can still repeat it again by next summer. The teams are seriously fighting for the 8 position because even if Augsburg is on the wining side but I cannot really be certain of there staying on that position right now until they finish playing the match because we have seen how most matches this days that was supposed to end with wining turn out to be draw a minute to the end, so nobody knows if such event will happen on this match, they are currently at the 90 minutes now.

I believe the coach of Aston Villa took his time to watch the games of Bayern Munich before his team played against them because ordinarily every one was expecting Bayern Munich to have an easy win since the team has not participated in the Champions League for much . Harry Kane has done well for the team I believe he may not win the champions League but the domestic league this season may be difficult considering the performance of the team in the early stages.
