@stompix I am sure you checked the odds for Mainz and when I saw the 3-0 halftime lead, I thought you may have skipped on this one because the odds were actually pretty bad. But just imagine you would have done it and went for Mainz and then Bayern turns this into a 3-4 after 90 minutes I was kind of shocked though at halftime because it shows how much quality Bayern really loses when just a few of their best players don't play. It is a huge difference when Olise and Kane are around, but I could imagine that the difference is that big. It is quite a shame for starting Bayern team to fall behind three goals against a team that is not playing for anything either. Mainz is stuck in the middle and that makes it even worse, but they got it eventually Maybe that is a little confidence boost for the important games.

I avoided Bayern Munic today because of their champions league match against PSG yet they still won and scored as much as 7 goals, what a miss today! Bayern Munic have already won their league because their closest rival cannot catch up with them even if they decided to lose some of their matches, so I was thinking they may even play the match with their third team but I was wrong, they played the match like they play other matches and still won the game clean. If they are able to maintain this scoring skill, it will be hard for PSG to handle them, although PSG is not also a small team especially when they have gotten to the semi final of the champions league.

Bayern Munich's performance was very good. Mainz was leading by three goals in the first half. Mainz team was very confident that they might win today but they forgot their game against Bayern Munich. The great game that Bayern Munich showed in the second half was really a surprise. The coach was able to lead well. The match ended with a 3-4 goal difference and we can definitely confirm that their performance against PSG in the Champions League will be much better after seeing Bayern Munich's performance. However, we are going to see Bayern Munich team in the Champions League final. Their current confidence will take them to the final.

For now Bayern Munich remains infallible with their dominance in the Bundesliga, I do not think there is going to be any other team that will come to strip them of the dominance soon, the likes of Dortmund and other top teams can if they improve but so far, they do not look like they are having the capacity or team depth now to handle all of that.

Bayern Munich are going to be dominating the bundesliga no doubt but they will find it hard to cope if the key players of their squad had to go injuries because it's always showing that they find it to play with the substitute players because on more than one occasion they have failed to manage their backline and conceded  much goals but only to salvage the game at the very end of time and also achieve this only when they played the very best in the team which can be sort of a disadvantage when they are competing in many competitions.

They just showed us today that their fighting spirit is top-notch. Despite that Bayern Munich won this match, they should have reserved them energy to face PSG in the Champions League match instead of the stress and efforts they used for Mainz which is not even an important match because they have already won the Bundesliga, maybe they just want to record that one lose against Augsburg and not lose any other match till they play their last match of the season. It's all good anyway, hope they reproduce this awesome performance when they face Paris Saint Germain.

I actually checked the odds before and I said to myself, attractive, at 1.8 but ...they have the PSG game, and I had the same feeling as you, even without checking the squad, I had a hunch they would rest some and play just to play, as it had zero importance for them.

As for the 3-0 moment, let's be honest, who would have bet on Bayern then, maybe if I were dead tired and drunk, not realizing who leads who and if by mistake instead of Mainz I would have clicked on Bayern, I know they can come back, I saw that happening before and ruining some bets of mine but no, not in 1 million realities would I have taken that bet other than like 2-3 euros for fun of taking it without even hoping to win.

Rene Wagner has yet to lose a match since becoming Köln’s new head coach. This season, Köln has shown their opponents just how difficult it is to beat them at home. Still, my pick for this match is Leverkusen. Because Leverkusen can’t afford to make any more mistakes on their path to the Champions League.

They need the points much more, and they have a superior squad. They may have lost a match they dominated against Augsburg in the final moments, but I can’t say they played poorly. I think Köln will score due to derby motivation and the home field advantage, but Leverkusen will win this match.

Leverkusen really risked the win a lot! They were playing against a team which aren't still in a very comfortable position from relegation threat. But their 2nd half performance was a disgrace... 

Thankfully they won one way or another and my first bet in my Bundesliga parlay won. Now I'm waiting for Hoffenheim to beat HSV which is 1-1 at the moment. If it also wins the last one is going to be Stuttgart win.

Yes I just followed it a bit on bet365 to see what's going on and how the odds develop, but I was referring taking the underdogs here, and the odds were pretty bad to begin with. What I find weird is on the one hand the bookies gave Mainz quite a shot here in terms of the odds, but when Bayern was already 2-0 down, it still wasn't really worth the risk. IIRC, they were at odds around 7-8 when they were 2-0 down and then when it was 3-0, it still didn't go up significantly? Or do you mean it around 22 when they were down 0-3?

