Dortumund is currently in a good position in the championship and i think it is not their intention to give up their position, Stuttgart is in fact where Dortmund is aiming but i don't think they will be able to steal their position, on the contrary they will put themselves there and not leave, too bad there is always Bayern Munich playing another sport

Yes, their only goal this season is to maintain second place in the standings, and it might be very easy for them considering there is no more busy schedule that they have to go through and catching Bayern is also very late, you could say that Dortmund engine is too late to heat up this season because their performance is good when approaching the end of the season, but it's not a bad thing, at least they are back to their origins, namely finishing in second place.

They couldn't get the wins they needed against Bayern Munich to secure the championship. If they had won against Bayern Munich, they might be in a strong position to win the title today. After all, three points from the Bayern Munich match, combined with three points from their opponent, would have made it a six-point game. If they beat Bayern Munich in either match, Borussia Dortmund would have gained a 12-point advantage. Naturally, Bayern Munich has a 12-point advantage this year. The dortmund comeback was a total no sense i saw it from the start and damn man it was crazy first of all they had 3 penalties in a single game which is one of the most uncommon things we can have in a game, secondly i cant believe how Hamburg let go the game, it was in just a few minutes where they allow Dortmund to score and the defense was a complete mess.

Dortmund made one of the biggest comeback in the history of football in Bundesliga history, they were two goals down from the first half of the game and after they come back from the second half they started giving their opponent a pressure to make sure they get back to the game, this is how they should have stated the season and give Bayern Munich a tough season but no any Bundesliga team is capable of competing with Bayern Munich this season and they have 90 percent of winning the league title.

Dortmund is one of the team that have winning mentality before, I can remember their performance in 2024 Champions league, they beat many teams and play against Real Madrid in the final and Real Madrid won the Champions League by beating them2-0, there is one thing that make Dortmund perform change and i think it is because of the comeback that Atlanta did against them in the Champions League, Dortmund should have been the one to play against Bayern Munich in the round of 16 and they failed to perform well against Atlanta that Bayern Munich beat with 10 goals.

Dortmund are suppose to be among the top teams struggling for the title, have always said it and playing Stuttgart shouldn't be a team we have to say Dortmund are going to struggle or find hard to play against matter what except we see something different on the pitch that Stuttgart are showing more dominance than Dortmund, all these things are happening because the club Dortmund have failed and the other clubs have seen them for who they are. Imagine if Dortmund are as crazy as Bayern Munich it would have been different and no team can come close to these two teams (Bayern Munich and Dortmund) but imagine when Bayer Leverkusen, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Hoffenheim and the others who cares to step up are the ones trying to make a change in the Bundesliga, it means the improvement is showing massively for them but Dortmund other clubs will keep rubbing shoulders with them to dominate them completely.

Borussia Dortmund is in middle of crisis as they have focused on idea of selling club, growing and selling young talents instead of building culture of winning by all means necessary. This approach has made them lose their scary side i.e. middle level teams such as Stuttgart or Leverkusen are no longer afraid but they have begun to think of Dortmund as equal that they can beat. Other clubs are improving their game by being smarter with data and having clear coaching method, Dortmund appears to be stuck lacking clear style of play or aggressive nature of Bayern Munich. In order to rebuild to be top power again, they must stop being stepping stone to talents and instead they should work on large tactical change and leadership mindset that requires them to win trophies as opposed to being happy with making it into Champions league.

Dortmund have never  fought for the title. The management's main goal is to make money by making a player a little more experienced and selling him for a big amount in the next season. Dortmund have been able to produce  some excellent players. But they have sold  everyone for a big amount. Dortmund is one of the renowned teams in the bundesliga. They will be in the top  4 of the points table, that's for sure. But it is not possible for them to compete for the title. If they want to win the title , then they will definitely have to strengthen  their squad.

If Borussia Dortmund had lost that game, it would have been very embarrassing for them to have lost to Hamburg who gained promotion from relegation, another embarrassing thing for Dortmund would have been the fact that they were beaten at home. Indeed they did very well to have gotten the equaliser and also getting all three points after conceding two goals. It was indeed a classic performance from the former German champions.

Borussia Dortmund suffered to get that result though, so they were close to embarrassment.
The worst thing would perhaps have been exactly as you say the loss at home, that would have been a moral slap in the face.
They still sweated to get the lead goal, it wasn't a walk in the park for them, it leaves me thinking a lot to tell the truth, because we're talking about the team in second place in the Championship, in theory so one of the best and suffering so much was not a nice sight.

The crisis you talked about is like making excuses for Dortmund for their big failures, they never started playing rubbish in the Bundesliga, the failure started a long time ago when one of their great players Marco Reus was in the club, the annoying part of his stay was when they're suppose to win to calm the title but they lost. Is sad that we have Dortmund as the team that can face Bayern Munich and compete with them for the title, with or without the crisis you talked about, they have it but something is wrong that they could not beat Bayern for the title. They are only good at selling good and young talented players off the club and even to Bayern but couldn't find a replacement that can make the club be as competitive than they ever where, Dortmund sometimes reminds m nof Arsenal and I said this as of last season but now Arsenal are better than Dortmund and the Gunners will win something this season while Dortmund won't which will continue like it's a curse.
