Playing brilliantly in today's match, Union Berlin are currently leading by one goal in their exciting early game. We have seen that the Champions League Dortmund performed brilliantly in the last match where they won by a huge margin but today they are not performing well in the Germany Bundesliga. Although I still expect the team to attack more strongly and Dortmund will stand back to counter, Dortmund have most of the ball at the moment.

And on top of that and after the performance in th Champions League i guess nobody was thinking that Dortmund will be lose today in Union Berlin.

The same here.    Leverkusen to win by a gap of at least 2 goals and BTTS on the Dortmund game. The latter won but the former lost really hard. 

I just don't understand how Leverkusen couldn't even win this game. They really found us to troll. Normally the gap was just huge on paper. Games aren't won on paper of course but still... It is a big disappointment. Things aren't going the same way for Xabi Alonso this season. They weren't always going to have such an enormous run obviously but at least they could have won today.

Dortmund losing, Leverkusen drawing, this was definitely an unexpected week for Bundesliga, and certainly was unexpected at European competitions too. We need to reconsider the teams that we think are good and teams we think that are bad, otherwise it is not going to be something that will take that much time and wouldn't be easy neither.

I believe we are going to see the order of the league change a bit. Bayern is still the top team, but the rest could change a bit, and this is why we need to reconsider when we are betting, some teams look great but they are probably not as great as people think they are.

I think the reality is that we are going to face some issues and because of this we are going to end up with some unexpected teams being higher than some better teams at the end of the season. Like Leverkusen finishing under many teams that we did not expected, and Xabi definitely will lose some credibility with his managerial prowess after this season.

Unfortunately unfortunately, Borussia Dortmund were not able to equalize the two goals and were able to score only one goal in the second half of the game and that gave Union Berlin three points and zero points to Borussia Dortmund. With the way the Dortmund team are playing this season and not been consistent, allowing smaller teams to beat them and collect three points, they may fall out of the top four and may not even get the chance to contest for the league title this season. Conceding more and more is not what they should be doing now but rather gathering enough points and goals and stay at that top table. After successfully performing very impressive in the Champions League by beating Celtic 7-1, today we see Dortmund seem to lose their sharpness against Union Berlin, although they can still dominate in the match but actually Union Berlin played more effectively in attack, throughout the match they continued to be pressured by the impressive attack built by Union Berlin in the match which finally made Dortmund lose Again, losing 2-1 to a team that is not better than them of course Dortmund consistency and performance at the moment is starting to be questioned, so I think by continuing to experience a inconsistent of form it obviously makes their chances of becoming champions very small this season, Dortmund sometimes perform very great but in other matches they have a very bad performance and have to lose the match which they should be able to win.

Leverkusen's game is actually not bad. but a draw at home against a team in the relegation zone is certainly a bad result for Leverkusen who last season even won the trophy without losing.
do we see Leverkusen's game declining or the competition in the Bundesliga increasing? if this situation continues for a few more matches, of course, Leverkusen will not be able to catch up with points from other teams to compete for the trophy. but I hope they still deserve a place in the top 4 standings.

Yes, if we compare these two team we will get more wins from Dortmund and more lose or draws from Union Berlin.  This clearly shows that Dortmund is a strong and well-performing team.  Union berlin can't do that at all, if they play hard and fast and win the match, they can probably beat Dortmund, otherwise they don't have any such qualities.  And anyway, they look weak and haven't won enough matches to know they'll beat Dortmund.  Obviously, when Dortmund's performance is better, they will have a higher position in the standings than Union Berlin.  If they had won more matches, their performance could have been a bit stronger, but win only 2 matches and losing the rest does not count as a good performance.  Well, it ended in a draw but they should have won the rest of the matches in which they presented themselves on a weak note and lost the matches.  This win will only go to Dortmund as they will be under pressure and will score more goals.

This shows Leverkusen can handle pressure. Game was exciting with both teams showing excellent teamwork and fair play.

Kompany performed well with his players in this match and they even had more goal opportunities and more possession in this match than Leverkusen. I think Kompany was trying to do his best because he knew if he lost this match he would pay for it more than he could expect and that made Kompany and his players to have a 1-1 result.
I think even both Kompany and Xabi Alonso were satisfied and they wanted to see this result instead of losing the game because they didn't take any risk in this match. Kompany currently has a better situation in the Bundesliga and they could place safe.
