In the Champions League second leg, Bayern Munich will meet a tough match because Real Madrid might also be cooking a retaliation from their defeat against Bayern Munich in the first leg. When Xabi Alonso left, we could safely say that it was a bad blow to Leverkusen, but more importantly they lost a lot of great players on that team as well like Frimpong and Wirtz, and some others. Which means that they had to make some transfers to replace those players and they did a bad job of that as well.

They hired Erik Ten Hag to replace Xabi Alonso, which was a horrible mistake, and spent an entire summer with him, even asked him about buying who, and then fired him after like only three games. Leipzig is the 3rd team, but Bayern beat them 6-0, what do you think about that? For now no them can challenge Bayern Munich in the league this season because they are better than all the teams in the league and they will continue to win the league unless they have issues in the team that would result to them losing most of their players or losing a good manager that would coordinate them very well. The Bundesliga has been won by them this season Dortmund is not a threat to them because they are not consistent but if other teams buy more good players they could challenge Bayern Munich in the future.

Leverkusen pulled the shocker of the weekend by beating Dortmund which I doubted before the beginning of the match. Given how informed Dortmund has been and them playing at home made it looked impossible for them to lose today but it didn’t look that way in the end. The race for the top 4 is heating up and Stuttgart won’t won’t want to be the team that will drop point. I think they are going to win their match tomorrow.
