Atalanta didn't have the slightest chance of winning, even though it seems strange to me that they allowed so many goals to be scored, no one expected that Atalanta would win against Bayern Munich but at least they would avoid this disgrace at home in front of thousands of fans who came from all over the city to support the team.

It was actually embarrassing for Atlanta but then Bayern Munich is a superior side so the victory from Bayern Munich is more like an expected one but what I really agree with is that the number of goals is something Atalanta should have tried to not allow get that much, Bayern literally got a very comfortable win that will help them moving forward, let us see what Atalanta will do when next they meet.

Atalanta are not match for Bayern Munic so I expected Bayern Munic to win the match but not with that score. So, I agree with you that it was an embarrassing defeat they gave to them. This year's champions league have revealed how bad the Italian Serie A have gotten because there is no justification that none of the team is standing well in the round of 16 with many of them kicked out before this stage. I'm particularly surprised at Juventus and AC Milan that used to be the pride of the league. Now they are in shambles with no glimmer of hope at bouncing back.

Bayern is having one of the best seasons they had. After that 2020 year where they won all six cups, I have not seen them be this dominant at all. They will face Leverkusen at the cup, then whoever wins freiburg and stuttgart game and those do make sense, like seems like they could win all those two games and get the dfk pokal or whatever their German cup is named.

I don't see Bayer Leverkusen like a club that will beat Bayern Munich , because I have been following them from the beginning of this season and Bayern Munich will not allow weak club like Bayer Leverkusen to beat them.

Despite they are beating clubs in the champion league I don't think they will be able to win that trophy, because there are strong clubs that will not allow them to lift the trophy no matter the strong players they are going to use through out the tournament.

Having high quality players and performing well works better in the domestic leagues but I can't say the same for the champions league. Bayern Munich might be one of the most formidable teams in Europe right now but even if it guarantees them the Bundesliga it doesn't guarantee them the champions league. We have seen instances where the best performing team ends up losing to another team less in form compared to them. Take Arsenal as an example how they end up with a draw against Leverkusen. The champions league is very unpredictable, a lot of top teams that can compete so Bayern Munich can lose to a team they won in the group stage so nothing is assured.

I admit there are no guarantees in the UCL, and it's true that teams with squads full of quality players can ultimately lose to more experienced teams. But with so many quality players, Munich has at least a chance of winning the UCL title. We can see how Munich has performed since their first match and have consistently delivered satisfactory results.

But remember, I'm just stating the facts and don't mean I'm a Bayern Munich fan.

Atlanta is considered between the good teams but I think the match between Atlanta and Bayern Munich was expected to results in the favour of Bayern Munich. Because where the Bayern is standing is a strong place and everyone knows that Bayern Munich is not an easy opponent to anyone. Because the position and the status Bayern Munich occupied is definitely a thing which ultimately converts other in an under pressure status. Which cause the worst result in both the conditions winning and loosing because some plays too much better being pressurised and some looses their confidence in front of a such string opponent and met with a bad failure. And in this match Atlanta allows them very favourable goals which may due to pressure.

Seriously, Bayern Munich are in great form this season, and with their current form, if they remain consistent, it will bring them a lot of trophies this season. When Kompany was appointed as Bayern Munich's new coach, I was not expecting much from him, but currently I am viewing him as a great coach. If it continues like this and helps Bayern Munich to win trophies, especially the Champions League, it will set a big record for Bayern Munich and also in the world.

But let's see how Bayern Munich will end this season. The fact is that they have already won the Bundesliga because I don't think the team in second place can catch up with Bayern Munich. What I am aiming for them to win is the Champions League, and they are among the favorite teams to win it this season.The point is that any team can beat another team based on luck, so I can't fully say that Bayer Leverkusen can't beat Bayern Munich. But all I can say is that Bayern Munich are the favorite team to win the match because they are stronger than Leverkusen.Also, let's know that Leverkusen is not as bad as we may think. I watched their match against Arsenal in the Champions League, and I saw the way they performed. They performed very well, more than my expectations.