What is so weird is that these games don't mean anything and you wouldn't really have to go all out to turn it around. However, for Mainz I think it still worth trying to beat Bayern as I think that means a little bit of history in every professional players' book, but handing it over like that? It is obviously a question of quality and they bring on Kane and Olise and the entire game is turned upside down.

But just imagine Kane or Olise would have become injured? That would have been insane. Either way a weird turn of events. I definitely would not want to be one of the starters here, pretty bad testimony... Whether there is anything on the line or not, you should not fall behind 0-3, then a wave of substitutions comes and you sit on the bench and see your team winning because you got just taken out.

Bayern munich fine run of form continues even as they have wrapped up the season by winning the Bundesliga title, I was thinking that they were going to shift attention to the champions League and reduce the way that they score goals but that was not it as Bayern munich went away and scored four goals against  Mainz in a 3:4 thriller.i did not bet on bayern munich this weekend because I was thinking that they were not going to take the remaining matches no longer seriously.


Let see if Bayern munich can get up continue to increase the point gap and get up to Ninety to ninety five points with the remaining games that are left to be played before the season gets to a close.

I don't know what came over Kompany to make this kind of line up, he almost added loss to their already finished work. The team was bad because that formation was bad from the begin, they went to the second half to give the team some advice to change the pattern of counter attack, immediately he saw the first one goal, he started substitution of players that were not giving him what he want to players he was reserving for the Champions League.

He did well for making the right call later but it still not worth it that he used some of those players, it would have been better if he just let it play. Kane is a key player that should be resting for now till the next round of Champions League, if anything should happen to him in their domestic league, PSG will happily take away the trophy from them because I know they will advance to final and from there they can take the trophy home.

Augsburg drew 1-1 at home against Frankfurt. To be honest, we could describe both teams as aimless, but finishing seventh in the league is still significant. Frankfurt secured a crucial point with this away draw. Given they went into the second half trailing, even this single point is significant.

Amiri delivered a very spectacular performance against Bayern today. From my observation, two of the three goals were sneaked through the same wing where the player wearing Mathys Tel's number 39 played. I think it was Bara Sapoko Ndiaye-- he tripped badly, creating the a big chance for Amiri to square in and take a shot that hit the woodwork for a rebounce, the the goal.

His form is top notch and then came Harry Kane, adding his 33rd goal of the league season, keeping him 15 goals away from Stuttgart's Undav who has only 18 goals in the second place. Congratulations to Bayern Munich again.

I had just the same thoughts up in my head. But I went on to pick them. The draw games added to my slips ended my game but that comeback was surprising. I thought it ends as draw but they pushed on.

Bayern has pulled off another incredible comeback. They proved once again that they can turn the game around regardless of the score. In the second half, Harry Kane and Michael Olise came on as substitutes and changed the game, scoring a goal each. I love that Bayern wants to win even a meaningless match against Mainz. These guys seriously have no competition in the Bundesliga—they can recover from a 3-goal deficit and have scored over 100 goals this season. Kompany’s team is just insane.

Damn, I missed the @5+ odds on Bayern Munich to win. Probably not just me, after going 3 goals down, a lot of bettors lost confidence in backing them.

And yeah, it made sense at the time. When you’re already 3 goals behind, everyone assumes Kompany won’t risk his key players and will rest Kane and others to keep them fresh for the UCL. After they conceded those 3 goals, I stopped watching and thought Munich were done for. Turns out Kompany brought on Olise and Kane, and they managed to turn the game around. Really annoying to miss out on those big odds.

I think most gamblers do the same because the risk is too high for a small profit. I was even optimistic they would lose when Mainz scored three goals in the first half. But after Kompany brought on his key players in the second half, they went wild and staged a comeback like usual. I hope this isn't a mistake on their part, fielding a core of players for such an unimportant match with the UCL looming.

I have no idea what the running bets were at that time since I never actually checked, I turned in only when it was 3-2 already and only becuase I saw it in the live feed, otherwise I wouldn't have even bothered, it was a game with no meaning so I never expected much about it.

Yeah, imagine something like 2-3 players getting injured and you then lose 2-0 or 3-1 to PSG
But you beat Mainz!