And considering Real Madrid was considered weak even against City because of the amount of players they are missing, unless there is suddenly a rush of players coming from injury at Real Madrid, Bayern will beat them too and with ease.

You never know of course, anything could happen, but looks like it should be simpler. However, what we are missing out here is that Bayern still doesn't have anyone they are facing that is better than them on paper. We are having a year where no team is the favorite against Bayern Munich. They have been the favorites in almost every match they've played. They've scored a lot of goals in every game. Most recently, they played magnificently against Atalanta in the Champions League. Bayern Munich is making history this year. They are exhibiting a similar performance in the Bundesliga as well. There is no team that can stand against them. Neither Leverkusen nor Dortmund. Bayern Munich is the sole ruler of the Bundesliga. The 92 goals they scored in 25 matches is another statistic that shows this.

I was not expecting anything short of this although not as severe as the goals were too. Maybe a 3 goals to none would have been the maximum I would have expected especially given the Atalanta team would want to pull some  strings too in this competition. A 6 solid goals to 1 does not sound encouraging at all from the side of the Atalanta squad especially if they plan to go far this tournament. Even the single goal which was scored by Pasalic was at the injury time and to me it didn’t add up anything to the team as far as I’m concerned. As for the Bayern Munich team, I will give you guys your onions. You did well with outing and Olise was the player which I was proudest of all in the game then of course Musiala who is always there to make goals and wins for the team. Well done Gnabry for the wonderful assist to the first goal scored by Stanisic and for equally scoring the third goal and kudos to Olise once more for being a good assist to the third goal scored by Gnabry after scoring the second goal himself in few minutes.

Olise was something else altogether and I do not have even the words for it beyond. That guy scares me now. Like legitimately scared of watching him in a quarter final.

The thing about him that nobody casually mentions is he wasn't even getting "easy" goals. He was curling shots from positions of where honestly the majority of players just pass. He chose to shoot. And it went in. Twice. That's another type of player.

You said Musiala and yeah he scored. That guy was back from a broken leg, literally, two months ago. Also Kane didn't even play. Scored six without their leading striker who has 45 goals this season.

The yellow card thing with Kimmich and Olise though. It was smart and obviously premeditated. But to watch Musah shove Kimmich in frustration over it was the most human moment of the whole game for me. The only moment when Atalanta felt something.

Three players down of one match they won 6-1. That's the ridiculous state of adventurous intensity of contemporary football. Even when you destroy someone, you pay for it one way or another.

Hahaha I laugh after I read the last line of your post which I bolded. Atalanta is as good as gone and that is the truth. Bayern munich is a stronger side and atalanta have already conceded six goals in the first leg. Meanwhile bayern munich conceded only 1 goal, Atalanta needs to score six goal in bayern munich home which is likely not going to happen because bayern munich can't concede that many goals at home.

Bayern Leverkusen stopped being a rival to Bayern Munich after they won the Bundesliga so i don't think they will show any resistance when they meet. Bayern Munich won their UCL first leg with a huge margin so that it will enable them to concentrate in the Bundesliga games. Bayern Munich is 11 points clear at the top of the table which even if they decide to lose against Leverkusen it won't still affect their gap so much because it may only be reduced to 8 points gap. On the other hand, Bayern Munich may be planning to gather more points so that they can win the league earlier and give full attention to the Champions League games.

This is going to be a very tough match regardless and fate position that each team are currently on the table. Bayern Munich has already taken the early lead in this competition, so I don’t see Bayern Leverkusen fighting in this game in order to overtake them from the table, but they’re just doing that in order to earn their three points and fight to finish the season in top four this season. I would be really looking forward to watch this game, I want to see the strength of Bayern Munich once again and would also want to see the resistivity of Bayern Leverkusen to be victorious aging Bayern Munich.
